This is by far the best barbecue we have ever eaten!! They have the most delicious ribs and they are so tender the meat falls off the bones. We ordered this today at work using GrubHub and all I can think is why is this my first time! I have driven pass this place multiple times but never stopped by, this is the best food I've tasted in a long time! The greens stood out the most to me and my coworkers. We attended the Mt Washington pumpkin chuck and at at sweet meats BBQ. The line was long but it's as worth it . We tried the 4 way BBQ sampler. It looked different but the combination was great. My wife is soooooo picky about food touching and combination bit she eat almost the whole sampler. The combination worked and we will look out for the truck again. Will return. read more

Tried these guys out at Mt Carmel yesterday and I must say that I am a fan. The pulled pork sandwich was outstanding! His sides that day were mac n cheese and green beans which were pretty tasty. The owner was super nice and willing to talk to you about his love of BBQ. The only reason I am not doing a full 5 stars is I had the brisket and it was a touch dry. Not to his fault at all just brisket can do that once it has been cut. I would love to try it right off the smoker once it was rested. I would give him a 4.75 stars if I could. I have always loved good Barbecue, and this is about as good as it gets. We've had the brisket, ribs, pulled pork, chicken, slaw, Mac and Cheese, cornbread, banana pudding and probably a few other things. Needless to say we went back after the first try. This is true BBQ, and they do mean it when they say that "We're not just blowing smoke" or that they aren't hiding behind the sauce. Yes, the sauce is good, but is not needed to make up for anything. It is well worth it. We are hoping that they are able to open a sit down restaurant in Mt. Washington, that is something the neighborhood really needs! read more

Sweets & Meats has consistently been the best BBQ I've had. They don't seem to have an off day. We have picked up food from their carry out restaurant, gotten food from the food truck, and used them for catering at my office twice. I love knowing that when I order their food and take it to work people are going to rave about how good it is. I think the brisket is the most tender and flavorful I have ever had. The mac and cheese is sooo good. And the strawberry crunch cake is so decadent. Everything else is also delicious but those are probably my favorite things. Delish!!! read more

Three stars might be generous. We were shorted a bit on a pound of pork--not a huge deal unless you consider you're paying more than a dollar an ounce for the pork, and then an ounce matters. The bbq sauce is okay but not awesome. The cheese in the mac and cheese is curdled and separated and nothing like a nice creamy mac and cheese. The baked beans were almost too sweet to eat, and I'm not averse to sweets. If a friend served this, I'd eat it, but I won't buy it again. Me and my husband picked up a pulled pork sandwich meal for each of us a few days ago. It was our first time trying the food. The pulled pork was wonderful! The sauce was very tasty. The mac and cheese you could tell was home made. It was not 'bland' like some mac and cheese you get at restaurants. The spices in the mac and cheese were very good! The only thing i wasn't too much of a fan of was the cornbread. I felt like the cornbread was too soft and dense. Me and my husband prefer a dryer cornbread. Just had a pulled pork sandwich from this truck at Lumenocity, along with food from several other trucks, and this place was hands down the best. The flavoring of the pulled pork was absolutely delicious, and the macaroni and cheese was EXCELLENT. It reminded me a little bit of Keystone Grill's macaroni. If I had one complaint it would be that my bottom bun was a little soggy, but it wasn't bad or enough to ruin the sandwich or anything. read more

I love their BBQ sauce too - it has a nice kick! Everything was delicious, but my new favorite is rib tips, as good as any I've had from southern bbq joints. We had those, brisket, and pulled pork.
