    That's Marvelous Hazy IPA

Unexpected cool find that ended with a delicious IPA and staying until they closed. The staff, laid back and true beer lovers. What other vibes do you need when hanging out at a brewery?! The back room, my FAV with a booth in the perfect spot to people watch.

Cool brewery with some retro vibes and excellent options for drinks. Been here a few times now and the draft list seems to change each time but if you have any questions they're always happy to answer. We got the Depending on the Scenario and the Soft and Quick as Shadows which are their the new dry hopped saison and lager beers. Both were really good and just full of flavor. The place itself is really cool with the retro interior and a nice little outdoor patio area. It's also very dog friendly. Parking however, can be very tricky for this area. Will continue to visit this area and excited for any new beers in the future.

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Nice beers, fun theme. Stopped in with some friends for a post-hike drink. We were sad to see that Gunwhale was no more, but hey, another brewery! Not sure what the synths-beer connection was, but whatevs, all the 80s-style graphics were fun. I wanted to keep things light and Just had the Lazer Lager (light, crisp, refreshing). I had a taster of the martini seltzer and found it a little too sweet for my palate, but the hubby liked it. The bartender was friendly and they had cool 80s-style shirts. The end.

Synth Beer was in a heavily trafficked area with a difficult parking lot! There were other things nearby which we made a little pit stop here and there. Upon walking in, we were already amazed with the theme and decor. We came up to the beertenders to look at the menu and noticed we had limited options. They didn't have an IPA so I opted for the West Coast Pilsner called "Damn you, Gravity". Not many words were exchanged between me and the beertender. We took a seat in the back. Took a sip of the beer and I can't say that I was amazed. I'm a west coast fan and lover of hops, but I wasn't loving it. I think I will have to come back. Their menu had a "coming soon" sign on an IPA, and I think that will have to be my calling to try this place again.

Mother's Day is a tough one for me, so we enjoyed a leisurely day of breakfast, shopping, then a few beers at Synth before settling in for the evening. The ambiance is super chill and cute. Very friendly staff. Tasty beers. Check it out!

This brewery has great selections of drinks and including Pistachios. The employees and bartenders are always friendly and they recognize us every time we're here. The patio has great views of sunsets

Dog Rescue Event hosted at Synth Beer

My friend invited me to a dog rescue event at Synth Beer, and I had such a great time! I ordered the Lychee Mocktail, which was delicious. The staff were all super friendly, and the space has two large TVs, making it a great spot to watch sports. Everything was clean, including the bathrooms--which I definitely appreciate! I'd love to go back.

I have been loving this place! It is the perfect brewery, that always has a rotating cocktail inspired beverage for those of us that don't like beer (me). I got the lychee martini recently and it was so good! Very much on the sweet side though. They also have seltzers and hard iced tea along with the plethora of beer options. The prices here are really good, I think my drink was around $8. The beers are around this price too and cheaper. The ambience inside is cute and eclectic. We have been coming here for date night for a couple drinks and playing cards. It is on the smaller side with not a ton of seating, so I wouldn't recommend for super large groups over like 6 people. Also so fun when they have a food stand outside! Service is also super friendly. Will continue to go back here.

Beer is delicious. I had the Uncle Jessie and a Laser. The people working were super nice and the decorations and design of the bar were cool. I'm coming back.

Does Synth Beer have food trucks on property?

They have food trucks sometimes. As they are expanding hours they have them more and more often. But there are many food options close by, and they don't mind if you bring food in.

It has plenty of indoor seating, with even more picnic table/bench style seating outside. I love coming here in the summer when the sun is setting and the warm air starts to settle, peak experience. The service is fast and friendly, whether you're going togo or dining in, they are always great. Whenever I have questions regarding the beer selection, they always have an answer waiting. Speaking of beers, they have plenty of house made brews as well as some local and unique offerings. I tend to gravitate to seltzers or lighter beers and they plenty of choices for me to grab. I love the Lavy Lemonade, Flying South, Like Super Profound, and the New Adventures: Nitro. Their menu does change so please make sure to check what they have avoided when you go. The Like Super Profound was a Japanese beer, light but great taste, and the Nitro was smooth. I don't doubt anything on their menu currently is not worth trying while you're there. The food is also great, the pretzel, and wings hit the spot for me and my girlfriend as an appetizer for a movie while we sat and drank waiting for the start time. The chicken sandwich was hot and crispy, on the smaller side but good nonetheless. The tots, regular or loaded are just chefs kiss, always crispy, must order if you are there.

But I was caught off guard by the lack of music and overall how quiet the whole place was. I went on a Friday and there weren't many people there, which isn't bad just something I had noticed. Very stark comparison to the other breweries in the area, which were much more lively. The beers itself were decent; however, there were no prices posted anywhere on the chalk menu, or the paper menu from what I saw. I ordered 2 drinks, one of which needed to have the keg replaced. When the attendant returned she said they were actually completely out, but the drink I had ordered was a double IPA, and without any prices posted or itemized receipt, I wasn't sure what I was able to get instead. The attendant then tells me "if you get something cheaper, I won't change the price" which confused me. A double IPA is typically more expensive than a regular beer or seltzer and she didn't even offer a refund to compensate for the fact that it was sold out and I had already paid for it. This could have been mitigated if the prices were available or she offered me an itemized receipt. For 2 beers I paid $20 before tipping. As a customer I'd like to be informed of what I'm getting charged for, and if I'm charged for something more and given less, I'd like a partial refund. In the end I got my beers and sat down. The brewery itself doesn't serve food, so it was nice being able to bring my own food and est what I want. Again, up until 30 minutes of being there, no music was playing, so very off putting vibe. Overall, I did not enjoy my experience here and don't recommend anyone coming here when other breweries are in tbe area and much more clear with pricing and have a more lively vibe.

We went on a Wednesday, which is bingo night. I believe Tuesday is trivia night. The outdoor setup is great, especially on a nice evening. You can order up front, and occasionally someone will come around to the tables too. Service was good and everyone was friendly. They also had a pizza vendor there making thin, crispy pizzas, which were pretty good and perfect with a beer. I heard Flashpoint recently celebrated their sixth anniversary with a big party. We missed that, but even on a regular Wednesday night the place had a great vibe. Big bonus for me, I was able to ride my bike here from home, which made the night even better. Overall, just a cool, casual brewery with good beers, a nice outdoor area, fun weekly events, and a great atmosphere for hanging out with friends. Definitely recommend it and would come back.

CALVIN IS THE BEST BARTENDER EVER…read more Summary: Fascinating place; wonderful drinks; adorable setup (confession booth; actual carriage...); on-theme decor (don't drink every time you see a cowboy with a poodle for your liver's sake, please.) Review: My partner & I were across the street at the shopping center & I wanted to hit up a bar since we don't know the area. I was the one who found this on Yelp, and he was like ...yeah, idk. I thought it'd be cool so we crossed the street & walked over. Okay, he literally fell in love with this place. A coworker recently asked him for a bar rec & he mentioned Cowboys and Poodles!! The concept is very cute (being a speakeasy) & when we came in we were greeted by Calvin who is hilarious & who makes excellent drinks. They had this very intriguing drink on the menu & he helped me decide. I would for sure come back & have it again + try the others. My partner noticed the very extravagant and peculiar decor here. The ceiling of the confession booth literally has cowboys ON poodles (!!!). He hypothesized it's all custom-made bc this is just too random. We loved it! My partner found himself counting down the seconds until these guys got out of the carriage, LOL. We swooped in immediately. It was sooooooooo cute! & strange! We pretended to be some kind of royalty in a different century. Whaaaaat a vibe. Saying again that Calvin is the best Even if this place wasn't so cool, his banter + his drinks would've still led to 5 stars. Come see for yourself!!

I searched Yelp and this came up a couple miles away and we liked the name of it. Haha! Cute little place. And I mean, LITTLE. Not big at all and hard to maneuver once inside. Pretty cramped. Hard to get a drink. Had a group of 4 people totally cut in front of me and my husband. We went to the other side of the small bar and waited several minutes.... Fortunately, the girl in front of me was sweet to offer to order our drinks for us. The decor was fun and festive but we won't go back. Not our style, not our type of bar to hangout in. Plus we pretty much surpassed the general age of the crowd. Like probably by at least 15 years. HA!
