Swenson's Drive-in is a staple in northeast Ohio! We are so fortunate that they expanded from the Akron area out to the Cuyahoga County area. My go to meal is a double cheeseburg with extra pickles, onion rings or fried mushrooms with a side of ranch, and either a hotfudge and pb milkshake or an Ohio. And Ohio is like a cherry 7up with pebble ice. They also have a California (grape) and a Florida (orange). They have delicious burgers that come on a toasty bun. They also have some delicious seasonal shakes! The pumpkin pie shake is a hit! This particular location has friendly service consistently but it's usually pretty slow. I have waited up to 30 minutes at times. Overall, I continue to return because the food is delicious and the service is friendly. Just don't stop here when you're in a hurry.

We drove into Swenson's tonight for quick bite. There is something fun about having dinner brought to your car. When you arrive you let the servers know you are ready by turning your lights on. The server generally runs to the car. Our order came out very quickly. Unfortunately their plant based burger is vegetarian not vegan, so i ordered fries. My partner and son both ordered Galley Boy Burgers. They commented on the unusual sauce combination on the burger and both agreed it was unusual but it works. The server was hesitant to hang the tray on the car because it was known to scratch cars, so it was a little awkward having it in the car. We did appreciate the server caring about the car. When we finished our meal the server came to the car. We cashed out and we were finished. We were in and out pretty quickly. Swenson's was not busy on this chilly December night. The restaurant was decorated for the holidays and seemed festive.

Listen, it's fast food. Yes it gets 5 stars for fast food, not as a big fancy meal. But dang it sure gets the job done. When visiting the area, I had to try the regional favorite. Went with the traditional Galley Boy because I do love me a saucy burger. It was warm and cooked well. I got the potato teezers as a side. They have a hint of jalapeño, but it's, ahem, white people spicy lol. Absolutely adored my shake too, I got a mocha shake that was so decadent and tasty! My husband got some chicken strips and fries with a pumpkin pie shake. Definitely get the pumpkin shake if it's available and you're a pumpkin spice fan. Service was quick and friendly, easy to figure out what to do.

Sometimes you just don't wanna get out of the car sometimes you just wanna chill in the car and munch on some burger goodness if that's the case then you've come to the right place as there's no reason to get out of the car here. My friend has wanted to come to one of these for a wile so today was that day as we just wanted burgers and this was along the way so it was that kinda day. Before living here I've never heard of Swensons and after seeing them a few times around town it was about that time to try em so that we did the first thing I noticed is their staff is running to your car like they are in a full sprint to get to you I was like wow that's crazy and cool at the same time! Seeing we had never been here before they gave us a menu and told us to turn our headlights on once we were ready to order or if we needed anything else after we received our food. Of the menu I went with a galley boy it was a smaller size for a signature burger of theirs but it was good it seemed to have a taste of horseradish and bbq sauce to it which made for a yummy and kinda unique taste overall pretty good! Of the other choices I also went with their beef and veggie soup it was flavorful and yummy the best part about it is I found myself dipping my burger into it and I must say that was where it's at as it just made something that was that good just that much better! My friend and I shared some fries they were just fries nothin special other than fries but hey that's what fries are suposto be! Overall cool little drive-in I'm sure I'll visit one again sometime as the prices were right and the food was definitely better than some of those other fast food restaurants so who knows when but it definitely isn't out of the question!

If you're a Clevelander, you know and love Swensons. So when you spot one and you're in the wild, it's almost an inevitable rite of passage that you find a way to stop there. I do believe this is the newest location within the last year or two. It's nestled near some main shopping centers, so if you're in the area hitting up a big chain store, it's an easy trip (that's how we ended up here). I've been to a handful of Swensons, but this was by far the fastest one. It was lightening fast, and I mean that literally. Even in the pouring rain, these hardworking high school aged girls were literally running at lightening speed to deliver our food. Swensons is always so reliable and they have their service model down to a science. Lights on for service! As always, we got the greasy goodness we were looking for. I always recommend that newbies try out the signature Galley Boy, a side of potato teezers, and a milkshake of phosphate. If you're dining in, it's always fun to eat a meal at Swensons and feel like you're back at a 1950s drive-up. Thanks Swensons for always being so delicious and quintessentially Cleveland!

Great, quick service. Excellent tasting food. Not overly greasy or salty. Priced appropriately to bring kids.

My boyfriend and I liked Tous les Jours when we went to the Lyndhurst location when it opened about a year-ish ago. It wasn't perfect though and we had some minor quibbles. So while in the Avon area in July 2026, we stopped in for a snack. Inside, it is quite cute! Pretty packaging and lovely baked goods everywhere. Unfortunately, the women's restroom was a bit of a mess. The floor was a little dirty nd the toilet paper holder was busted up. But it wasn't terrible. This was just a snack break for the two of us, so we didn't order a ton. I got the coffee bun ($3.50) and a small korean iced milk coffee ($4.39). My bf got the smores croissant ($5.50) and a red bean bun ($3.10). His croissant was stuffed with marshmallow cream. He had fun eating it. My coffee bun was basically a brioche bun with a dusting of coffee. Call me basic, but I actually really loved it! Although, I gotta know how in the world was my korean iced coffee only 60 calories with all the half and half, whole milk, and syrup? It ended up being too sweet anyway but I did finish it because it cost me almost 5 bucks! I really liked my coffee bun and my bf enjoyed his red bean bun. He ended up wishing he had ordered the smores Belgian waffle instead of the croissant since the smores part of the croissant was only some icing on top of a regular croissant. Overall, I paid about $18 for 4 items, 2 of which we would order again. I liked the drinks at Tous les Jour better as well as the aesthetic, but my coffee bun was a real winner in the pastry department so we will call it a tie. We are glad we finally tried out Paris Baguette!

I finally visited Paris Baguette in February 2026 and I arrived around 6:30am. They opened this Avon, Ohio location in June 2025. I visited a second time in March 2026. Paris Baguette is owned by a South Korean food group, much to my surprise. They only have about 2 locations in Paris, France. Most of their locations are in Asia (majority in South Korea). Other locations are in North America and Europe. ORDER -- Walk in and to your left are tongs and a tray. Pick out your items, place them on the try, then head to the counter to pay for them. Sit inside and enjoy the delicate bites or take your order to go. PASTRIES/BREAD -- Arrive early to get pastries because they normally sell out. They sell milk buns (bread) which is popular in Asia. There are a variety of pastries to choose from. During my 2 visits, I got the ham & cheese pastry ($5), Fruit Bite -- Raspberry ($3.00), a sweet potato pastry ($4) which I got for free because of their free pastry offer, and a pepperoni pastry ($5.69). All of the pastries that I ate were delicious. My favourites were the sweet potato pasty and the ham & cheese pastry. The sweet potato pastry is described as a "buttery twisted pastry with sweet potato and custard cream, sprinkled with black sesame seeds." -- this is a unique and tasty pastry. I noticed cakes for sale by the slice and whole cakes up at the counter. PRICES - Fair and standard. Yes, it will be expensive but that isn't surprising as most bakeries aren't cheap. The reviews complaining about prices should just be aware that this isn't a full asian bakery where the prices tend to be a bit lower. This is a mix of European and Asian. In addition, bakeries will not be cheap. SEATING -- This is a smaller cafe but there are about 7 tables and chairs to sit on plus a counter at the back to sit on. Overall, their baked goods are delicious and fresh plus the bakery is clean. Customer service has always been attentive and friendly. I'll definitely be back. The only downside is if you arrive late, you may not have any options left to choose from plus the baked goods may not be as fresh as evident from my 2nd visit in March 2026 when I arrived after 6:30pm and they only had a few pastry options left. TIP 1 -- If you order the ham & cheese pastry, just simple ask them to heat it up for a few seconds before you eat it which is what I did. Otherwise, it won't taste as good because it will be cold as their baked goods are placed in display cases all day. Who wants to eat cold ham and cheese? Not me (haha). TIP 2 -- Download their app to get a free pastry with a purchase. The less valued item will be free. The sweet potato pastry ($4) that I got was free when I visited in March 2026. If you don't want to download their app, I was handed a sheet of paper with discounts after I ordered so be sure to ask for it when you are paying for your items. I didn't even know about their app yet until after I received the piece of paper with discounts. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 61/250 total reviews in 2026 - 902 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 30 April 2026

We ended up doing some serious window shopping and also got a very filling lunch here of tea, sandwiches, fruit, and kettle chips for about $55 after tax and tip. I could gush about how precious the whole place was, but if you have ever had afternoon tea in an old, historic home, then you get the idea. The menu has so many yummy options but we decided on getting tea and our own sandwich meal. I love sour cherry jam so I got the HammyJammy sandwich ($18) and my bf got a caprese sandwich with added chicken ($16 plus $4 for chicken) and we each got peach iced tea ($3). After about 15 minutes, our lovely server came back with the LARGEST PORTIONS EVER! Fortunately, we loved our food so having large portions of it made us both very happy campers. My ciabatta was fresh and crusty, the ham slices were thiccc, the bacon was fatty and salty, and the jam was generously applied. We also both recieved a good amount of fresh fruit and abive average kettle chips. Guys, the ham sandwich I got was so unbelievably good that I ate half there and then ate half very slowly at my home, enjoying every bite of the thiccccc ham, salty bacon, and generous swipe of sour cherry jam on the oversized ciabatta roll. My meal filled me up, of course, but I wish I would have ordered a half dozen more to eat for lunch every day this week. #soooobsessed. I can't think of anything negative to say. I really can't! While we didn't buy anything from the shop (I am trying to buy less stuff), we had a great time looking around, saw some fabulously unique items, and enjoyed a wonderful lunch together in a historic home. I only wish I lived closer!

We passed the time by looking around the gallery (multiple floors), but service/wait time could definitely be improved upon. The two of us were seated outside in the shade which was fantastic. There are only a few tables outside and inside, not sure what big groups look like? Our server was great, as she verbally recited their fall menu - which I ended up getting their fall strawberry feta salad and soup combo! The salads are HUGE - safe to say I had a whole meal the next day! The sandwich and pasta side was enjoyed as well. The food here is spectacular. Definitely give it a shot, but know that there may be a wait due to the small size of the place.
