I come here for lunch probably 3x a week and while it's always packed (the space is the size of a small office), they do an incredibly efficient job of moving the line along. My only gripe is that they've been out of sweetpress juice a couple of times in the last few months but that must mean the demand is there -- it's expensive but delicious!! Guacamole Greens is the best go to salad although Misoba is a nice changeup if you like Asian flavors. Great friendly staff -- well done on this location guys! read more

On a typical week I visit sweetgreen twice a week, however Andria (employee) clearly misses the fact that many people including myself speak Spanish as well.. if you choose to speak negatively about customers (Spanish) perhaps customer service is not your specialty, otherwise the salads are good. read more

I've been going to this place for about 2 years now and it gets better every time. In addition to the salads which are amazing, they now offer SweetPress which is organic pressed juice. I am so obsessed with these! My favorites are, Detox - really sweet but yummy, Purify - cool and refreshing and Hydrate - smooth and definitely hydrating. Energize (carrot, ginger, grapefruit, cayenne) is ok but I drink it because I know it is good for me ;) Since I have recently been on a different eating plan, this has helped a lot. I feel great! Oh and as far as the salads...my favorites: Chic-P with baked Falafel and the Misoba with avocado and soba noodles. Delish! I also love the fact that they have multiple locations throughout the DMV area. When I'm at work in Arlington, I go to the Ballston location, and I also frequent Bethesda and M Street. read more

Just arrived into town and had not eaten dinner yet. Decided to eat something healthy since it was past 9:30 pm. We ordered one Earth Bowl and one Avocobbo. It was the first time we dined at this chain, but the salads were pretty good. Total cost of meal was around $21.00. Great idea! It's Subway for salads! They have pre-created salads, or you can make your own. I got the Spicy Sabzi, extra Sriracha, of course. And not that it makes any sense to anyone else, I added goat cheese. Why? Because I LOVE goat cheese. Plus, that made the Vegan bread go down easier. Wow, is vegan bread awful or what?! I'm also super excited that they were open until 10:00 p.m., because we decided we were hungry at 9:45 p.m., and since it was pouring, this was the perfect place to walk to. They have a ton of great veggie options to toss into your salad. And what looked like an impressive list of original dressings. Came here tonight after a three week trip to Asia.. maybe it was the fact that i had romanticized salad in a whole new light or maybe it was somewhat bland ingredients used in the salad but for a 12 dollar salad i expected greater freshness and crispness. They overused the sauces and added crackers awkwardly with the lime making the texture mediocre at best. I used to eat here 2-3x a week. One night I stopped in and they had started cleaning the store while still making salads. They had buckets w/dirty water and mops laying around. I walked out. Couldn't bring myself to returning. Today, I walked by and there wasn't a line so I tried again. The toppings containers were strewn all over each other, the tomatoes, corn and cucumber wilted, and the falafel was hard as a rock -- inedible. Sat in the pan for hours. The bread was completely stale. Rock hard. Add to this mess the frenetic attempts to make online orders AND in person orders. The system can't handle both. It actually seems that he online orders get preference. Hopefully someone in management will read this and do something about it. Otherwise I won't be back simply because I enjoyed it before when it was clean and fresh versus the waste of money I received today. read more

We live in Belleair, Florida and if you had a store near by we would be there nearly every day!! Please please consider opening in my area, we have the usual Chipotle, Moes, the nearest to sweet green is a restaurant/take out called Panera bread which is expensive and not as wonderful as sweet Green!! This place is understaffed. Longer than necessary wait time and very poor service. Ordered a salad off the regular menu; they were out of several ingredients but didn't have time to prepare more, then used the wrong dressing. I only realized that they'd given me the wrong dressing when I got home. Thoroughly unsatisfying experience. At ten dollars per salad, I'd rather eat elsewhere in the neighborhood. The best of the sweetgreen locations, especially since the foggy bottom location is always super dirty. And the georgetown location is a shack plagued with students. Sweetgreen has most recently taken over as my favorite quick salad shop within the area, previously held by Chop't. I find that Sweetgreen's selection of seasonal ingredients are more fresh, more tasty and are prepared in ways that I more enjoy. As happy as I am to see Spring here, I am missing the delicious roasted butternut squash that Sweetgreen had available within their Fall/Winter ingredient list. One of the best of the make-your-own salad chains, Sweetgreen has everything you'd want in a salad place. The ingredients are fresh and there are a variety of interesting and odd ones that make you consider swapping up your salad routine, the servers are pleasant, and the ambiance of each location is nice. The frozen yogurt that they serve isn't half bad either, though Sweetgreen only serves one flavor and has a more limited set of toppings than pinkberry or frozenyo.
