I CANNOT EXPLAIN how delicious it was. I got the tahini dressing and opted to add on pulled chicken for $5 and have not gone a day without thinking about it. The curry cauliflower bowl has: curry roasted cauliflower, golden raisins, cashews, pickled red onions, crispy chickpeas, and artisan lettuce blend. I know it sounds healthy and I don't care if you don't even like curry... you will LOVE THIS. I want it for every lunch for the rest of my life and I'm already planning my next visit to The AMP so I can get my hands on it. Order it. The only turmoil I now feel is the stress of wanting to try everything on the menu but not wanting to *not* order this bowl. Take one look at their menu and you'll be so impressed. I mean... they have an "everything bagel caesar" dressing. How delicious and creative is that? They have sandwiches, salads, warm bowls, soups, desserts, and more. My wife and I decided to give this place a try based on the great reviews left by other Yelpers. We both had the Detroit Gyro and it was huge !! It's twice the size of the gyros at Jimmy John and at the same price. You get a huge heaping amount of gyro meat, tomatoes, onions, and creamy sauce on a huge pita. And it tastes amazing. We also tried the Fire Fries as recommended by other Yelpers and they were delicious. The staff were very friendly and helped us get through our virgin visit quickly. The place was very clean and new. We got there around 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon and as soon as we sat down the crowd started coming in. We are definitely coming back. You get a lot.....and I mean.....A LOT of food at a reasonable price. Give it a shot. You can't go wrong.

The sweet lady at the window kept saying "they" as she was talking, so I doubt it was the owner. She said because they open up later in the morning, they discontinued breakfast service. It's just pastries and regular coffee. No speciality drinks. No tea. Just coffee. I'm a huge fan of homemade pastries so I tried two - the cinnamon roll and pound cake. She heated the cinnamon roll in the microwave and it came out ooey gooey and delicious looking. Taste wasn't what I'm used to getting from the mall food court, but it was good. My issue was the texture. I think the microwave made it tough. I was super excited about the pound cake.... but I was disappointed to see that it was actually "coffee cake". The swirl, spices, crumb topping were a dead giveaway. But I like coffee cake too, so I took a bite. Further disappointment followed...it tasted freezer burned. To take the time to leave the house and enjoy a sit-down restaurant for the first meal of the day is so extravagant. I know I sound crazy, but I'm serious. Breakfast dates just hit different. And breakfast dates with your mom for her birthday are even more special. But here is my issue with most breakfast joints: they are all the same. It always makes me laugh when you are going to meet someone for breakfast and a lengthy discussion ensues over where to go. Does it even matter? They all serve the same things: Multiple forms of eggs, pancakes, french toast, breakfast meats and probably a "skillet" meal. This menu was fresh and different compared to mose midwestern breakfast establishments. This came as such a welcomed surprise. After receiving a hot cup of coffee, I decided on the chilaquiles. I had only heard of this dish, but had never had the opportunity to try it out. Have you ever had a dish that you didn't particularly enjoy, and yet you could tell that it was made really well? This was my experience with chilaquiles. If you aren't familiar, chilaquiles are tortilla chips that have been simmered in salsa rojo or verde. I was slightly concerned about ordering wet tortillas, but I am always down for a new experience. Honestly, I won't be ordering the chilaquiles, again. They were pretty much what I expected after reading the description. However, I was still impressed with the dish. Mornings did a great job, and I would actully recommend them to someone who enjoys chilaquiles. Personally, I would rather try some other dishes and flavors on the menu. But my thought was simple: If I am enjoying a dish that I don't seem to be a fan of now that I have tried it, how great are the rest of thes dishes on the menu that I know I would enjoy! So I'm not sure if they have charged for these things before or not. But if you look at the receipt, they charged $1.25 for lemons and an additional $1.25 for Limes. Upon asking for the extra lemon for my water and the extra lemon for my tacos, the server never stated that there would be an up charge for these items. And I've never in my life been charged for extra lemon and lime at a restaurant. Additionally, and they charge for an extra salsa because what they served us initially was a half full bowl. I can confidently say that I will not be returning to this location If you do decide to go here, I would just make sure that you ask if things going to be an additional charge or if you get your receipt thoroughly look at it before paying. The only reason I didn't notice this was because my partner has always paid for the bill.
