ROACHES and terrible staff: I ordered my stuff right before closing. I got there literally 1 minute after they closed. I saw employees and tried knocking politely on the front and back doors so I could explain that I was waiting on an order. I stood outside for TWENTY minutes waiting for one of the employees to talk to me and understand that I wasn't there to order after hours. I just didn't want to lose my money. Once they FINALLY "noticed" me, the employee very rudely told me they were closed; which I already knew. If he took 30 seconds to talk to me he would understand that all I wanted to do was pick up my snack and leave. I stoped in here on my daughter's birthday to get her a treat. The store is warm and welcoming. Clean and the staff is friendly with smiles. I've been here a couple times. The cookies are yummy but I can't say they're my favorite. The regular size cookies are HUMONGOUS so be prepared to share or expect leftovers. If you can eat a whole cookie, power to you! Usually peanut butter chocolate or snickerdoodle are my favorite types of cookies. I often shy away from sugar cookies because they're just "normal". But, at Crumbl, I think I have to admit that their regular pink sugar cookie is my favorite. The other ones are ok but I don't love them. Cookies yes, yes and more Yes's please! These cookies although many try to claim are overrated are definitely delicious. They melt in your mouth and leave you wanting more. My family and I like to order the 6 pack box and get one of each that we all love. My favorite being their classic pink sugar however that was before I knew when you ordered the chocolate chip they service it to you warm! That right there is genius! We were literally fighting over the chocolate chip which is an overall classic fav. The stores are small but welcoming offering really great photo ops! The low rating is more so for the curbside pick-up. Without fail, every time we order for curbside pick-up, the app says "Enjoy" and shows your order was brought to you when in fact, you have to call the store to let them know you are sitting around still waiting. Unsure why this is even an option if 99.9 % of the time, your cookies aren't brought to the car. Yet and still, I always add a tip which is pretty frustrating. Also, availability can be an issue with the more 'popular' flavors. If the store is open until 10 pm, how do you sell out of a flavor by 3 pm?? read more

I've got a sweet tooth, but this didn't deliver the sugar rush I was after. Crumblr Cookies is super hyped on social media, but it fell short for me. The cookies were priced at $5 for a small size. They were overly doughy and packed with sugar - honestly, on par with, if not worse than, grocery store cookies. They switch up their cookie flavors weekly, which I like, and I tried the pumpkin one. The pumpkin flavor was noticeable, but overall, the cookie didn't impress. It was just overwhelmingly sweet, lacking any special or unique touches. Plus, having a minimum of 600 calories per cookie is just crazy! I liked the store's aesthetic and how they presented their cookies. Crumbl Cookies burst onto the scene with a vengeance and was so hyped up! While the cookies are good and interesting they just aren't worth the hype for me. They are known for their thick, huge, over the top flavors and they are definitely quite enticing but the quality control at this particular location seems to be lacking. Many of the cookies are hit or miss due to the simple fact that they are either undercooked in the middle, aren't frosted properly or are lacking the filling for that particular flavor. There are a few flavors here that have been done right that I really am a fan of and they are the Lemon Cheesecake and the Raspberry Cheesecake. The cookies had the perfect amount of cream cheese frosting and fruit topping to where you got a little of both in each bite. I feel as though those two flavors should become permanent. Overall they have some good cookies but I think they need to focus on the quality control and the pricing seems a little high at $5 per cookie. If I could give the customer service a zero today, I would. I placed an order through the app for 4 cookies. 2 Dubai and 2 Milk Chocolate. My kids were so excited to finally try the Dubai flavor! We drove nearly 25 minutes to the store, only to be told "Oh, we refunded your money. We've been sold out of Dubai all day." Why was it even available to order through the app if it was sold out? Why didn't anyone call or notify me before I made the drive? And why was my entire order canceled instead of just the unavailable items? To make matters worse, the employee didn't apologize or offer an alternative. She simply said the refund was issued and walked away. I have a major sweet tooth, so Crumbl hits my spots just right every single time. The cookies are so delicious, perfectly tasty, soft and melt in your mouth, but also the right amount of crisp when needed. They are definitely sugary and very sweet, so you must know that and cannot complain when they are!!! I have gone many times and love that you get rewards points. Each week they have new yummy flavors and I don't think I have ever been disappointed. My only complaint is they should have more napkins (I think there are only paper towels?) and also more utensils to be able to split/cut the cookies. It's also super easy to order on the iPad and they come out pretty fast! Staff are quite nice too. read more

Oh, these are pretty cookies in pretty boxes, and I wanted to love them, but I have to be real. I don't like eating cookie dough, and that what these cookies are. If you eat around the edge of the massive cookie, it's pretty good, although overly sweet. But beyond that it's like eating cookie dough, which I know many people enjoy, but not me. We ordered 4 cookies for about $20 after tax and service fee (yes, that's right - a service fee for cookies): + Chocolate chip - first couple bites are yummy, but too doughy for me. Lot's of chocolates chips, though. + Pumpkin cake cookie - this was like cake (about an 1-inch thick) with thick cream cheese topping. On the plus side, it was not doughy, but just overly sweet and did not taste like pumpkin. + Pink sugar cookie - the doughiest of them all. This was like eating raw cookie dough with sweet sugary frosting on top. Yuck. I'm sure they use quality ingredients, and the shop is very nice, and cookies and presentation are all very pretty. Pretty good cookies (when cooked correctly), but will nickel and dime you left and right under the guise of being a 'tech-driven cookie company'. I talk more about that at the end of my review. How it works: 1. You can order in store (by an employee or their self-serve tablets) or through their mobile app. 2. There are ~6 flavors, and they rotate every week (except chocolate chip which always stays on the menu, so effectively 5 flavors that rotate weekly) Their prices at the time of me writing this review: 1 Cookie - $4.98 (+ sales tax + CC service fee) 4 Cookies - $16.28 ($4.07 per cookie + sales tax + CC service fee) 6 Cookies - $24.98 ($4.16 per cookie + sales tax + CC service fee) 12 Cookies - $42.48 ($3.54 per cookie + sales tax + CC service fee) I consider myself a person who doesn't mind spending extra ends to enjoy the nicer things in life, but I will be in the camp of 'these are some pricey cookies'. Just an observation (and not a complaint): There were HELLA employees working here. A bit wild to think you can have this many employees on payroll for a cookie shop. I was going to make a joke money laundering, but this recent heatwave is tiring me out quickly so I'll just assume you understood the connection/implication here and scoot along here. We got: - Chocolate chip - Milk Glaze ft. Fruity Pebbles - French Toast - Classic Pink Sugar The Fruity Pebbles and French Toast were easily my favorite. The chocolate chip was just a notch or two above being ok, and I didn't really care much for the Classic Pink Sugar. We also got their branded cookie cutter which was $5. It cuts the cookies into 4's fairly conveniently. Nothing too propriety, and nothing you couldn't do with a knife and some basic knifing skills. That's pretty much all the praise I'll give to them. Now here's what I didn't like: - I'm not a big fan of how they charge service fees. The service fee for this store is 2.95%. Damn, and I'm already paying close to $20 for four cookies too......The only way to get out of this service fee (that I know of) is if you pay in cash (the service fee is tied to credit card transactions). The problem is, they rarely advertise this, and you can't opt in for cash payment on orders through mobile app. If you thought their cookies were already pricey, here's another service fee on top of it. Many people have scrutinized this practice in various discussions about Crumbl Cookies online. - If I were to compare how the cookies were baked/cooked liken to a steak, then I'd say they came out "medium rare". Medium rare is a great thing for steak (imo), but not sure for cookies. I found our cookies were very close to still being unbaked towards the center. I prefer my cookies to be more evenly baked and while I can understand the center tends to be the last part to be thoroughly baked, I'm not ordering molten lava cake, I'm ordering cookies. The center ended up tasting chalky and effectively uncooked cookie dough. Also, most of the cookies can be heavy on the toppings, so baking through that layer of topping can become affected if not adjusted correctly for it. I just want to say, for a company that touts themselves as a tech-driven company, it still misses the mark on a few initiatives. Digital orders easily get the short end of the stick. When we went, all the tablets said the Fruity Pebbles were sold out. When we went to order with an employee instead, she told us they were just about done being baked and we can place an order for them. This happened while groups of customers who were opting in for the self serve tablets to order or their mobile apps couldn't order Fruity Pebbles because the store disabled it there. Lastly, you can't place orders on a computer. Good grief, please don't call yourself a tech cookie company when you reroute online orders to a link that sends customers to your mobile app in the App Store...... I'll leave this a 3 star for now, because hey the cookies tasted good. In reconsideration of my review, however, there were things based on interpretation that could've swung it the other direction, and things the company can definitely improve on. read more

I saw so many Tik Tok videos of Crumbl and decided to go when I saw it open up in Pac Commons in Fremont. Cookie = 4/5 (decent tasting). We tried the Strawberry Milk cookie and it was definitely on the sweeter side but overall a good tasting cookie. The cookies rotate on a weekly basis (except for the chocolate chip) so check their website. Price = Really expensive for 1 cookie. I think I was sticker shocked but I mean if everyone is okay paying $5.66 ($4.98 + tax + cc fee) for one cookie, they really got their customer base locked down. Things I disliked: 1.) The "Tip Screen" from the two kiosks you can order from on the far right of the store starts at a minimum of $2. For one cookie, that represents a minimum tip of 35%. I hope they adjust that down because in no way handing me one cookie should warrant a 35% tip. I would also advise using the kiosks because it would be even more awkward to decline a tip when ordering in front of one of the nice staff. 2.) If it's busy, the store is actually quite small. There's a really small waiting area on the left and the line to the register/kiosk is almost right at the front door. Felt awkward rubbing shoulders with everyone while I was there. I think its worth trying once just to see what the hype is about but I'm not itching to pay $5.66 and up for a cookie in the future. read more
