On Mother's Day, they gave away a mini bouquet of flowers and a pint of ice cream. Unfortunately, I wasn't one of the first ten that also got a nice glass jar to store goodies in. I did see some people walk about with just the freebies and that was kind of annoying to see. I think they should have at least purchased something. They should have restricted the freebies to customers only. I ended up gifting the free non-vegan option to my mother (she loved it) and my hubby bought me a vegan pint for myself. Inside there is no seating but they have 2 benches outside. While there is a small parking lot in the back, the parking lot gets full quickly and street parking can be tricky. Their ice cream is really tasty and they even decorate your ice cream with extra toppings like sprinkles and vegan marshmallows. This is one of our new favorite ice cream shops!

Some of the flavors sounded a little unexpected at first, but every one we tried was delicious and thoughtfully crafted. You can tell they put a lot of care into creating flavors that are both fun and memorable. My personal favorite was the Banana Pancake flavor. It perfectly captured the comforting taste of a warm stack of pancakes and bananas, with just the right balance of sweetness. It was rich, creamy, and perfectly flavored like chocolate chip banana pancakes. My boyfriend had the Three Strikes flavor, which is a creamy peanut butter with peanut brittle, it was also delicious. We tried both flavors together and they both went really well together. The shop itself has a welcoming atmosphere, and the rotating selection of flavors makes it a place you'll want to visit more than once. If you're in Oceanside and looking for something beyond the typical ice cream shop, Little Fox is definitely worth stopping by. Whether you're feeling adventurous or just want a great scoop of ice cream, you're likely to find a flavor you'll love.

I would happily make questionable life decisions for another scoop of it. But honestly, what made this experience stand out wasn't just the gelato--it was Venezia. Huge shoutout to her for being so patient while we stood there completely incapable of making a decision. Instead of rushing us, she took the time to help us figure out what flavors we actually wanted and gave us recommendations that absolutely did not miss. She was incredibly sweet, genuinely welcoming, and made the whole experience so much better. And listen, this place is about an hour drive for me. An HOUR. Yet I'm already planning my return trip because the quality of the gelato and the service made it 100% worth it. If you're anywhere near this place, do yourself a favor and stop by. The gelato is ridiculously creamy, packed with flavor, and made with the kind of quality you can taste immediately. Dare I say it... the creaminess might even be better than An's Gelato . 10/10. Came for the gelato, left wanting to be friends with Venezia

I purchased a Toffee latte that tasted good. My only complaint was that it was a whole two knuckles short for $6.95. I would think it would be at least to the top of brim. Also, be very careful. It was so hot that it burnt my tongue. There were two people working and it took about 10 minutes for me to get my coffee. I tried the White chocolate chip cookies but they just were not that flavorful, yet they were huge in size. Just bland. My daughter asked a local, is there anything really good that we should try. His response was, HMMMM some things are good some and others not so much. She decided not to get anything. The place was very busy on Saturday at 4 PM. Since it was kind of new at the time, when I come back in Nov this year, I will go back out and try again. The restaurant was clean and tidy.

As soon as you walk through the entrance gate, you are transported to a lovely tea garden. We did make reservations ahead as it is reservation only. Rushell greeted us and we were quickly seated. We chose the La Dolce Vita Tea Experience. We were able to sniff the tea leaves first in individual test tubes which absolutely helped me pick my tea. I loved that experience! Once everything was selected, we were brought out our teas and salads. The salad was refreshing and I especially enjoyed the fresh tomatoes, garbanzo beans, and house vinaigrette. I had the Eiffel tea and absolutely loved it. I typically prefer black teas with either hints of floral or fruit notes and this tea had the perfect combination. We were then given our individual towers/ tea tiers which consisted of three sandwiches (smoked salmon pinwheels, apple Brie melt, and Prosciutto, Feta And Balsamic Fig Sandwich) of our choosing, a cranberry orange cake scone with creme Fraîche and strawberry preserves, and a trio of desserts (lemon cake with blueberries, petite four, and a rosemary shortbread). I honestly loved everything I ordered. I loved the cake scone as it was very moist and the sandwiches were all divine with powerful flavors in each bite. I didn't love the creme fraîche, as I prefer clotted cream with my scones, but it does offer a great break from sweetness of the cake scone. I especially enjoyed how toasted the Apple Brie melt was. I love short breads and petite fours, so I'm a bit biased but they were my favorite desserts. Not only did we have a lovely time due to the atmosphere, tea, and delicious food, but we thoroughly enjoyed Rushell herself! She was so welcoming and shared so much with us. Happy to always support local and especially women-owned businesses. I can't wait to go back!

We got the vanilla soft serve along with the bag of churros, which contains three of them. They came out piping hot and fresh, covered and that delicious cinnamon sugar. There was a large lot maybe 1 block away that we parked at and then walked in from there. Inside, there was a line but it moved pretty fast. The donuts on display look so gooddd, we had to try one even though I was originally there for coffee. Person behind the donut area was really nice with great customer service! Cashier was the same! They have a little water stand you can get some water from too which was nice after chowing down on the donut. The donut itself was so good. Right amount of fluffiness and taste and crispiness. I smiled and commented on the donuts and that broke their gossipy reverie. One immediately walked away like she couldn't be bothered to work, only a paid gossiper. There was no one in the store other than me. She rung me up with a flat attitude like she just got out of jail and was miserable. Her name is Bre. I ordered a dirty chai. With two other items. She wouldn't give a to go box like they usually do. It came off super cheap. She told me to just cover it with a lid even tho I told her I had a dog in the car that would eat it and it was chocolate sprinkle. Traditionally they stop and make the coffee and then move on to the next guest. She was in a really bad mood so she kept taking donut orders until about 5 guests deep. Then she got 2 other coffee orders so she stopped to make coffee. About 10 to 15 minutes after I paid for my other order she makes my dirty chai. A kid and a mom are right by the counter. The kid grabs my drink and spills it on the counter and on the floor. She sees this. It's right in front of her. She says oh no that's not yours. Then she wipes it off and tries to pass it off to me like I didn't see. I said no, you're not going to re make it? She goes no, it's not my fault he spilled it. I was like I want a refund. She goes why. I'm like the drink spilled and you didn't even offer or try to remake it. This place had really gone downhill. Service is awful. The donuts look nice but they've been sitting out and are stale. The same with crossaint I had. I would not go back here anymore. Awful experience. Drove out of my way to come here today. It's a shame. This place used to be really friendly and fresh and top of the line customer service, Management needs to rework things before they completely go downhill but it seems they are already there.
