They've always greeted me and are very quick to check me out and help with anything I need!! They always have flavors in stock here, nothing is usually out of order except for maybe one time I went but I assume this was a bad day since as I said, I've been here so many times and this is usually never an issue!! Toppings are always stocked, neatly organized, and well kept which I can really appreciate as someone with allergies, I don't ever have to worry about things being mixed! The atmosphere is very chill and relaxing, exactly what you would expect from a stereotypical sweet frog, but this location is especially well kept and friendly which is always appreciated :) I see families in here ALL THE TIME!! I had vacationed at Virginia Beach and first discovered Sweet Frog on my first time vacationing at the Oceanfront. Since then, I have retired and moved from New York to Chesapeake, Virginia. This particular frozen dessert location is found on Volvo Parkway just off Battlefield Blvd ( North). Parking isn't an issue and the store is located amongst in a strip of stores. This establishment was relatively clean and offered several flavors. My wife and I had their no sugar added cheesecake frozen yogurt. They also offer a wide variety of dry ingredient toppings. The only negative I can relay isn't strictly against this location specifically. It's a bit expensive. So just keep in mind that prices are based on weight.. so loading up your dessert may cost you. Our favorite froyo spot--worth every penny! Our family hits up this sweetFrog at least once a week, and it's the best location around--not all sweetFrogs compare! The flavor choices are awesome, with something for everyone. My kids love trying new ones, and the new Butterfinger flavor just stole the top spot from my usual Cookies and Cream and Cake Batter--please keep it! The toppings bar is always fully stocked, and the place is consistently clean, which makes every visit great. I should start by saying that I am partial to Sweet Frog because I like frozen yogurt more than ice cream. There are always at least 10 different flavors for your liking, ranging from chocolate, mango, original tart, cookies and cream, cotton candy or cheesecake. Popped in here on a last minute whim and enjoyed seeing that there was cake batter froyo- one of my favorites! They seemed to have quite a few options for flavors and plenty of toppings. All very clean inside. I was a little disappointed in the fact that the gummy bears I had gotten were very hard (not due to the cold) , and the cookie dough bites were warm. I really, really like this frozen yogurt place. They have the largest selection of yogurt types (including no sugar added, fat free and lactose free) and topping choices. The no sugar added cheesecake is SO good! Plenty of candies and sauces, fresh (seriously.. really fresh) fruit and nuts and the unusual bubble looking things that I don't feel cool enough to know about. It's been very busy every time I've stopped in, but the self serve aspect doesn't make it obnoxiously busy. They also have some outdoor seating. Love FROYO and love this location! Very clean and super sanitary. Other frozen yogurt locations are definitely not as sanitary during these Covid times. Sweet Frog had a box of plastic gloves at the cup station which I LOVE! You grab a cup with the glove and then you can use your glove to serve the yogurt. All of the toppings are behind a protective barrier and the staff places toppings on your yogurt. I get so much anxiety at other places because everyone is touching the spoons so I really appreciated the added layer of protection for everyone! Great variety of flavors and huge topping station. Stopped in there Tonight at about 930! There were two girls working. And there was 3 other groups of people there. The one girl was mopping the floors Told us to move so she could finish mopping. There was no where to sit or stand because "she was mopping" getting the ice cream was awkward because it felt like the employees were rushing and we could add certain things because the other emplyee started cleaning the trays. When I asked if we could sit a table due to them mopping she rolled her eyes And just said sure. The other employee started throwing all the spoons in a tray like she was angry customer came in as they were still open and then yelled that they were closing in 10 mins. The entire time we were there was just awkward. If you guys close at 10 you close at 10 I don't think it was appropriate to be telling customers to move out of a table so you can mop. Cleaning and mopping is do at closing not by closing. Its a customer service/ food industry. Then they started shutting off the ice cream machines while people were still trying to add the ice cream to the cups. read more

They were like kids in a candy store. I didn't think that gummy worms, swedish fish, reeses pieces, and frozen yogurt would go well together; but these kids proved me wrong. "Now make sure you eat too much and spoil your dinner!" I explained to them, to which they smiled and said "we don't usually get ice cream *before* dinner.", to which I replied "But it's not every day I *get* to buy you ice cream. ;-)". Satisfied and full of sugar, feeling like a proper mokey's uncle, we gave each other high fives, hugs, and then headed back home for "dinner" ;-) Oooh the flavors. I sampled them all and loved every last one; I think this is a fro yo rule actually, sampling them all that is. Now you're not supposed to show any preferential treatment towards any specific fro yo, so I always fill my cup with four or five different flavors. That's just how I roll. To me. Theirs no difference between this and other frozen yogurt places in the areas. Product tasted the same and same kind of setup inside. The location most likely hurts more then helps their business due to it being in front of a busy intersection in greenbrier. All in all it was good other then the fact that they don't leave the sample cups out for you to use as you need. You have to ask for them like a child asking for water, and then they give you 2. Sweet Frog is the way to go for some Froyo!! I usually come here for dessert with my sister and cousins. So far I have had excellent service whenever we come here. Very Friendly and Respectful staff. The yogurt selections are Great because you could choose from fat free to lactose free and even no sugar added for the diabetics. I got really excited when I saw my favorite, which is red velvet Yum. Plus, they have so many selections of toppings, which were always well stocked :) The atmosphere was awesome, it was very bright and such a happy place to go to. I love the way its based on a Christian Faith. They play Christian music in the background as well. Frog stands for F- Fully R- Rely O-On G-God, Love it!! Prices are reasonable. The only complaint is the location due to the high traffic around the Volvo/Battlefield, but got to say glad it's close to home. Being as I work next door to a Skinny Dip Frozen Yogurt I was alittle excited to try something different. I've driven by Sweet Frog a lot and have been meaning to try it. I was alittle disappointed. It was exactly like Skinny Dip. Only Skinny Dip lets you try the flavors at will. We had to ask if we could have a sample, the kid appeared from a side door in the back and handed us two little cups, making us feel as if we were children not to be trusted with sample cups. It tasted the exact same as well. It's good don't get me wrong, but I was hoping for different, unique, stand out. There was also a girl behind the counter of toppings and after every topping you use if you don't put the scoops pointing up, she follows you along fixing the spoons. It was a tad creepy. read more

BEST FROZEN YOGURT BAR EVER! Tonight was the first time my best friend and I ever went to this place. I thought we would be walking into a typical frozen yogurt bar but we were so wrong. I have been to several in the area and this is by far the best one. If you've never been to a frozen yogurt bar (fro-yo as I like to say) you basically have a wall of flavored frozen yogurts in 2-by-2 sections, and an option to swirl the two adjoining flavors. Then you move on to the buffet of toppings, however they may be organized. There's a list of items that set this establishment apart from the rest. It was identical to most, with the assembly-line layout. Also, they have a military discount which is a bonus! The best idea this place had which makes it awesome is that a) They offer punch cards (buy ten and your next is free), and b) they line up their retro-style tables and chairs along the wall length bench. Great idea, I know. The decor is eye-catching and also has some flair to it. They sell stuffed frogs which are so cute. (I didn't check out the rest of their products, that's all I could see from where I was seated) So it's not only about fulfilling your sweet tooth. Here's a fun fact: FROG stands for Fully Rely On God. I did not know that til I read it on their wall. So go get your Sweet Frog On! read more

Overall the Frozen yogurt wasn't bad but the customer service was horrible. They looked like they were forced to work there and were very entitled. The place smelt like sewage which is not very pleasant at all. They have one word answers for everything and they did not greet me when I came in or when I left. They don't clean the toppings properly they use a mini broom and swipe the toppings off the counter back into the container. I would not go back and I don't recommend going. read more
