I manage the building and was not at all familiar with this dishwasher, it had standing water in it and I did not know why- this was due to the dirty filter. This man is fair and honest. Bc my stove is 13 years old he told me, let me check the price on the part. If it's high, you'll be better off getting a new stove. It wasn't too high at all. And another thing that I loved about him .... Most appliance repair ppl won't come out to look at your appliance without charging a service fee. That's many companies policy, and that's their prerogative. I don't pay service fees and that's my prerogative. I usually like to get several quotes before I hire someone. What good is paying a $65 service fee, even if it's applied to my bill at the end, if I'm paying $100 more overall to that company than the next guy who will do it for less? But there never is a next guy is there? Rarely, bc you've just paid this company $65 and don't feel like losing it. What if you do want another opinion? Now you're paying another $65 service fee. It's a strange psychological money trap. Bek didn't charge me a service fee. I like the way this man does business. If I have another appliance that goes out on me, this is the person I will call, and I'd highly suggest you do too. read more
