A good variety to choose from for different dietary requirements. Food is delicious. Good portion size for sharing too. Good services even though one orders from the counter.

I went with the staff recommendation of chicken kebab. Food was so good! I must come back again. The staff also did a tremendous job accommodating me and my friends. We had a big party, and we were all seated together.

Dish N Dash has gotten better since our last visit. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service is fast and friendly and the place is generally clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We got the lamb wrap which had very tender lamb (and generous amounts of it). The falafel side was one of the best falafel around. Crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. We got the shawarma hummus appetizer with chicken which was also excellent. The chicken could have been hotter but otherwise it was very well cooked and seasoned.

This is the casual Sister restaurant to the just as delicious DishDash in Downtown Sunnyvale. A bit on the pricier side for casual faire but not as pricy as the Original DishDash but worth every penny! In addition to the delicious menu choices, there is alcohol and fresh squeezed juices along with smoothies here. Some of our favorite menu items are the Beef Kabob, Mansaf and assorted Seafood items and casual wraps. They have some great options for appetizers, we especially love their Sambusak and Sambusak Dajaj. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's plenty of seating and you order at the Counter.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The portions are very generous and you'll definitely leave with leftovers depending on how big of an eater you are.

Ordered off their website and picked up for takeout easily. Consistent with their other locations. Fresh, colorful, and full of flavor! I got the lamb and beef kebab which came with roasted peppers and onions. Strong flavors and went great my favorite, the roasted red pepper dip. Sweet and nutty flavor. The chicken shawarma was also solid and not too dry. Babaghanouge had a deep roasted eggplant flavor. Entrees came with pita bread along with 4 different sauces. The food is spiced really well here! First time trying their date shake and it was delicious. Not too sweet but has the date flavors. Would definitely pickup from here again.

Ordered veggie special and family member ordered falafel salad. Absolutely loved the veggie special and think that's my new go to! Red pepper and walnut dip, babaganush, hummus, and tabouli with falafel, and salad. Pita on the side. Salad was overly saturated with dressing so will ask them to give me dredging on the side. Nice arrangement of flavors and textures- loved it!!!

Great food, fast enough service--would be 100% perfect with more dressing options. Pomegranate smoothie is awesome.

Love to eat at this place! We always leave with our tummies full with delicious healthy-ish food and fresh juice! Our go to order Falafel wrap with 2 sides (lentil soup and fries) Falafel grill with rice and 2 sides (hummus and tabbouli) Juice : Pineapple Apple Lemon Mint Soooooooo good! Highly recommend trying this place out if you haven't

First time trying this place and I didn't know what to expect. I would say I highly recommend this spot! We got falafel wrap and the shawarma veggie wrap? combined with black beans mix. Their garlic "dip" is YUM! Mix some of the over the counter chili sauce and it's just so flavorful Service: decent, no complains [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance: it was definitely a vibe, a lot of folks on a Saturday for lunch time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would go try again!

Chicken Shwarma with Hummus, Basmati Rice, and this Garlic dip
    Shirley W.

Food was really good! I would give it a 5 but the service was quite slow. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This may have been during prime dinner time. Tables were all filled, big families all around.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered entree dishes, which I mainly got to try the chicken shawarma with hummus and basmati rice. Also got to try this garlic dip that was really good! Garlic was VERY garlic. I was intrigued to try the freekeh but the rice was actually better lol. Hummus was very smooth. Portions were quite huge as well. Just the offset was that service was slow from receiving our orders.

    Ground Lamb & Beef Kebab
    Sally Z.

No misses here, everything was so good! I tried the hummus appetizer and the kufta (ground lamb and beef) kebab with freekeh, and hummus and falafel as my sides. So delicious and loaded with flavor! [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is plenty of indoor seating and my group of 9 had no trouble finding a table on a busy Saturday night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I also appreciated the generous self-serve sauce station. My favorite was the yogurt sauce and it paired so well with my falafel. Overall, I had a positive experience here and a very full belly. Highly recommend to anyone looking to grab some really great Mediterranean food!

    Falafel grill
    Sriharsha A.

I usually come here for dinner with friends, and it's a dependable place for solid Mediterranean food. I almost always order the falafel grill with lentil soup and baba ghanoush. The falafel is always cooked perfectly, and the lentil soup is hearty and comforting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's plenty of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Water is self serve and you bus your own dishes. Prices do seem to creep up a bit with each visit, but the food quality and consistency keep me coming back.

    Beef kebab salad
    Amy P.

This location is huge with lots of tables to sit at. The parking lot can get crazy but there is more parking towards the back corner. You order at the counter and wait for your food to be ready. Staff here were friendly and constantly bussing tables. As for food, I got the medium beef kebab salad with a side of rice and lentil soup. Beef kebab itself was very good and flavorful. The lentil soup was ok. Didn't really stand out for me. They have a green sauce that's great to add to the salad and dip the beef in. And their red sauce has a nice kick to it. The portion is huge so it's definitely worth the value. I couldn't finish my plate and took the rest home for leftovers, which was still good. If you're craving Middle Eastern food that's quick and delicious, it's definitely worth checking out.

    Are the falafels gluten free?

Falafels are made with Chickpeas which are gluten free. Not sure if they add anything else in there that is not gluten free. That said the falafel is amazing here. Highly recommended.

Does this location open on Sundays? I tried calling, but something is wrong with their phone.

It's Super Bowl so they closed early!

What's up with DishDash, Dish n Dash, Dish N Dash, Dish n' Dash, Dishdash Grill, etc.? Is someone trying to cash in on an established brand name? And if so, who's copying who?

It's all the same company. The original one is DishDash in downtown Sunnyvale. https://www.dishdash.com

    Is the meat halal?

Menu says Halal Lamb and chicken

The Durian Blossom is also very pleasant because it mixes in jasmine tea! The one durian drink I didn't like was Durian Silk Brew (I think this is a seasonal drink) because it included fermented rice. The mix of durian and alcohol/fermentation was too much for my taste buds. Line can be long, there are a few kiosks inside to place your orders and some (usually crowded) tables at the side.

The system doesn't automatically clear the previous person's number. Someone before us entered their phone number but decided not to order. My sister was next, and she placed and paid for her order without entering her own number because she didn't realize it was still using the previous person's number. Later, we found out that someone else picked up her drinks because of the number mistake. So make sure the screen is back at the main ordering page and that your own phone number is entered before placing your order. The drinks themselves were light and yummy. We also went during a BOGO 50% off promotion, which was a nice bonus. The drinks were good, but the 75-minute wait and ordering mix-up were definitely frustrating.

When they closed because of the rodent problems, it really messed up my routine, and I didn't enjoy the Sunnyvale location as much. I'm so happy they've reopened! As a vegan, I don't usually eat the hot bar or bakery food, but I do appreciate the packaged vegan options like 365 brand scones and croissants, and of course, the Abe's line. They typically have great deals for Prime members, especially the meat alternatives from Beyond and Jack & Annie's. I do a bulk of my shopping and all my Amazon returns here. Some of my staples are: Siggi's Plant-Based yogurt, Icelandic Provisions Oatmilk Skyr yogurt, 365 Chocolate Almondmilk Pudding, the fresh sourdough loaves, organic fruit, organic almond milk, and Greyston Bakery vegan brownies (birthday cake and cinnamon roll are my faves). The guy behind the meat counter, with an unhappy face in a monotone, unenthusiastic voice tells me a big story of the butcher and this and that, rambling in incomplete sentences - ultimately, about how he will not cut it for me. He refused to. Interesting, because last week I said I wanted about a pound of flank steak and it wasn't an issue -the guy turned around cut it, slapped it on the scale, wrapped it and handed it to me with a smile. The lack of human emotion with some of the workers at this store is astounding. Why are you paying them? How did they get hired? Genuine question. The cashiers are very similar. Zero personality . One tall older guy with glasses is always inconsiderate and simply unhappy on a regular basis. Was outright rude to me when "he" made a mistake ringing up an item - and he didn't like it when I questioned him. They are just outright rude here. I could list many more examples of how bad this store is and the staff who work here. Not all the staff, there are some very nice professional ones, but it's few and far between. Where is the management? Does it exist at this whole Foods or do they only step in when rats are running around the store?

The shop has a bright, clean interior with a casual atmosphere that makes it an easy place to stop for a refreshing dessert. Seeing stacks of fresh mangoes behind the counter immediately gave me confidence that the fruit would be one of the highlights of the experience. The mango desserts were easily the best part of my visit. I tried the Pomelo & Mango with Sago, which combined sweet mango, creamy coconut milk, chewy sago, and fresh pomelo for a refreshing balance of flavors and textures. I also enjoyed the Mango Chewy Ball, where the fresh mango and smooth mango juice paired perfectly with the soft, chewy rice balls. Both desserts felt light while still being satisfying, making them a great option on a warm day. I also had the chance to try a few of the other menu items. The mango mochi was fresh and soft, with ripe mango wrapped inside a delicate chewy layer. For something different, the spicy chili fish balls offered a savory contrast to the fruit desserts, adding a bit of heat and a springy texture that balanced out all of the sweetness. The ordering process was quick and straightforward, and my food arrived not long after I found a table. The dining area was clean and comfortable, and small touches like providing wet wipes made the experience feel a little more thoughtful. It is the kind of place where you can stop in for a quick dessert or stay a little longer while sharing a few different items with friends. Overall, Hui Lau Shan is a great spot for anyone looking for fresh, fruit-forward desserts with authentic Hong Kong flavors. The quality of the mangoes, the variety of textures, and the relaxed atmosphere made it a place I would happily return to whenever I was craving something refreshing.
