Previous review was not saved. It started with horrible receptionist. I called to take advantage of a complimentary mini facial or massage. I was told that I had to be a customer which I was many years ago thru Groupon. She said she had no record of it. The thing is I have been getting their emails so I must be in their system. She said I could still get the comp mini facial if I booked a treatment. As I said in my previous review after thinking about it, I think they are phishing for work. I rated them a 1 on that alone and not any work done. That is fair and unbiased. So the owner, replied to my review. She made it so I was irate which is not true. So here was my response: Apparently Michelle is incorrect that i was irate. I told her I understood what she is telling me but how was I not a previous customer if I am getting this offer from their emails. She kept repeating the same line over and over again (that i can get the offer if I booked for one of their services - exactly what I said previously) so I said goodbye and hung up while she was repeating herself. The conversation was going nowhere and I already heard what she was offering over and over again. I got the Groupon deal for gel manicure and regular pedicure with a friend of mine. As you know with Groupon, it's sometimes a hit or miss. Thankfully it was a great hit with my new favorite manicurist, Myra! She knows her stuff, doesn't rush, and is very personable. She has overall great customer service. My friend and I are very pleased with our nails and will definitely be coming back for more :) Also, the place itself is very polished and clean, with a modern touch to it. It's now 4 days later and my nails have started to chip, the Nail Polish is coming off. I have done gel manicures before (not by this place) and they have lasted about 3 weeks. I called to make an appointment after purchasing my Groupon. I noticed Thursday was a late day (open until 8pm) and being that I get off at 5 I needed a little extra time getting there. I was making the appt last min so all that was available was a 5:30. When booking they ask for CC info, I'm guessing for cancellation fee. Aside from that, I got the gel mani and reg pedi! It was amazing! Mayra was my nail tech and she was very attentive and such a sweetheart! Also when you come if they offer water, tea, wine, snacks, etc. which was lovely! My husband got us facials through Groupon for Synergy last weekend. We arrived at our appointment time and were greeted by the friendly male receptionist. We were soon met by Michelle the owner who gave us both a facial. We both loved her! She was very knowledgeable about our skin types (both of us being different). She directed us on what types of products we should be using and how we should take care of our skin better. I'm always skeptical of service when using a groupon, however Michelle treated us like royalty and went above and beyond. They offered me a $15 upgrade to have a relaxing foot soak with minerals and herbs while Michelle did my hair. The salon is gorgeously appointed and has terrific natural light from an entire window wall! My daughter and I came here for a manicure/Pedicure. They only have one girl who does them, so we had to schedule back to back appointments, but that was fine. Mayra was amazing - very sweet and friendly and did a great job. My daughter said it was the best manicure she's ever gotten! She made us feel comfortable while we waited, offering water, snacks, and even wine. There were also cupcakes there that my daughter enjoyed. This seems to be a full-service spa, offering blow-outs, haircuts and colors, and I think facials and waxing. It's a very nice salon, very clean and modern and friendly. We will be back! read more

The last few years I have gone to red door/mynd spa for all of my haircuts. With them closing I had to find a new salon and pronto because covid forced me to go way too many months without a hair cut. I found this gem and am very happy. Staff was friendly, place was very clean and very cute. I had the owner who took her time doing my hair and gave me suggestions on what to do and what products to use. She did NOT push products on me like other places and was genuinely giving me tips. I loved that. I had been waiting to get a haircut for a while and finally decided to come into synergy beauty bar after walking past it a couple of times, as soon as I came in the girl at the front desk offered me a drink and told me to sit down in their waiting area and made sure I was comfortable! Stephanie was my hair dresser and as soon as I met her I knew I'd be leaving with a great haircut and that's just what I got! She was able to make my thick hair feel weightless and made me fall in love with my new shoulder length hair ! I came in with waist length heavy hair and left with the BEST haircut I've ever gotten, You for sure get your money's worth. I also spoke with the owner Michelle who was extremely sweet and kind. Bought a gift certificate for my wife to visit their Ritz location. Gel SNS mani only lasted her 2 days!!! After paying a premium for services at their Ritz location I expected better. Went here with a meni pedi groupon because I was pampering myself before an eventful weekend and as you know with Groupons it's either a hit or miss. I must say I was treated vary nicely by everyone in the salon. Jhoanna did my nails and she did an exceptional job. Everything she did was done with care and attention, and to my taste. I never felt rushed. In fact I felt she really took her time to make sure my nails came out looking gorgeous and stayed that way. I went in for a gel meni and pedi! Was glad they had a groupon for this service. At first sight, I thought the place is very cute and well set. I was greeted well. Unfortunately the lady who was working on my meni pedi had no patience, very rude and wasn't professional at all. This experience was so terrible because every second they remind you that you got a groupon, I asked her to clear/ scrub some extra roughness I had on my feet, she was like. Sorry groupon voucher doesn't offer such services as you have a groupon we will do the minimal possible cleaning. I would never go back with a groupon. I went to get my hair highlighted. When I left I was never so disappointed. My hair did have a few hight lights but to me my hair looked the same. It was still dark and not the blonde highlights that the picture we decided on looked liked. Not only that but I had to pay the full price for the service. I hate when a salon says come back and I will fix it. My questions is why would I have someone fix my hair that didn't do what I asked the first time. When I went to work two days later not one person noticed I did anything to my hair. That confirmed to me that what I told them was correct. The hairdresser and the others that worked there kept telling me how amazing it looked but I didn't buy it even when I was there. They kept showing me the before and after but not the after compared to the picture of what I showed them I wanted. Very disappointing. I came across this salon through a Groupon offer, and decided to get my Keratin treatment there. It was a little annoying that noone picked up the phone during business hours on a Wednesday, or responded to my voicemail - I almost gave up and booked the service elsewhere, but they did call me back the next day, and were able to accommodate me that same afternoon, fortunately. I say 'fortunately' not only because I was able to make an appointment for later that same day, but Maurice did a fantastic job with my long hair. I've come here just twice! I had a great experience as far as customer service goes. The greeted me immediately. Went above and beyond to make sure I am comfortable throughout my visit. I truly appreciate the service this nail bar offers. I was so excited about both my manicure and pedicure. It looked great coming out of the place. But my basic manicure polish chipped within the hour. I'm not exactly sure why. I had it done on the weekend and I'm off work for a bit (which involves me washing my hands a lot). So this is just odd! I can't attribute this to my own habits. I'm actually going to remove it after this picture because it looks terrible and is a bright color so it is very evident. I'm thinking for the price, maybe that explains why it lasted for such a short time but I really was hoping price didn't matter when it comes to providing customers with nails they will be satisfied with for longer than a week. I got there about 20 minutes late because of the parking. I had no idea where to park - very difficult to find parking specially walking with a walker. When I arrived, the lady that was going to do my mani/pedi took me to the back, never introduced herself and never said a word to me. I have never had such a fast pedi in my life! When she put the cream on my legs and TOP of my feet only, she did this in three seconds: no massage, no nothing - little does she know that this is the best part of the pedi! Then she started with my gel manicure, again very fast. I think she did a pretty good job but never looked at me or said a word. At the end, I went to the cashier and left an envelope for her with her tip - I found out her name was Mayra at that point. She came to the register area and never said thank you or good night or nothing. She was really very rude. The total time it took for a gel manicure and pedicure was about 40 minutes. That's definitely a world record! Needless to say, that is the last time they see my face. I will continue going to the wonderful Chinese women who know how to treat people and their massages are great! read more

There is no one who has ever cut my hair better than Michelle. She incorporates an artistic flare with science of face shape and overall presentation to produce the best cut and color for you.
