Ate here earlier today the AYCE menu was huge, and the food was delicious. Since Covid I haven't been able to find a good AYCE spot but this place definitely hit all marks. The service was also phenomenal, waitress checked in every time we cleared out or items and asked if we wanted more. The food at this place is decent and I used to eat here quite often until I had a bad experience with a server. The server actually followed me to my car and told me I forgot to put in the tip. As a customer I tip when I receive decent to exceptional service, but it if I have to look for someone everytime I need something it's frustrating. When told him the lady helped me more than he did he got even more upset. At an AYCE where you have to order everytime I would expect that you would check up on us or at least be in line of sight not having to ask other servers for my server everytime and it wasn't busy AT all they're were maybe 4 table split between the 2 servers. Can't believe I have not wrote a review of Oyshi. They sometimes have a wait but it goes pretty quick. Oyshis fish is always really fresh. Peter is always a great pleasure to talk to and has awesome recommendations. They do have a chefs special menu which they change every so often. Their appetizers are really good, really recommend the surf and turf, baked muscle, pork belly skewers and the fried and steamed gyoza. They have a lot of delicious rolls as well. Although we were seated fairly quickly despite being on the waitlist, the overall service was painfully slow. Somehow, the dessert arrived faster than our next sushi order! By the time the sushi order arrived, we were already done with our dessert. At that point, it was not appetizing to eat sushi. Prior to dessert, I ordered Japanese Lasagna roll, which is one of my favorite at an AYCE sushi place. Somehow this restaurant messed up the taste. It did not taste anything like Japanese lasagna...I couldn't even finish the rolls on the plate. I also ordered the lobster fair roll, and it was one of the blandest rolls I ever had. Not even soy sauce could save it. The only decent roll I had was the tiger roll. My boyfriend enjoys the salmon here, so there are some fresh options. But strangely, the restaurant ran out of salmon belly when it was barely dinner service at 6 PM! How is this AYCE without adequate amounts of sushi from the menu?? Went there for a Father's Day, no waiting line no reservations- for the last minute plans. Haven't been there for a couple of years, because I wanted to try another places, but this place is fair enough. A.Y.C.E sushi is definitely worth it, you can order two orders of oysters which is great consider some other places don't even have Oysters or if they have it is only one order. Garlic tuna, albacore, seared salmon, shrimp tempura are the must. Poke salad was disappointing because they only offer like 5 pieces of tuna, and cucumber salad wasn't great because it was mixed with peanut I think so it wasn't my favorite. But everything else was great, miso soup and sunrise roll was great. Se Service was great, the only thing was bad they last call on Sunday is on 9.30 which I think is weird. On a Friday night, my friends and I decided last minute to do AYCE somewhere in Las Vegas, and as a local, I should've known... everywhere is packed! We ended up at Oyshi. We got on the wait list, said 15 to 30 mins wait, then it changed to 45 mins. We finally got seated. For an AYCE place, the food is better than most places. It's not the standard but above it. They have a specialty wall. My favorite was the truffle tako. You can find things here that are unique and damn delicious! The sashimi is super fresh. The problem with our visit was that food wasn't coming out. We had to wait over 10 to 15 mins per dish, and for an AYCE place, it's a problem, I got full after about 3 dishes. The food needs to come out continuously. Our server was amazing, though! We still tipped over 20%. I do want to come back, hoping they can fix this tiny request! read more

From the point of view of my wife: Let me be clear: I've been coming to this restaurant for 18 years. Nearly two decades. I've celebrated milestones here, brought out-of-town guests here, and supported this place through thick and thin. So when I finally got my appetite back after weeks of brutal pregnancy-related nausea, I chose this restaurant first. And it turned out to be the biggest mistake I could've made. My husband walked in ahead of me and quietly asked the staff if we could be allowed to order half rolls at a table -- something normally reserved for bar seating -- because I'm pregnant and sitting at the bar is physically uncomfortable. The staff member said it was no problem. My husband came out, helped me inside, and we sat down. Then Head Chef Ryan stormed up to our table and humiliated me in front of the entire restaurant. He raised his voice and said: "If we made exceptions for every pregnant woman with an excuse, we'd have to make exceptions for everyone." And then, looking me in the eye, added: "If you're pregnant..." As if I was lying. As if carrying a child and asking for a previously approved accommodation was some kind of con. The tone, the condescension, the absolute lack of empathy -- it was disgusting. What kind of business allows their head chef to accuse women of faking pregnancy in public? I have never been so shocked and degraded at a restaurant -- and that includes chains with far less prestige. This wasn't a bad moment. This was hostile, targeted, and intentional. To ownership and upper management: If you don't address this, you're complicit. You've lost a loyal customer, and I will make it my mission to ensure others know how women -- pregnant women -- are treated in your restaurant when they dare to ask for a little understanding.
