The drink was good. It was nothing to write home about but it might become of the drink I ordered. I would recommend extra flavoring if your drink doesn't have a cream base. This was my first Swig experience, and while their menu is large with tons of options that can be a bit overwhelming (especially when in the drive-thru and you didn't study up on options beforehand), their staff is super friendly and will give recommendations. You are really the master of your own destiny here, so hopefully you pick a good combo of flavors you will enjoy! Quality ingredients are used. Fun thing to try in the Houston area but don't go out of your way. We ordered for kids size sodas all of them were good but nothing better than the dirty sodas I make at home! We also had the pretzel bites which were buttery and tasty. The reason for three star review is because of the staff/ambiance. We went inside because we wanted to have a moment to look at the menu instead of holding up the drive through. We ordered at the counter and everyone working there was super friendly and nice, but my issue has to do with the seating area. There were about ten seats in the building and ALL of them were taken up by Swig workers. I'm not sure what exactly they were doing, but it was like they were running a full on office and onboarding event out of the front of the house. One lady who appeared to be a manager had her bag on a chair, my mom asked to have the chair to sit, and the woman looked soooooooo mad about this. I understand that everyone needs a space to do their work but this was so bizarre and honestly a hostile environment towards customers. The menu here has a drink combo for every taste bud! There were so many options I didn't know which to choose from! My low rating isn't due to the product, it's because it took over 30 minutes to put in my order and receive it-20 of which was me waiting at the counter for someone to take my order. The workers were definitely rushing to make the drinks, so much to where my lid wasn't put on properly and some of my drink end of spilling all over my clothes. I ordered the Cherry Bomb and some cinnamon sugar pretzel bites. Both items were pretty mediocre, but still good in taste and flavor. I really liked that the pretzel bites came with icing. The store had great seating if you decide to go as a large group, although it was smaller inside. If I decide to come back, it'll be to try other drink combos, but I find it hard justifying the long travel to come back to service that wasn't the best. read more

I'm writing this review on behalf of our kiddos as I am not a soda drinker. Our kids recently got into the "dirty soda" scene and we have several in FL where we live. However they saw Swig advertised on social media so we had to try it ;). Our kids said it was the best dirty soda they ever had! So many options and great combinations. We learned that Houston (kind of) finally had a Swig earlier this week and within 5 minutes we were in the car making the 40 minute ride on up. Our Swig experience was pretty much identical to a few visits we had in Utah last week. It was a Mountain Dew-based Endless Summer for me and a Coke Zero-based The Founder for her, together with a round of pretzels. The service was extremely friendly and if the cars in the lot were any indicator, management was in town from Utah to get this store running. Would I drive 40 minutes for this again? Probably not. But I'm convinced a Swig could thrive in the loop. Who doesn't need a cold drink in this weather? Next time I am in the outskirts of Spring (I think), I'll surely stop by. read more

I was SO excited for this business to open that I had today's date saved in my calendar. I LOVE Dr Pepper & all the menu options they have for enhancing it so I was really looking forward to this. Unfortunately, I just didn't feel like it lived up to the hype. I will say all of the employees were extremely nice & helpful. Since today was the grand opening, lines were extremely long and business was booming. They were handing out take home menus & free cookies which I really appreciated, along with a free drink. I think that was a really cool thing for the business to do, especially for three days straight and they were slammed. I just felt like the actual drinks themselves fell short. I ordered a Raspberry Dream & my husband ordered a Beach Babe. At the window, he got his drink & they gave me the wrong one. They quickly corrected it and even let me keep the wrong one so we actually got to try all three. They just didn't taste much different than regular Dr. Peppers. I will say that the Beach Babe was really good & very unique so I was impressed with that. It's just the Dr. Pepper is what I was most excited for so that bummed me out. We came back today with the intention of paying for our drinks to try something new, but we were still able to try them for free. My husband ordered the Founder & I had the Texas Tab. While mine was good, I still think that I've had better at other places. My husband got literal Diet Coke and that's it. It doesn't taste like there's anything in it other than regular soda. It was supposed to have coconut cream even & it doesn't look creamy at all. When we got to the window for our drinks I noticed they had Coffee Mate Coconut Creamer lined up & were unloading bags of Sonic Ice. That just kind of surprised me since I thought they were supposed to be really unique & special and it seems like something I could do at home myself. With there being no speaker, you have to wait for someone to come outside to take your order. We showed up on christmas eve, unknowing of the changed christmas hours. They closed at 4, and we showed up at least 4-5 minutes before they closed. No one came outside to take our order until the moment they closed and told us they couldn't take our order. We could tell they were waiting until the second it turned 4pm to tell us. Offer discounts on app purchases like Sonic does. I often go to Sonic since it's half the cost bc of this, although these drinks are better imo. 2. Heat the cookies bc cold cookies aren't good. 3. The cherry flavor is weird and please offer cherry fruit!!! 4. It's odd that this location is next to an Aldi. Finally tried Swig after passing it up with the lines wrapped around the building. I can tell you one thing, the driveway is skinty , lol. Be careful with your tires. The young ladies did a great job with their service. Kinda reminds me of Chick-fil-A the way they were standing outside moving the cars along. Make sure you study the menu. It can be a bit overwhelming but I think once you get it, it'll be ok. We tried the beach bum. It was really good. A twist on a lemonade. They also sale bags of what we call , "the good ice". I plan on trying others. If anyone knows me I will create my own drink. read more

This place is fun!! I'm not a huge soda drinker but I came here with some friends that wanted to try it. The lobby was closed when we got there so we went through the drive through. The girl taking orders at the back was really helpful and answered all our questions - as it was our first time going there. I tried the Texas Tab and I was surprised to find that I enjoyed it! Swig is the best thing to grace Spring, TX. This place is seriously amazing. My entire family is hooked. I even went twice in one day with my friend because I got her hooked too. I've had a Coke, dr pepper, Mountain Dew, Fresca, multiple waters, and an energy option and they were all phenomenal. The waters are so good and refreshing (I got sparking water each time). The sofa options are so fun and such a good treat. ALSO the cookies!!! Amazing. The sugar cookies come out cold and are to die for. Attempted to use my "free" soda text, showed it to the cashier, who read from it and knew what size it would be, and still managed to charge me for it...didn't seem to care much either. Brought my 2 nieces here as a surprise. Both of them absolutely loved it. There's tons of drinks to choose from including sodas, smoothies, frozen chocolate drinks, and many more. It did take a while for them to make the drinks, but it was also pretty busy. My only critique would be the people working there were very friendly. I will honestly say that I do fully enjoy the drinks here. However, I believe that one thing to take into consideration when ordering here is that they often times are short staffed. I will say that although they are short staffed, they are efficient and productive to the best of their abilities. I think the one thing many people haven't quite taken into consideration is that their ingredients aren't necessarily "homemade," but they do still provide a quality soda with every one of my visits. I've ordered the raspberry dream many times, and have even crafted my own soda with what I think would taste good. I, thus far, haven't been disappointed.
