Oh this was a delightful surprise! My sisters and I (in town this weekend) stopped here on our way to a destination to pick up a few things for the morning/drive. I got a strawberry filled donut, maple bar, breakfast bagel sandwich and hazelnut iced coffee. For starters, I'm not a coffee snob but I will admit I am particular... Final verdict: I liked it! The breakfast sandwich was a touch of home and I like it as well. While I've yet to try the donuts, my sister also got the strawberry filled and like it so something tells me I shouldn't be disappointed either. Would recommend stopping by! The owner seems to live there. Apparently he just works incredible hours. He's enjoyable to talk with unlike these places that hire bimbos that are limited. He's speedy and professional at all times. I had first tried to go to the Swiss Donut Shop at another location. On the north west corner about 1/4 mile away. It was closed. I thought I was going to have to drive a few miles because this donut shop is not listed on Waze. Then I tried google maps which showed this store was permanently closed! I listed on google maps the place was open but google can never be trusted. I suspect foul play. Give this donut shop a try! read more

Danish treats in Palm Springs! Yum yum! Although a donut place (and their donuts are yummy), this little gem of a coffee shop are selling what I can only describe as REAL DANISH PASTRY! Real Danish pastry never contains cheese (I am from Denmark), so what a nice surprise to find custard cream filled pastries that send me right back to my childhood :-) Will definitely come back for more when the sugar craving sets in. read more

We had heard of this donut shop and decided to give it a try. They had a great assortment of freshly made donuts , apple fritters and more! I left with one of the best fritters I've tried in recent months along with a packed jelly filled, chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and a few glazed and chocolate covered raised/twists. Terrific donuts and very professional and friendly owner. Stopped in while doing business in the area as it was near closing. The owner offered a giant box of mixed donuts for $5. It's been 3 days and last couple still eatable. We are going to be returning often, well as long as the waistline can stand it. The chocolate and maple bars were really delicious. read more

Lady working the counter refused to sell my partner a sandwich, and refused to disclose why. When I went in alone just 3 minutes after to order the same sandwich, I was not refused. During this, and previous, visits she was also inattentive: on the phone and laughing while taking my order. Donuts are usually great though! read more

I was a bit skeptic about how the doughnuts were going to be. About 3/4th of the glass counter was empty and it was a little before noon on a Sunday morning. My GF said that they probably got cleared out by all the golfers, etc. Nothing to go out of your way to get but if you're in the area, its a good place. They have a no glaze cinnamon / sugar buttermilk doughnut which I've never seen else where. Mmmm. p.s. There is a small fee to use credit cards so try to bring cash. read more

Went to pick up donuts. The man there was grumpy. I asked for a specific donut and he said they were out of those. This was at 6 am. I asked for cinnamon rolls and he smashed them when he picked them up with tongs. He put 2 in same bag which squished them even more. My last time going to this shop. read more

Their donuts are awesome. We bought a chocolate bar, a maple bar, and two lemon Bismark's. Pretty common flavours. I have to admit however, the lemon Bismark's tasted the way Pine Sol smells. I sprinkled some cane sugar from home on it, and it took the edge off the bitter odd taste. I've not tried any of the drinks there, but I think I saw the they have Boba. Pretty good donuts. Service was fine. Usually I pick donut shops that are close to home just for convenience. Noticed that Swiss had pretty good reviews. We've picked up donuts a few times from here. They are okay. I have had better, but these aren't bad. Apple fritter is probably their best. Wasn't excited about the regular glazed donuts or the donut holes. That's usually how I judge a good donut shop. Side note, they did forget to give me part of my order I was charged for. Be sure to check the order before you take off. read more

quick and easy. I cruised in to snag some donuts for my wife's office. I was in and out in 5 fast minutes. They had all the standard donuts here; maple bars, old fashioned, sugar.. they also have more creative offerings that had fruit loops on them, and some other one off creations. Doughnuts are great. But the Asian girl, working the register, hits me with, "DEBIT CARD READER BROKEN TODAY." Which in plain, simple English, means, bring CASH! This is a CASH ONLY run business. It is very clear to see this by reading the sun-faded post-it note on door that has undoubtedly been up for over a year or more. I went in at 8am ordered the same donuts I always order. Half dozen. It's always $5.75 however since the man was grumpy and has seen me in my old Jeep as I always back in to the same handicap spot in front of the door, today I drove my new car because I just traded in my jeep and all of sudden the same order of donuts I've always order is now not $5.75 but now it's $6.00. Am extra $0.25 for the same order. Probably cause he saw me in a new car and he hasn't sold any donuts today. Jerks. Won't be coming back. Hope it was worth losing a customer. Swiss donut is just two blocks from home and it a place that I stop on the way to P.S. If you stop more than 4 times the man behind the counters remembers your order, which is a nice touch. I always get the same donut, I think it's called a butter milk, super crunchy on the outside and super soft and yummy on the inside! There is another Swiss donut across the street, but I have never tried them. There is a third one in P.S. and they always add some donut holes with the donut !! read more

This shop has served our family well over the years. We have had about everything they make at one time or another, and none of us have any complaints at all. The fritters, donuts, cinnamon rolls, etc have been quite consistent in their taste and quality. One of my favorites is their ham, cheese and jalapeno croissants. First time in this donut shop, very limited selection at 11am. Maybe only 15 donuts total in case. I purchased 2 jelly filled glazed donut. Asian man behind counter told me $2.00. I handed a $5 and he gave me back only $2 change. I told him he needed to give me 1 more dollar. Now he said the donuts are $3, which is outlandish for 2 small jelly donuts! I stood there trying to talk to him and he ignored me and went on and waited on another customer. I thought he was very rude and was purposely ripping me off! While I rarely go here, the donuts are really really great. They are MUCH better than many I've had in the past. I love this place! Just make sure you come in early. They get cleaned out pretty quick. And bring cash - they charge for credit card usage. read more

Glazed donuts that are as flat as pancakes, maple bars with OLD HARD COAGULATED bacon (that I didn't order), soggy glazed buttermilk bars, jelly donuts that are all jelly (they're like eating a jar of cheap Smuckers). Their donuts are typically fair at best, but their usual substandard product seems to have taken a turn for the worse. I'll go back to getting them from Von's or the AM/PM, which tells you how poorly Swiss Donuts really are. read more
