I stumbled across this place by meeting one of the groomers through a friend. My boy has always been a little more high anxiety and had some struggles in the past with grooming. But he loved it here! Sierra did a fantastic job on grooming my dog, paid attention to the little details and got him really cleaned up. Not only was the groom amazing, the price was even better. And when we left my dog seemed very happy, where as some other grooming places he seemed a bit traumatized. If I could give sweet on pets 6 stars I would. Thank you Sierra for taking great care of my boy and doing such a great job!

Sweet on Pets ⁩Disappointed in the service here. My munchkin has been here three times. The first time they accidentally cut his paw but it wasn't too bad so I let it go and went back because the person was kind and patient with my difficult little munchkin. The second time they messed up his hair and there was cut lines and his hair was uneven but still they seemed to be kind and patient with him because he's super nervous about being left at the groomers. The last time the young lady was amazing with him, said he had no issues and was a really good boy. We moved 30 miles away but continued to bring him here because I didn't want to have him have to start over with a new place. He had an appointment today and as usual he was nervous and didn't want to stay. This was not new, I have to leave and he slowly comes around and gets his bath and cut. Except today the lady I think owns the place made a big deal of it and refused to see him, than said he would need sedation medication to come back. She was dramatically acting like my 15 pound munchkin was going to kill her. I understand no wants any dog growling at them, but he is tiny and always calms down once I'm gone. He is four and has never done more than growling and bark. This was not her first time having him. It was extremely disappointing and frustrating, especially after driving an hour to bring him. If you are this nervous around a dog this is probably the wrong business for you. I do not recommend this business at all and next time I will not be so understanding and continue to give a business chances. I will say the groomer Madi is very good at what she does and amazing with dogs. It's unfortunate this is where she works. Of course you have the right to refuse a dog. The point is, you refused a 15 pound dog who had been groomed there multiple times because he was nervous and growled at you. You were extra dramatic and screamed like he was going to attack you. You did not try anything, you said you would allow me to leave him while waiting outside like we did the first time and as soon as I got to the door you made a show of screaming and jumping at his growling. In the end I'm glad you behaved this way because I wouldn't want him mistreated. After checking you are the groomer that cut his paw and the one who left lines and cut him uneven. I complained to Mandi last time about this and I'm guessing that is why you behaved so unprofessionally. If you or any groomer is afraid of a nervous 15 pound dog you have groomed before, you need to find a new career. You should have declined to give me an appointment instead of wasting my day and gas today. Next time be an adult and just tell the person you prefer not to provide grooming to their pet instead of being so rude and nasty to say the least 15 pound pup needs to be sedated. Absolutely absurd! Especially from someone working with dogs. Wow, what you did was terrible and your need to have the last word shows the type of person you are. You have literally added to your comment every day adding more and more how aggressive my 15 pound sweet pup is. It's insane that for a four year old pup it was only an issue with you. And you blatantly lied that you did not groom him to attempt to throw the poor work on your groomers. Way to lead! Funny, his extreme dangerous and scary aggression you speak of was not an issue the three previous times you groomed him. In fact it was not an issue until I commented on what a poor job YOU did grooming him! The lady that groomed him Monday at his new groomer had no issues with him either. Maybe he sensed you were not safe. Beware leaving your pup in the care of this women. People unwilling to own up to their mistakes and quick to throw others under the bus are dangerous. Anyone so quick to say a pup needs to be sedated should not be working with animals. Photo 1 of 1

The best dog groomer. We have two Great Pyrenees. I trust her. She does an amazing job. Five stars in everything that she does. Candi does an amazing job with the dogs and has amazing customer service. Great communications. Amazing prices. The only place our dogs go. Please support small businesses like this one. I will add pictures of Capone soon. The pictures are of Sully.

First trip in was a crazy one really didn't know where the shop was in the lil center they are in, so when we pulled in the parking lot it had began to sprinkle. HA HA it was Oregon in late April!! Well I'm disabled & walk with a walker. My girlfriend at the time was in a sling for a fractured L upper arm. Well we started up the sidewalk only to be greeted by 4 steps, so Tinkerbell had to hitch a ride on my walker seat & by now it was a full Thunder & Hail storm but my girl friend got to stay dry. I was out in the parking lot & saw this man made walkway that looked pretty unsafe even for a normal human. But the owner Candy saw me trying to walk up this "ramp" & ran out in the storm & grabbed Tink got her under cover & in a dry locale & came back to help me, by now I was totally drenched, So was Candy LOL!! Now Tink only has 1 eye from being abused & can be a bit nippy when getting her nails clipped from our last groomer anyways. Candy trimmed her nails in about 10 minutes & we never heard 1 whimper from her the entire time. When we walked in they were working on 2 dogs & by the time we were ready to pay & leave the place was wall to wall dogs & cats. People you looking for a place to get your furbaby pampered while getting their nails trimmed~~ look no further than SWEET ON PETS

They were great with my little old man who is very anxious and the prices were reasonable. We'll definitely go back there with my Muppet.

First of all, when my dog showed signs of distress, the groomer immediately started scolding her, as if she was taking her stress out on my dog. Like, WTF? When I tried to step in, she walked toward the door to the back room which was super sus. I could tell the other groomer, who was working on another dog, noticed how bad the situation was getting and stepped in to help hold my dog. So I continued to monitor what was happening. When she finished, she walked toward me with a defensive attitude and said she "trimmed one of the nails too short, but it's not bleeding so it's fine." WTF? I asked her to show me which nail she meant, and she couldn't even identify it. When I saw it, it was trimmed really short and clearly looked painful. No wonder my dog was in distress. Then, as soon as I got into the car, I noticed bleeding on her back paw. I ran back in and told them my dog was bleeding, and again she got defensive, saying "Where? Where?" and tried to yank my dog's paws to check herself. When she finally saw the bleeding, she grabbed some kind of ointment or quick-stop powder and said, "Accidents happen." Uh, no. This wasn't an accident, it was incompetence. Honestly, her license should be reconsidered given her hostility toward animals and lack of technical skill. There was even more BS that came out of her mouth, but I won't bother including it here. Someone like her should not be handling pets at all. I was speechless at how unprofessional she was -- and even more shocked to learn that she is one of the owners, based on the photo here on Yelp. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Ever since our regular groomer left it has gone from a 4 to a 3 and if they weren't so darn nice, clean and local it would be less than a 3. So here we go- Last several grooms they miss stuff, no biggy, I just go back and trim some small things up- they are dogs and moving around so I get it but my dog I know is sweet and docile so I think she is on the easier side although her hair is so kinkly curly that adds the element of hard (I am trying to be really gracious to here) but today, we picked her up and after having to shave her ears from matting she has a cut on each ear and bleeding and no one said one word so we are pretty disappointed. She is clearly uncomfortable because she isn't acting herself. Matting on her is on me, it happens sometimes even when we brush her alot....this is the first time they have ever had to shave her ears! Super disappointed that no one noticed or said anything. Again, everyone is nice, it is very clean and I do love that they have her in and out in like 90 min but they need to pay attention to the details and communicate better, especially for well over $100 appt every 6+ weeks of going there. ***Update*** Owner reached out, said they didn't see any blood but sometimes when you have that close to this area of skin shaved it can bleed, not from a cut though. And cuts happen, we get it! No one would have seen the blood unless they looked inside her ear so I want to clarify it wasn't a cut as far as we understand and we don't think they were careless w/ our pup, actually the opposite, they are very caring which is why we go there. So now that we are a day later I think my only feedback would have been that it would have been nice to be made aware this CAN happen so we were prepared and not worried when we saw the blood, super simple! We are lay people & not experts in grooming procedures around matting and what can happen. We will work harder on the ears to make sure this can be avoided in the future, it is the first time her ears had to be shaved so after 3 years we are still learning how to manage this girls kinkly curly coat. My husband thinks maybe I should have given them more time to respond but I had 2 bleeding ears and couldn't reach anyone by phone, text or email and I should have not had to wait hours to understand what was happening.
