Drove by and saw a random sign for "giant gourmet cookies" so we decided to turnaround and check it out. The exterior isn't very inviting but the inside smells heavenly! There were about 8 different flavor options. I went with traditional chocolate chip and a white chocolate fundetti. They are huge and delicious. So gooey on the inside! These cookies are heavenly and I'd definitely recommend everyone to stop in.

Ordered from here on Postmates and our cookies arrived rock hard, FROZEN in these plastic bags.... If that's the case then please WRITE THAT IN THE DESCRIPTION. You need to let people know what they are going to receive. Nowhere on your page did it say that these cookies will arrive in that condition. But you don't do that because you know people would be less likely to order from you. Had I known that I was going to receive frozen rock hard cookies I never would have ordered from your company. There were also zero instructions as to how to heat them up. We weren't even sure if they were fully cooked. Do we put them in the oven to be cooked more? Or is microwave ok? I didn't like this experience at all. Customers appreciate transparency! Let them know what they will actually be receiving. Oh My Sweetness! You have never experienced such a treat as these unbelievably delicious massive home baked cookies! I had ordered 8 cookies sent to my husbands office and WOW they did not disappoint! First, the delivery was cheap and easy and great customer service, secondly the cookies!! I can not rave enough about this place! Huge, moist, fresh chocolate chip whoppers of a cookie and the amazing butterscotch pretzels were the best massive homemade cookies I've ever tasted! Performed a Reddit search for best shipped cookies and this one came up. Man oh man am I happy that we tried them! From Indiana and the delivery was fast. Cannot wait to try more flavors. I got these shipped to me. It was very fast and they still tasted so fresh. They are very big and the price is great. They look exactly like they do on the site. Flavor is really good and the consistency/texture is amazing. My favorite was a tie between the Chocolate and PB & Cookies N' Cake Cream. The chocolate dough is perfect and the buttercream filling in the other was is so tasty. The Dark Chocolate and Pretzel & Snickerdoodle were also great ones. I'm not a coffee fan and didn't realize the Brownie Buzz has coffee flavor in it so it wasn't my favorite but the brownie in the middle was awesome. I discovered these cookies after a sponsored ad came up on Facebook. I ordered 4 cookies (S'mores, Classic Chocolate, Reese's, and Oatmeal Chocolate).?I ordered on Monday and got them Wednesday. The bakery is not too far (maybe a 2 hour drive), so one day, I may have to go to the storefront. In any case, I only sampled a 1 oz chunk of each cookie, but loved them all. Popped them in the microwave for about 5 seconds. I froze the rest, so I'll be able to enjoy in the future. First off, I would like to start this review by saying that the hospitality here was fabulous! We really loved this local businesses and the packaging was super thoughtful. There was, however, one shortcoming. My three friends and boyfriend did a blind taste test comparing the following Sweet Thang flavors: chocolate chip, caramel oreo crunch and chocolate and peanut butter to similar crumbl cookie flavors. While Sweet Thang's chocolate chip was the clear winner, there were clean sweeps for crumbl's cookies and creams and peanut butter brownie. Absolutely the best cookie I've ever had. Recently ordered for my daughter's shower, and everyone raved! Each flavor cookie they offer is out of this world. We are bakery that specializes in making giant, gooey, gourmet cookies. We offer about 30 different selections that we rotate through regularly. You can come into our storefront to purchase the cookies from us directly, or order delivery through Doordash (link on our website), or you can place an order through our website for shipping or pickup pre-orders.

History

Established in 2018.

In 2018, after we had our first child, Momma Mia was infected by the maternal baking bug. She produced a batch of the Chocolate Chip cookies and we said it was "The best cookie we have ever tasted!" This is was no small compliment since David had worked in the food industry for over a decade. So, Mia started a part-time baking business which became a huge hit. More recipes started being developed and the positive feedback continued. Between Mia's talent as a baker and David's long-run in food management, it was clear we were onto something. With the family moving back to David's hometown of Jupiter in 2020 we decided the cookies were so wonderful that we wanted to start a full-time baking business. Sweet Thang Baked Goods was formed. We guarantee you'll love our cookies! As of June 2020, we operate a bakery storefront where we sell cookies both out of our store as well as ship nationwide.

Meet the Business Owner: David, Mia, Luka, Esme M.

David, a native of Jupiter, just finished up a career in the hospitality industry where he managed restaurants in Nashville, San Antonio, Phoenix, and Scottsdale. Mama Mia is the baking enthusiast whose diligence in the kitchen created the wonderful cookies that you are about to fall in love. Luka is a rambunctious 2 year-old who helps taste the cookie dough. Esme is too young to even taste the cookie dough, so just looks cute and takes a lot of naps.

Great mixture of select wine and foods from Italy. Sylvia was so nice and informative; offering wine to pair with our orders along with detailed explanations of Italian cooking and courtier. We were the only ones dining for lunch so we had a lovely time. The food parade started with the Zucchini Blossom (filled with mozzarella cheese) - OMG was that delicious. On to the next tapa was the Summer Capri - OMG 2 with an 18yo balsamic. Next up was the Pizza Alta Pisana - hands down THE BEST pizza we've EVER had. Made with the same 72hr dough as the Focaccia and with grated parmigiana cheese instead of mozzarella. Half with capers and drizzled with EVOO. Sylvia suggested Moscato for my sweet tooth queen and me a cab blend that was hearty without the sulfates. For the grand finale, we had homemade Profiteroles with cream and dark chocolate. Grand slam! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FINE ESTABLISHMENT for lunch or dinner. Call for reservations Thank you Franco and Sylvia - we'll see you soon
