Ambler proper omelet (mushrooms swapped for green peppers)
    Amy P.

Omelet was pretty good, great egg to filling ratio. Well cooked as well. To each their own, but I liked that they buttered my toast for me. Only criticism is that I wish the home fries were crispy. Service was good and the outdoor seating was nice. Casual little neighborhood spot.

Was craving a sweet treat and stopped by this place after having dinner nearby. Loved the environment...the outdoor area had a large take-out window. There is also some seating there and on the adjacent lawn. I was happy to see lots of ice cream flavors to choose from...though I was a bit disappointed with the minimal chocolate flavored options available at that time. I ended up getting a small vanilla almond which I thought was okay. The prices are very fair for the various sizes. Staff was very efficient. Lots of street parking in the immediate area.

Sweet Briar Cafe serves delicious ice-cream outside and filling meals inside. Their outside patio has a few tables with umbrellas for the sunny days this summer as well as some smaller tables. While their outside is a nice size, the inside eating space is a bit on the smaller size. From the times that I have been here, the service has always been professional. The waitress that served us didn't seem to be bothered by us asking for mayonnaise on the side or by us spilling the bill in the past. Sweet Briar serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner which I appreciate. For lunch, our meal was very well cooked. The fries and chicken tenders were crispy. With the burger being cooked to liking. I enjoyed the food, service, and ambiance here. The only downside is it feels a little cramped when inside and the food may take some time to get to you. Still recommend Review from Sophia. @TastyBitesbySophia on instagram.

Great brunch on a fabulous Fall Sunday! I got the eggs Benedict, and my daughter got the pumpkin pancakes special. Both delish!!

Sweetbriar Cafe is my favorite restaurant in the Greater Philadelphia area. Every meal I've had there was excellent. Our usual go-to is the burger of the week with sweet potato fries (always very crispy and tasty). The various toppings they offer with their weekly specials are full of complementary flavor. Their desserts are excellent too - so many different flavors of milkshakes for whatever mood you are in. All of this at very reasonable prices. I can't recommend this place enough!

We recently used them to to cater a party and they did not disappoint. The food was delicious and it was all around a good experience.

Honestly, this place just feels good the second you walk in but quick heads up, you'll want to make…read morea reservation. It gets busy, and now I understand why. You can tell Daniel (the owner) actually cares about how everything runs. The place is clean, organized, and everything flows smoothly without feeling rushed. And Christina... she's seriously the best. Super friendly, easy to talk to, and actually helps guide you through the menu. She was on point with the specials and made great recommendations. We even got into a conversation about her trip to Peru, which was a really cool touch it felt natural, not forced, and made the whole experience better. We started with the Leche de Tigre, and it was a perfect opener, fresh, citrusy, and packed with flavor. You get that brightness from the lime with just the right kick, plus the calamari added a nice texture. We also tried one of the specials, the causa, which was light but still full of flavor and a great way to start. For the mains, we went all in. The Cowboy Steak (18 oz bone-in ribeye) was easily the highlight, cooked right, super flavorful, and paired with the huancaína risotto and that huacatay butter... yeah, that combo is no joke. We also had the pollo a la brasa (special, marinated 24 hours), and you can tell it was super juicy, well-seasoned, and done right. We also had the pasta con mariscos, and this one deserves its own mention. Homemade pasta with shrimp, calamari, and mussels in a chupe-style tomato broth rich, flavorful, and comforting without feeling too heavy. Definitely one of those dishes you keep going back to. And I'm not even exaggerating... the table bread with the butter? We were eating like it was part of the main course. That butter is ridiculously good. Dessert sealed it. The lava cake with lucuma ice cream was warm, rich, and balanced out perfectly by the ice cream. We also tried the house-made guanábana sorbet, which was light, refreshing, and the perfect way to finish after a heavy meal. The vibe is what really ties it all together. It's casual enough to hang out with friends and talk, but still nice enough for a date night or bringing family. It doesn't try too hard, and that's exactly why it works. Overall, everything just clicked: food, service, atmosphere. No weak spots. Definitely coming back. This version is clean, structured, and reads like someone who actually understands what they're talking about, not just listing food.

It's on a metered street, but there's a small parking lot a couple doors down, which helps. The space is nice, and Leslie (one of the owners) was super friendly and engaging. I got a pralines and cream/vanilla sundae really good, but $12 caught me off guard. Next time I'd skip the hot topping since it melted the ice cream too fast. The milkshakes (mint chocolate chip and cookies & cream/cookie dough) were really good. They also have pretzels, pretzel pizza, cookies, and plan to add more items. They have outdoor seating and even pop out to block parties and events with popcorn machines, water ice and other items which is a nice touch. They also offer churro fries which I can't wait to try the next time. I believe they may have funnel cake fries, or something like that and ice cream sandwiches gelati. You can also get them on DoorDash and Uber eats although I don't know how you would get ice cream DoorDash and Uber eats, but I guess they haven't figured out. Overall, we enjoyed it and will definitely be back. Today the 4th of April I went back to try their water ice. I got the passion fruit mango. It cost me $7. I thought that was pretty high. I don't know what the going rate in the area is, but I will say this, I don't like Ritas anymore. Their water ice no soon as you get it, It melts. CJs water ice held up. It just melted just a little. It had great flavor. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I also ordered the funnel cake fries. They were so delicious and the cashier Brooklyn assisted me she was so polite and nice.
