Syberg's downtown is Stl culture. My wife loves Syberg's and the downtown spot - just like all their other restaurants has excellent customer service. This is a sad microcosm of our current Capitalism that has been detrimental to hard working Americans who are just trying to make a living. I visited Syberg's for dinner with my dad before the USA vs. Jamaica game at CITYPARK. We arrived around 4:30 PM, and the place was relatively open. I also had a Mellow Yellow to drink. The burger was delicious, though my only complaint is that the bun was too small for the burger, which made it quite messy when fully assembled! My dad ordered the Joe Mama pizza and six wings with Syberg's sauce, and he enjoyed his meal, as that's his usual go-to order. The service was good. I don't remember our waitress's name, but I think it started with an 'A'. She was great and took our orders from memory without any mistakes. Everything was excellent. However, once the restaurant got busy, it took a little longer for her to bring us the bill. We weren't in a hurry, so it was fine. Overall, I recommend checking this place out for its good food and service, especially before a soccer game, since the stadium is right across the street! read more

The food was spectacular. Reasonably priced and good portions. The porn and chicken were tender and I left satisfied. The problem I had was the lack of service. They expected you to seat yourself without any signage saying to that effect. Then you had to wait 10-15 minutes for a dour looking server to give a menu only to leave without taking a drink order. A sports bar-esque restaurant attached to the Pear Tree Inn hotel that makes stiff drinks but, also low quality food. The menu is extremely large, which was the first bad sign. When American restaurants try to do too much they usually end up failing at everything. I wasn't sure if it was the food or something else so, the next day I tested my luck and heated up my leftovers. And what do you know? I wasn't feeling well again... Now, dairy and me don't mix too well so, maybe it was all due to the provel cheese however, I'm not too sure. I ordered the provel grilled chicken sandwich with mushrooms and housemade chips. My dining partner ordered the Buffalo chicken pizza, which I also snacked on. Both tasted decent at the restaurant, nothing spectacular but like okay bar food. Especially the housemade potato chips and the thin crispy cracker crust on the pizza, those both impressed me. But, having to run to the bathroom over and over again after eating here didn't impress me. Honestly, it was so bad I declined to eat there the next night and stuck with drinks. We were in town for a concert a few weeks ago and stayed at a nearby hotel. Decided to grab a bite here since it was within walking distance and it had solid reviews. We walked in and the hostess said we could sit anywhere in the bar room. There was a lengthy wait before we saw our server but she explained it was just her handling the entire room (looked like about 15-20 tables). So we settled in for a slow moving meal, and I'm perfectly fine with that since we were given an honest heads up about it. The food came out hot and fresh. Pretzel bites were delicious, and the chicken tenders were incredibly juicy and well made. And when our server asked if we were ready for the check she hung out at our table so I could go ahead and pay instead of having to wait for her to make the rounds again (which I appreciate). This is one of my favorite places to go before a game or concert - grab a decent meal, partake in some value priced beverages, park for free, and grab a convenient $2 shuttle! On this trip, came here early (4:45) before the Eric Clapton concert and it was about 1/2 full. Patio seating was ample so grabbed table for the 6 of us. Great patio! Our server was Mikayla and she was cooking! This place was packed wall to wall by 5:30 and she seemed to be covering 1/3 of all the tables. Overall service was slow for this reason (and just one bartender), but she was a champ. She didn't seem phased and was working as fast as she could. She is a great server! We had multiple rounds of cocktails before the concert. They had a good selection of bourbons and beers, to our content. Food comments: - Famous Chicken Sandwich: GET THIS! Great sauce and decently cooked chicken. (3.75/5) - Chicken Wrap with Buffalo chips: the chicken and Sybergs sauce always hits. Buffalo chips were decent. 3.25/5 - chicken wings: Love the sauce! But the wings didn't seem to be exceptionally fresh or maybe over cooked. A tad dry. 3/5 - pretzel bites: really liked the sauce 3.5/5 Shuttle was packed! After the concert, we ended up in the back of the crowd waiting for a ride. We decided to walk the .6 miles. We decided to eat here since it's close to Beyoncé venue. I love this franchise, it never disappoints. Parking was ample. Building was under renovation so patrons all are on one side. Not cluttered but all in the same space it seems. Got seated quickly but it was still a wait. They were undecided on who to serve us , after that was agreed upon waitress came. Menu was cut from certain dishes as well as happy hr since inventory was low due to renovations. Nothing to complain about, just thankful I always get the same thing . Pizza and wings. I've been here 3 times and each time the drinks were better than the food. The food is good for what it is. Servers have been professional and friendly. This time I ordered the Veggie Wrap. The veggies were fresh which is normally great but I would've preferred the raw broccoli to be cooked a little. The mac and cheese was okay, I thought it was baked. Would give it a zero if I could. After a long day of travel I decided to try this place as it was connected to the Pear Tree hotel I am staying at. I have now been sitting here for 20 minuted in a seat yourself section and have not even been acknowledged, let along had an order taken. The staff just looks at me and finds other things to do. So finally now someone comes over and says the section is closed to which I point to the sign to which they replied the sign was not facing the right direction. Then I was told it was only appetizers, wings and pizza and I wanted something healthier. I will say the lady was polite and friendly when she did come over but a disappointing experience. read more
