It was my first time experiencing an all-you-can-eat buffet in Dublin, and I have to say it left a great impression. We went for Sunday lunch, which was priced at $43.99, and I was pleasantly surprised that they included dinner menu items like steak and lobster (They are cooked fresh while you wait). While the lobster wasn't unlimited, you could add one lobster tail for $6, which I thought was a reasonable option. One of the highlights for me was the hotpot station--it was actually my first time ever seeing hotpot offered at an AYCE buffet, and it made the experience feel more unique and interactive. I also really appreciated the self-serve beverage machine, which made it super convenient to refill drinks whenever we wanted. On top of that, they had a selection of bottled drinks in the fridge, and even milk tea, which was a nice bonus you don't usually see at buffets. As for the food, there was a wide variety to choose from. I especially enjoyed the steak, which was flavorful and cooked well, along with the sushi and seafood options. They also had a good selection of Chinese dishes that complemented everything nicely. Overall, the variety and quality of the food made it feel like a great value for the price. It turned out to be a fun and memorable way to celebrate my brother's birthday. I really enjoyed the experience and would definitely come back again in the future.

The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, except for one of our chairs that had food spilled on it, but no one seemed to have noticed or cleaned it. The food was decent, with options like Malatang noodles and beef-style noodles. We had a total of 12 people, and they charged an 8% service fee. Our bill came to $509.48, which was reasonable considering the amount of food we had.

5* Food 5* Service 5*…read moreAmbiance I want to return and try every single item on their menu! From the moment you walk through the doors, you are instantly made to feel joyfully welcomed. Just stepping in lifts your spirit and creates joy. The thoughtful decor and beautiful design immediately stand out, creating a special atmosphere, even if you are simply meeting friends for lunch on a weekday. I never expected to find such a stunning restaurant tucked into a shopping strip in the heart of San Ramon. One Hour Bistro is truly a delightfull find. The same attention to detail reflected in the decor is also evident in the quality of the ingredients and the incredible flavors of each dish. Crystal glasses in a Thai restaurant? YES! They also offer mocktails which I wish I had time to try and savor. I ordered the Kao Soi Braised Short Ribs, and it was absolutely stunning; beautifully presented, generously portioned, and deeply comforting. The rich broth, tender bone-in ribs, and flavorful noodles made every bite memorable. I couldn't even finish the entire dish because I wanted to savore it slowly. The Pad See Ew was a silky, heavenly treat. The rice noodles were succulent, the vegetables were fresh, and everything was coated in a rich, flavorful sauce. If your driving through San Ramon, this is a MUST try. If you live in the area, lucky you!

I have been CRAVING (!!!!) a few of the items on the menu! The calamari, scallops, lobster - chef's kiss! The steak? Mouthwatering. I know this is a seafood restaurant, but our waiter advised the ownership is the same as Forbes Mill (also in Danville) and if you've ever been there, you know it's probably the best steak that you can find in the east bay, and the steak at Tides is the same quality. Despite going on Valentine's Day when it was extremely busy, our waiter and the kitchen did a fantastic job. We never felt like service suffered and they were incredibly on top of everything from start to finish. Our waiter gave us amazing recommendations from food items, to cocktails, and wine pairings, and was just so warm and friendly. The restaurant itself is so nicely decorated and I love the modern and trendy take. Given the location, I was expecting it to have a more traditional aesthetic, and I'm so impressed with the direction they went with it. The entire vibe of the restaurant is great and this is definitely a stand out place in the area. I am counting down the days until I go back!

We shared sliders, truffled fries and crispy calamari plus we each got a Mai Tai. The portions were decent for HH. The drinks were strong even though it was HH pricing. It's like high end middle of the mall food that's way overpriced. For the steak I got (New York) I get it exactly how I want from my local butcher, organic, grass fed, and can guarantee it will be cooked right, but hey that's what eating out is all about nowdays right? The sides were all mids, hard to mess up Brussels sprouts so those were as expected, the twice baked potato has waterey, and the fires were on the line of couldnt tell if they were frozen, or just some midsy potatoes. When I eat out I expect the whole experience. 3 people at $600 I expect a 4 everytime. The only thing worth it was the service. Didn't get her name but the young lady who served us was very attentive and got us everything we asked for, and was so sweet when my wife couldn't decide to on her desert to comp us the one she was battling over. All the deserts were dry and mids. The almond cake needed to be eaten with gulps of water and the cheese cake was just weird. The drinks were nice and an easy 4/5 and I'd recommend the one I was drinking with myself a mezcal and pineapple, not sure whey everyone else was drinking but they like them too. Finally I'll bring up my son's meal. He's 3. He's only been to 2 places where he didn't eat the fries and burger. This was the 2nd. All in all I'd go again if someone invited me and I didn't have to pay. That's all this place is worth. Pretty sad because steak houses are pretty easy. We've been to hundreds of them around the world and it's sad to see someone mess it up as bad as this place did.

We informed the receptionist and our server; both were courteous, professional, and accommodating. We received our food shortly after placing our orders. The charm of the restaurant is endearing, which made our short lunch enjoyable. The food was good and convenient for a business lunch. The beef ravioli was delicious and filling. The gnocchi was not as we hoped it would be. The texture of the gnocchi was dense and heavy, but the sauce was savory and creamy. I would love to return and try other items on the menu to have a better understanding of other items. This charming spacious restaurant has a lot of love.

The server seemed confused and just left the entrées sitting off to the side. My wife ordered the Chicken Parmesan, and the pasta appeared to have been sitting under a heat lamp for quite a while -- much of it was dried out around the edges. We sent the Chicken Parm back and declined a replacement, but it took so long for the plate to be cleared that I had already finished my pasta by the time it was addressed. The timing completely threw off our meal and left us both frustrated. We also asked twice for more bread and dipping sauce and never received it. It made for a very disappointing Valentine's Day. This used to be our go-to spot for a nice dinner, but after this experience, we'll likely be looking elsewhere.
