Good quality ingredients, Ordered a salmon protein plate. Protein portions were dissappointingly small for price.

It's big enough where I was full after it and my fiancé was full half way through hers. I got spicy tuna and shrimp and tons of sides. The service was good too. Super nice and friendly as it was my first time there so I didn't know exactly how to order. But they made it nice and easy process. The only thing is, it's $22 a box but it's worth it. I'll be going back for sure and recommend it to everyone.

I walked in, relieved to discover it was a poke spot, and decided to have lunch there. I ordered a bowl with white rice as my base and two proteins: tuna and yellowtail. To my surprise, I could add five toppings, so I went with crab meat, mango, cucumber, edamame, and scallions. I don't recall the exact sauces or sprinkles they put on, but the bowl was enormous--which explained the nearly $30 price tag! I grabbed a seat by the window overlooking the parking lot. The chair was a bit snug, but I didn't mind as I dug into my fresh, flavorful poke bowl. Everything tasted incredibly fresh. The staff member helping me was new, shadowed by the manager as he assembled my order, but he did a great job! After another grueling 90-minute Bikram Yoga session, I debated between returning here or grabbing Taco Bell, which was much cheaper and in the same shopping center. Despite the price difference, I chose the healthier option. Since the restaurant was packed and I was eager to get home, I decided to order to go. This time, a young woman helped me build a bowl with half purple rice and half white rice. Purple rice is a highly nutritious whole grain, so I was eager to try it. It had a ougher texture to chew than white or brown rice, but I still enjoyed my lunch. For protein, I chose tuna and spicy tuna. I rattled off a long list of toppings before realizing I'd already hit the five-topping limit. I wished I could swap one of the mangoes out, but instead, I paid the extra $1.25 for an additional topping. The young woman was efficient, and I was out of there in no time. Overall, I'm a fan of this restaurant. I can definitely see myself coming back after future Bikram Yoga sessions in the 'torture chamber.'

The roasted potatoes were cooked perfectly with soft texture when biting. The broccolini in the sesame sauce was sweet balancing the meal overall. You order at the counter, get a number, pick where you want to sit, and they bring the food to you. Even before my food came out, I noticed a weird, unpleasant sour smell in the air while sitting down. The food came out pretty fast and the prices were pretty fair, but overall the food quality wasn't great. Grilled Grass Fed Steak - $22.99 Rating: (3/10) It hurt a little when I ordered and the cashier at the front didn't ask me how I wanted the steak cooked. They even ask at Chili's how you'd like your steak done. The steak was cooked medium (a bit overcooked for my liking) and was pretty dry toward the side pieces. I also think there needed to be a bit more seasoning variety than just salt and pepper, since it tasted pretty bland. The fries were okay, a bit too salty and under fried. A lot of the bites I had were filled with massive salt crystal chunks. But the real meal and dish killer was the brussels sprouts. First off, it looked nothing like the pictures on the website. The brussels sprouts were way undercooked. The balsamic dressing was unpalatable, purely a bad balsamic vinaigrette, overwhelmingly harsh with a throat burning sourness that overpowered the dish rather than balancing it. It also tasted like sugary corn syrup mixed with harsh vinegar, coating veggies in a sticky, cloying film. Looking back, that pungent vinaigrette could be what I was smelling in the air before my food even came out.

They recommended a few dishes to start with and even let us know they would happily replace anything if we didn't enjoy it, which made us feel really taken care of. While we waited for our entrées, we had the basil pesto shells as a side, and they were so refreshing and flavorful. The portions were huge! I ordered the Summer Peach Salad, and it was my favorite entree; lots of flavor. We both loved our sandwiches as well. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully made. Between the exceptional customer service, generous portions, and delicious food, this was a fantastic first visit. I'll definitely be back!

Overall the sandwich was good with the right ratio of sweet to savory ingredients, The aioli spread was sweet and tart and was something new for me that was totally unexpected in a sandwich like this one. I was especially impressed with their lemonade, which has a good tart tang to it without being overly sweet. For the quality of the meal I feel the price was reasonable but overall I think it is a little overpriced but Mendocino Farma serves up good, healthy fresh meals that are delicious!
