This place is just MEH to me. I LOVE the fruit yogurt smoothies and will travel for them, but the food is tasteless and overpriced. The service is what has caused the low stars. Went here this weekend to eat. The staff are pretty nice. I ordered the kid's PB&J for my son and he spit out a piece of plastic. Looked like a piece of the strip that seals a plastic ziploc bag. I was gonna complain but since I used to work in a restaurant, I know sh*t happens. The Asian Chicken salad was good and my hub's veggie sandwich was good. This review is just for the froyo and ice cream. I was craving for froyo. This is the only location with froyo at that time. They had one flavor of froyo which is the original, it was over priced for a cup with three topping. We also had their ice cream, it was too sweet for my taste. Some of the fruit toppings were fresh, and some weren't. The mango was frozen. I'm sticking to a froyo place next time instead of a place that's mainly for salads and sandwiches, which are probably awesome. read more

There is a big problem with the way the food is handled at Sweetleaf. Most employees do not speak English either, so you cannot give any feedback to them. The staff uses the same gloves to serve the food in your plate and touch everything else computer, dirty rag etc. Also, the utensil were there just for decoration, the food was pushed back with a dirty rag. I made an attempt to point that out to them with no avail. In addition it would be nice to have gluten free bread for sandwiches. read more

The "Ladybird" egg salad sandwich is pretty good but always incredibly messy to try to eat! The build your own salad option is okay, but really, at 7.00 per salad? I could build my own for much cheaper on my own. I agree with the other commenter who wrote that there seems to be a language barrier problem, I've had to repeat myself on more than one occasion to some of the workers. They don't seem to understand when I tell them I just want a tiny bit of mayo. They will squirt a TON on anyway! Things go incredibly slowly when they are busy, snails going across the room would be faster! The milkshakes are yummy but they are pretty pricey too. The cheese quesadillas never seem to stay very hot for long. The seating is odd in that it's communal style, you will always be stuck next to a stranger during their peak hours. A good option for salads and sandwiches. They have a nice variety of ingredients to choose from for the salads and there are plenty of flavorful, healthy dressing options. The crispy kale in particular is a nice addition to the salad. I had the San Remo salad and was not disappointed. I LOVE this place and really wish one was closer to me!!! The parking is a bit bad, but it's that entire area. The staff has always been very nice and there was even a mix up on a order which the woman fixed without any hesitation. I feel like a pig here because I usually order for lunch and dinner since I don't get to come here often and it's just so good. I've only tried two things and will ONLY get them. The caprese sandwich...This is well worth the trip! It tastes so fresh and the balsamic vinaigrette is delicious. You MUST get it on the baguette; I'm use to the rock baguette at panera, but here it's so light and flaky...it's heaven. It's also surprisingly filling! I usually get the caprese salad and save it for dinner which is exactly the same thing, but a huge helping of spinach. The San Remo sandwich is also very good! After every bite I'm have to lick avocado off of my fingers. The sandwich is just missing some kind of flavor as it has a bit of a bland flavor to it, I can't put my finger on it. Haven't been here for awhile and decided to take a break from work and grab some lunch to go. Ordered the San Remo in a wrap and the Le Club in a wrap for my husband. Also had a cup of vegetable lentil soup. Soup was delicious and filled with veggies. The San Remo wrap is my go to favorite and it did not disappoint. Still waiting to hear about the Le Club wrap. My husband got the Soprano wrap with extra meat and I got the Chili Baja on a wrap. As usual, they were wonderful. The restaurant was very busy today around noon but I got waited on very fast and they even remembered that I like two pickles for each of us. After all, the sandwiches are so large, you have it for two meals! Although I haven't been there for a couple of months, we had been getting sandwiches and salads from them about once a week before that ... everything is so good and the staff are all very friendly By-the-way, the Soprano used to be called the "Italian" ... my husband likes the new sandwich just as well as the old one :) read more

Oh man, I love this place. It may be slightly pricey but for the quality of food it is excellent. Their sandwiches are always packed and their salads are huge. For healthy foodies in the area, this place is a must. They have a great array of ingredients so you can really make it your own. The KooKooRoo is my favorite sandwich there. The pastries here are on another level. Their chocolate milkshake is maybe the best milkshake I've ever had, and their pastries are excellent and always fresh. Dressing was good, but they wanted to charge .50 per topping not included on the menu, but it was pretty tasty. bad - Tuna salad wrap (nicoise I think). Just didn't have the right flavors. I go to Sweatleaf just about once a week, and I have never had a bad experience! Just about all the sandwiches and salads I have tried have been great, but you need to chose the right toppings. It can take some trial and error, but once you find the right combination you're set! I usually get the club and add pesto, mayo, lettuce, and tomatoes. It sounds like a strange combination with the pesto but it is absolutely delicious! They also give a discount to students (at certain times in the day), police, and fire and rescue personnel in uniform! Healthy, quick place to eat! My only complaint is it can be a little pricey with all the additional toppings! read more

Saw this place just opened up and had to try it. It was good but nothing that blew me away. I'm not sure if the product they're serving is organic or not. I did not see any sign stating it was.
