Pretty good staple for Mexican brunch among other things. Service is ok. The pigeon above the awning is still the owner of the building.

I'm a huge fan of Swick 2. The Sunswick, Swick2's parent restaurant, did not have great food when we tried them, however I am so pleased that Swick2 meets my expectations every time. We recently moved into the area and I feel so lucky to have a place with AMAZING eats and friendly staff nearby. Their coffee is excellent. I would also recommend their pozole soup, enchiladas, chicken tinga tacos, and chilaquiles which are to die for.

No joke best Pozole in queens. Quesadilla out of this world. Real tinga de pollo made with chipotle. And the pastel imposible... Imposible que no te guste. Amazing food. Oh and you HAVE to get the granizado de Dulce de leche! Sorry Starbucks...They beat you! Good job Sunswick team!

$15 in Astoria for the cheapest pieces of chicken, okay sauce, and a square of rice?!

Perhaps the key to a 4+ star experience with S2G, at this point, is to dine in...because their delivery game needs a lot of work to be a contender in this area. And their price point on some items would need seriously charming ambiance, awesome service, and plating that masks portion size to be justified. To their credit, I received a call within minutes of them accepting my order to inform me that they didn't have two of the things I ordered. However, being out of two items at 9:45am on a Saturday makes me lift an eyebrow. Order arrived half an hour after the estimated delivery window closed. The Southern Omelette (pictured) was delicious! But came with no potato hash (the hash pictured on Yelp was the sole reason I decided to try them for a couple meals' worth of food...) or toast (so $7.50 for two items missing). How did it not catch someone's eye that a dish was being packaged with only half its content? The Mole Poblano (pictured) made me actually exclaim, "WTF?!" when I saw it. Small full leg, very small portion of cheesy rice that had what appeared to be/tasted like a frozen vegetable medley mixed in, and an just okay sauce. $15 and I was hungry an hour after eating it. I've paid as much in the Theater District (and less throughout the boroughs) for the same dish, but received more generous portioning, and more complex flavor to the sauce. Fortunately, the Cemitas with smoked pork chop was excellent! Though their chef/sous needs to pay better attention to prep, as I bit down on pork chop bone. They're new, and seem to be working to be a competitor with some area long standing brunch and cafe spots. I'm all about supporting new and small businesses, but the quality has to be there for me to do so. May try them again after enough time goes by where the training wheels should be off.....but the jury is out.

Took awhile to make but then this is not a premade Starbucks sandwich

A little surprised I have not reviewed this place before as been here many times for breakfast sandwich and a mocha. This place is affiliated with Swick but more of a coffee shop then Mexican cafe though a coffee shop cafe that has tvs. My breakfast sandwiches have always been good and have plenty of meat choices. Service is nice and though have limited seating always been able to get one.

I was staying at an AirBnB in Astoria, Queens, NYC, so I looked on Yelp for the best breakfast I could get at 6:30am locally. I walked about five blocks to this small store. There were five people ahead of me, so I waited and ordered a cafe latte and a breakfast burrito to eat there. The coffee was a very rich and tasty beverage. The breakfast burrito was full of scrambled eggs and chorizo sausage and was wonderful, just what I wanted before going to work in Manhattan on a cold and wet day. I felt valued as a customer while I was there.

I got chorizo tacos - they were great. My boyfriend got a steak quesadilla - it was also great. I ate all of it for him. And loved it so much I ordered it again just two days later. It's a small spot, not the fastest operation of all time - but hey they're new/small and the food was good enough for the wait. They have Stumptown coffee on tap so it's the perfect spot to pick up some coffee in the morning to get you through your workday to get home and order yourself some good mexican food because you know what, you earned it.

Quality coffee spot with a welcoming comfortable vibe. I'd rate their cold brew an 8 out of 10. Service was great and the tunes are solid. They offer anything from coffee to fresh juices to lunch and snacks.

Yum! This place is amazing. Huevos Rancheros cooked to perfection with Tinga de Pollo added to it. It was so good I ordered it again the next day.

Couldn't wait to eat this deliciousness, hence the half eaten food in photo

It ended up being the best decision we made all night. Emily, our server, was nice, attentive, and took great care of us. The food was just as fresh and delicious as at the taco stand at the QNM. The purple corn tortillas were incredible, the chicken was hot, juicy, and flavorful, the steak was delicious, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the mushroom taco. The restaurant has a fun, authentic Mexican vibe with colorful décor, a great playlist that really adds to the atmosphere, and it's honestly a cute spot if you want to snap a few photos. Everything was made fresh, and we'll definitely be back!

Also, the fryin cheese did not suit the soup at all- Oaxaca cheese tastes so much better with this type of soup & this is the only Mexican spot I know that uses something other than Oaxaca cheese. Needless to say, it did not work & rubbery cheese in soup is not it. I thought that maybe the soup from this place was a one off so I also ordered a couple tamales from here on a separate occasion as well. Unfortunately it was not a one off as the tamales were super dry & almost inedible because of that. I won't be returning back. Tamales super dry

No police in sight. You got the drunchies (drunk munchies) - so you decide to grab grub at the only place open at night ... This damn taco truck. Been coming here weekly till I was diagnosed with a fatty liver. Now I come here monthly. My friends enjoy their tacos. Some prefer the tortas (sandwich). I on the other hand, prefer the tostadas. It's 2 for $7. I'm getting one chicken and one salted beef. I ask for everything. "Make it spicy boss", I say. Roughly 7 minutes later, the guy in the truck is calling me telling me my orders ready. I proceed to ask for more hot sauce on the side. (If you're not getting the runs the following morning, is it really true Mexican food? Think about that). These guys have been here for years & recipe never changes. Tip: I prefer to pickup rather than order delivery because when you deliver sometimes they do take a while. Nonetheless, tasty. Bomb.
