    Knafe Jibneh - soooo good!!

Finally a bakery that I can get some knafe near by!! This bakery is family owned and you can tell they take pride in their business. You walk in and everything is as clean and organized as it gets. Customer service is great and the knafe jibneh is so good! This saves me a 30 min drive when I'm in the mood for knafe. I'm so happy that they opened this place up! Definitely try this spot out if you're in the area!

This place in La Crescenta is such a delight! We tried the knefe, served warm with sugar syrup on the side--so good. The kerke and cookie were just as tasty, and they also have a nice collection of different baklavas and other Lebanese specialties that looked amazing. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The staff is kind and welcoming, and the space is spotless and inviting. A great spot for authentic pastries and sandwiches!

Found this bakery on Instagram and took a chance--so glad I did! The cake was exactly like the photo, beautifully packaged, absolutely delicious, and priced right. I want to gatekeep them, but they deserve all the love!

Basturma sandwich. Lebanese cured beef, tomato and pickles on a French roll.

I've had Sweet Leban's ham and cheese sandwich on a French roll and their basturma (cured beef) sandwich, and enjoyed both. (To go, only.) Their Middle Eastern cookies have delicious flavors. Try a selection to find your favorites. They also have Ashta brand ice cream (pistachio, strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, mango). I haven't tried their cakes or pastries. Friendly service and easy parking.

A delightful little bakery and cafe. I tried their barazek and one of their sandwiches. Both were impeccable -- the barazek in particular was wonderful and light, a sweet sesame treat that went well with coffee or dessert. The staff were courteous and friendly. I can't recommend them enough.

Good things in too far away to put in an additional order. I wouldn't order tbe other things in the box again but they weren't bad- just not as flavorful as my favorites. Can't wait to try them again.

Thank you for your response. I appreciate that you took the time to reply, but I believe your…read moreresponse misses the main issue. Good business etiquette is simple: when a business makes a mistake, it should acknowledge it, correct it immediately, sincerely apologize to the customer, and ensure the customer leaves satisfied. That builds trust and demonstrates accountability. Instead, much of your response focuses on explaining that the price tag may have been moved accidentally by staff or customers. Those are explanations, not accountability. This was one of the last two pieces left in the display, and the incorrect price tag should have been noticed well before my purchase. As I also stated in my response to the Agricultural Commissioner of Weights & Measures Inspector, I am almost certain that after I shared my experience and reviews on social media, the pricing discrepancies would have been already corrected. If that is the case, I genuinely hope those changes help make sure future customers are charged accurately and fairly. Regarding the Kyiv cake, my concern is relatively minimal compared to the pricing issue. It simply did not taste as good as it used to. It lacked the freshness and flavor we had previously enjoyed, and it tasted somewhat stale. This is the least of my concern. What concerns me most is the lack of accountability. Businesses earn customer loyalty by owning their mistakes, not by offering explanations for why they may have happened. A sincere apology, immediate correction and a commitment to making things right would have been a much more appropriate response.

Stopped by because I've been on an Armenian pastry trend at this time. I ended up grabbing some nazook, medium lahmajun, and also decided to give the beef khachapuri kabob a try as I haven't seen that offered at other spots I've tried. Service was quick and on point and the lahmajun did take about 10-15 minutes as they make them fresh. They have a pretty expansive patio where you can enjoy your goodies and hang out. Parking can be a bit of a challenge as it is mostly street parking, but I managed to snag a spot a few blocks away. As for the food, the nazook is amazing and better than a few other bakeries I've tried in Glendale. The lahmajun was also amazing and very flavorful with a good amount of meat. And lastly, the beef khachapuri kabob was amazing! It had that nice smoky charcoal flavor in the meat and worked well with the surrounding pastry. Definitely will be back again and bringing friends to this Glendale gem!

I'm literally walking and there valet due directed a car to damn drive into me and I literally had to say no he is not clear to go when I'm walking behind his car like he's just sitting there staring and directed him to drive into me. Interesting out of pedestrian. OK now I'm inside. I used to come here when I lived in the neighborhood and I would walk so I never really had these problems but it's like I walk in the door. It's constantly the rude customized they push you around they cut you in line they do not say excuse me. None of the staff is inviting at all and simple things like I'm ordering a chicken Gyro right above. It is a beef shawarma... I asked if I could substitute the chicken for beef instead because they're both served on pita bread one serve with hummus ones served with a white sauce. She told me now they don't have beef. They don't do beef like that and I'm like OK it's literally on your menu and I'm reading it to you and she just kept telling me no so you want a chicken Gyro no I don't want a chicken Gyro. I want a beef Gyro but I guess I'm getting forced to have a chicken one. So now I'm waiting 20min for a gyro? That's INSANE. I told her I would like to add a beverage. Will you need to go grab the drink that you want? I told her no I'm not gonna get back in the line because all of your customers in here are rude and they cut so she goes and grabs it cool things. I don't know. Just customer service here lax valet here dangerous. I say all the places in Glendale this one is in such an inconvenience spot in their manner on how they handle their clients isn't even worth coming here who does mediocre.

Always a pleasant experience at these bakeries. This Glendale bakery café was clean, bright, and beautifully organized with a large variety of pastries, cakes, and drinks on display. I tried the Strawberry Soft Cream Cake, Berries cake, Curry Croquette, and their signature iced Korean lattes. The pastries were soft and flavorful without being overly sweet, and the cakes looked just as good as they tasted. The curry croquette wasn't a favorite of mine. It was my first time trying and the spices didn't amaze my palette. I will have to try their garlic bread next time if I feel like getting something savory. Their sweets are always a hit for me! Overall, the staff was friendly and greeted customers warmly as they come in. Small parking lot at this location but still worth the wait. Good visit!

The stores are clean, the service is perfectly fine, and there's a wide selection of baked goods. That said, I find the pastries overpriced for what you get. Most of the items I've tried have been average at best, especially considering the premium prices. The pastel de nata was disappointing--I've had much better versions at local dim sum restaurants. The black coffee was also a letdown. It was so bitter that I needed to add milk to make it drinkable, and I'm someone who normally enjoys black coffee. Overall, it's a convenient option if you're nearby and there aren't any better bakeries around, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit.
