Well, I keep my cash next to my wallet in my pants and I was pretty sure that it was me that dropped the $20 bill. So when I got to my next stop, I looked at my cash and yes, I was missing a $20 bill. I could not believe that any employee would care about a customer and a $20 bill. Superstar. When we first arrived, we had to wait about 15 minutes because the salesperson was late opening the store. My mother was looking for a pair of sandals in the exact same style and color as a pair she has owned for many years. The salesperson, who had a European accent, ordered the color my mother wanted and told us she could modify the insert for approximately $30-$40. About two weeks later, we returned to pick up the sandals. At that point, my mother purchased an additional insert, costing approximately $200. The total purchase came to $549.53. She repeatedly assured us not to worry and said she would "make it right." Unfortunately, when my mother got home, she immediately noticed that the sandals did not fit or feel like her original pair and was very unhappy with them. We returned to the store and requested a refund. The salesperson initially resisted the refund and repeatedly told us that she would lose money if she refunded the purchase. I explained that this was not an appropriate way to treat a 90-year-old customer and that we would dispute the charge if necessary. She eventually agreed to take back the sandals and the expensive insert, but she still charged my mother more than $90 for the original modification. I asked to see exactly what had been done to the sandal. What I saw was essentially a small piece of cotton with a small piece of rubber attached to it. I was shocked that we were being charged more than $90 for this. The salesperson claimed it took her approximately 30 minutes to install it. I personally witnessed the work, and it took approximately five minutes. She also refused to refund that $90 charge and would not allow us to take the piece of material with us. We are now in the process of disputing that portion of the charge. The issue here isn't simply the money. It's the way the situation was handled. My mother is 90 years old, and we expected honest pricing, good customer service, and a willingness to make things right when the product didn't work for her. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. We left feeling that my mother had been taken advantage of, and I cannot recommend this shop based on our experience.

It's not easy talking to a male associate about women's clothing questions but he must have handled other similar situations as he knew right away what I was speaking about. I have never had one of their associates give me solutions/options when I didn't there would be any. It's a smaller location but Mason took the time to find items that happened to be in the back. It's street parking so it can be tricky during peak hours (such as lunch time today). I'd return just for the service as they went above and beyond today.
