So I heard about this breakfast item called the Mile High Tower - which is chicken, potatoes, shrooms, cheese under hollandaise sauce . So I came in to try it . Service was fabulous as the host is also the bartender and server . It was 7am so I am competing with people grabbing breakfast sandwiches on their way to work . The tower was .. interesting , worth a try but not something I would get again . Place is cute , affordable and worth a look
Stopped by for breakfast as it had been awhile since we visited this location. Surprisingly it was not crowded for a Saturday morning and we were seated right away. Crack bacon is our go-to starter and it never lets us down. The yogurt bowl, coconut French toast slice (side order) and the breakfast sandwich were fantastic. The sandwich came with loaded tots that were tasty and had a bit of a kick to them. Service was fast and our waiter always checked in with us. We'll be back!
Loved my breakfast at Syrup Downtown! The food was fantastic from start to finish. I went with the chicken sausage option, and it was flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The eggs were cooked exactly right -- well-done and still tender, just how I like them. The loaded tots were awesome -- crispy, cheesy, and full of flavor -- and the pancakes had that perfect crispy edge that makes them unforgettable. Service was excellent -- friendly, fast, and attentive without being overbearing. It's clear the team here cares about both the food and the experience. Highly recommend Syrup Downtown if you're looking for a brunch spot that gets all the details right. I'll definitely be back!
I enjoyed Vegan Garden omelet made with Just Egg (R) with added avocado minus the Feta. Also added "habanero tomatoes" which were enjoyable with less intensity than expected,so don't be afraid to try them. Asked that the "diced potatoes" be extra crispy. They did that and they are nicely spicy as well. My spouse enjoyed the Vegan veggie Breakfadt Bowl with added Just Egg (R) It has more veggies than the omelet, so if that is your preference, it's a choice that fulfills it. We share so we got to try and enjoy both dishes. The orange juice is not from concentrate but squeezed offside. It tasted fresh. We had a choice of oatmilk or almond milk for non-dairy creamers for our coffee. The drip coffee is typical. I enjoyed my first cup black. I called ahead and confirmed they had Vegan options on the menu. I 2as told they had Just Egg (R), Black beans, and avocado. The option for Vegan Egg Substitute is clearly marked on their printed menu for multiple dishes. I enjoyed getting dry sourdough toast and using a little avocado on it instead of butter. Overall the food was good, staff was attentive, and location just a few blocks away from the AC Hotel (and Le Meridian Hotel - same building) where we stayed which unfortunately did not have any adequate Vegan options for us today. For us it was walking distance. I am bookmarking this restaurant to go to again the next time we stay in this part of Denver for shows at the Denver Performing Arts Center.
Upon arriving in Denver, we were starving and looking for a great breakfast spot, and Syrup absolutely delivered. The food came out quickly, which was exactly what we needed after traveling. I ordered the chicken and waffles, which came with a spicy syrup and honey mustard ,both dipping sauces were incredible and paired perfectly with the chicken. The chicken strips were breaded to perfection: lightly coated, perfectly crunchy, and not greasy at all. I also had a hazelnut latte with oat milk, and it was delicious, smooth, flavorful, and not overly sweet. If you're visiting Denver or just looking for a solid breakfast spot, Syrup is definitely worth the stop. We left full and very happy!
This place is recommended to me by my sister and I am so glad I listened to her. The walk from our hotel was really nice and the restaurant itself is super cute. It was not busy at all on a Tuesday morning. They do take reservations, which was nice just in case and I found out they deliver! The food was beyond amazing, and who doesn't love mimosas with different choices of juices! The staff were friendly and helpful! If you're a breakfast/ brunch person, I would definitely recommend this place
This place is a little bit of a walk from the convention center area where we were staying, but stopped here while walking to pick up a rental car for a day trip. It sits in a business district and is tucked at the bottom of building that also houses a shopping area. In the morning for real fast time , there wasn't much happening at the shaping area, but Syrup was definitly open. Our server was open of the most friendly people we encounter! Fun, kind, and helpful. The food - fantastic!!!! I had French toast with a sampling of a couple of their unique syrups. Out of this world!!! Don't miss this place!
I found this place three years ago when I came for a show at Red Rock and decided to revisit on my current Red Rock trip and it was just as amazing as I remembered! My friend and I stopped in around 1130 on Saturday morning and were able to be seated right away. There was no wait which was a change from my previous visit. The menu was just as extensive as before and I ended up getting the breakfast burrito which was absolutely amazing!!! The portions here are huge!!! I also got to split my friend's side of French toast since I didn't have room for the full French toast since my burrito was so big. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Denver thats looking for a great brunch spot that won't break the bank.
Rudest service I've experienced in a restaurant. I understand it was New Year's, but the waiter calling us "dear" does not make up for impatience or unfriendliness. I asked for water after being acknowledged and was ignored, yet the table next to us was given water immediately when they asked. It made the difference in treatment very noticeable and uncomfortable. Because not many places were open, this was our first time here, and unfortunately it was not a good experience. The bill was about $25 for a meal and a drink, which is reasonable, but service matters. I'm from California and have never been treated this way at a restaurant before. It honestly felt like assumptions were made about us, and I felt unwelcomed. The environment itself felt dull and lacked liveliness, which didn't help. The food was okay at best. The sausage didn't look appetizing, and the safest choices were the French toast and syrup. Good service could have made up for the mediocre food, but it didn't. I initially planned on tipping since it was New Year's, but after being treated rudely, having a simple request denied (switching hot chocolate to water right after ordering), and then having the server turn to my other party to wish them Happy New Year while ignoring me, it felt intentional and disrespectful. The first staff member we encountered was kind, which makes this even more disappointing for the rest of the experience. Overall, not a welcoming experience, and I wouldn't return based on the service alone.

Located inside what appears to be a mall / shopping center. Staff was friendly and attentive without being overly present! Food was decent; my French toast was wetter / flimsier than I anticipated but taste wise it was fine. I enjoyed the blackberry syrup (reminded me of a boysenberry jam I used to eat when I was young). A really great brunch spot for foodies! I got the breakfast tacos and was absolutely blown away by the flavor and amount of food they provided! The taco shells were completely filled with eggs, fresh pepper and onions smothered with queso! They did not hold back on the amount of food in each taco! This place was okay. Pros- The environment is really nice, the wait was not long at all even on a Sunday morning which shocked me, and there are many great things on the menu. 3.5 stars. Originally I wanted to take my in-laws to Snooze, but their online waitlist was inaccurate, so we needed to find somewhere to sit sooner. We ended up at Syrup, which is a casual diner inside a corporate building. The waitress was a little rude, throwing shade at my in-laws for not telling us about the menu QR code sooner. It was one of the small but annoying moments of our time there. She was dismissive the whole time, but maybe she was just having a bad day? Anyways, I enjoy how much variety the menu has. I settled on the Jalapeño Popper omelette, which had jalapeño, bacon, jalapeño cream cheese, cheddar cheese, crispy fried onions. It looked plain but tasted fresh and amazing. Alongside that, I had a spicy Bloody Mary, which is making my mouth water as I type this. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food, and by the time we left, there was a long line out the door. Syrup is one of the popular Sunday brunch spots that will get busier as the day goes on, so get there early! Love that Sunday parking is free downtown, so you shouldn't have any trouble getting here unless you're trying to go during the week. I'll eventually get over the poor customer service experience and try coming here again. It's a low key, family-friendly spot with something for everyone on the menu. read more

This. Place. Is. Awesome. The beignets. The bacon. Got these for appetizers. Boy they were good. I got the Cherry Creeker Benny. Wow it was good. My husband got the kitchen sink. The gravy on it was amazing. So flavorful. My friend got the coconut French toast. Wow it was good. Her husband got the Elvis French toast. So much flavor. So much going on. Wow. Our server Alex was the best. Gave us great advice for being in town from Ohio. Talked to us about what we were gonna do. Made sure we knew to drink lots of water. Great guy. We will absolutely be back next time we are in town. read more

We just arrived in Denver, CO for the first time on land. We wanted to find a place to eat breakfast. This place popped up on the radar. I enjoy finding a place that isn't a chain place and smaller breakfast location. We arrive and it's in a office building which is find and not a turn off at all. We were greeted immediately and settled in. Based on some of the other reviews our experience was amazing. Our waiter was a gentleman. He immediately earned points and provided us waters quickly, as we reviewed the menu. We ordered coffee, tea and my wife received a mimosa which is up her alley. I ordered the chicken waffles which were great. So different because they use a spicy syrup. Our waiter said did you try the syrup before pouring it in. I said no, then tried and said I like spicy. He mentioned where it's from and where it originated. It added an extra bite to the food. The service overall was superb. Our waiter knocked it out of the park. Loved this place and will stop here again when we are in Denver. read more

This location is quite dainty and well put together. Located in downtown Denver, the inside is very white, bright, and gives a clean feeling. There is a mixture of table seating and booth tables and it a relaxed environment. With a combination of good service, a clean well maintained area, and (in my personal opinion) a great music selection, this location is ideal and should be a preferred breakfast la toon if you find yourself in downtown Denver. Moving on to the food, if you love breakfast or brunch this a a must go to! Their breakfast items are unique, tasty, and displayed beautifully. The portions are large and fairly priced! They have put great effort into their menu items and it is easy to tell. They also have a selection of alcoholic breakfast drinks as well. The only downside I have to offer about this location is that some of the food came out colder than the others. This may be due to the fact that our order was larger and we had many items. This doesn't take away from the fact that the food was still exceptional! This a a great choice for a breakfast spot and I do recommend :) read more

We read about this place online and it looked great. We went and were able to be seated pretty quickly despite it being very busy. The waitress we had was pretty good with coming to check on us and keep our drinks refreshed. I had the blackberry mimosas. It was so delicious!! For brunch I had the Sweet and Savory pancakes. They were the BEST PANCAKES I HAVE HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!! It was the perfect mix of sweet and filling. There was pecans, bacon, and sausage cooked into the pancake batter. They were served with pecan butter as well. First time having that, but it was beyond great!! I look forward to trying something new on the menu on my next trip to Denver. I highly recommend this place!!! read more

Looking for a place to eat in downtown while running errands. The location can be difficult with parking as it is nestled in a hotel/apartment complex. But once inside it is much bigger than you would expect. We had excellent service and got great recommendations on food. The green chile was delicious, we got the queso on the side and would highly recommend so you can smother your food in it! read more

To end our trip in Denver we visited syrup. It was delicious Ordered:crack bacon 10/10 And a pretzel Turkey sandwich 10/10 Staff is really attentive. Weekday is perfect to come for a family breakfast. Keep an eye open when heading there since it's inside a building. read more

The first thing I look for when traveling is breakfast/brunch places, and I was so happy to find Syrup! We got there at opening, and it filled up quickly! The Mile High Tower was scrumptious! Can't wait to go back! Lovely staff, too! read more
You could smell the sweetness before you even entered! I was skeptical visiting this establishment as it is located in an office building. The food itself was a 10/10, but what docked some points was the slower service and general helpfulness. Food: absolutely delicious. The portions are a large size so we all left happy with even some left overs. The Nutella stuffed French toast was the best. So flavorful and hit the spot for a sweet breakfast. I wish it came with sides but it does not. I had to order the side of bacon À la carte. The Beignets were plentiful and crispy. Very happy with the taste of the food and menu options. Service: the service could be improved. It took a long time to receive the food after ordering. The waiters did not stop at the table enough to check in. We had to get up ourselves to get silverware, napkins, and To-go containers. The coffee was also a huge problem. The first cup of coffee served was not hot, it was barley tepid. The next coffee brought to warm it up was better, not great. Third cup was tepid again. The coffee was simply not hot enough and not cold enough to be iced coffee. It was just bad. Syrup is located in the bottom of an office building with no street access. You have to go in to the office building to enter. There is wifi available. Bathrooms are in the lobby area and require a code to enter. There isn't much of an ambiance, i would not say it is trendy or hip. Overall this was a nice breakfast place, the food was delicious. Do you HAVE to stop here? Not necessarily. It's about a 12-15 minute walk from the opera house area. read more

We were looking for a place to eat before we went on our day and remembered seeing this place on our way to the game the night before. One thing I recommend is getting there early. They quoted us a wait time of an hour and we got there around 11:30am. We didn't wait the full hour but waited about 45 mins. All the food on the menu sounded delicious and I couldn't decide between savory or sweet; we ended going sweet. The French toast slices look thin but they're taste was big! They had a good crunch, flavoring/syrup sauce was yummy and we would definitely go again if we are in town! read more
Syrup was close to our hotel so we came in on Monday and grabbed a seat at the bar. The good news is we ordered mimosas they were big!!! The menu is large with many sweet and savory items. I would have loved to have a pancake and eggs and bacon but they didn't have that choice. I ordered the vegetarian Benedict and my hubby had the hash omelet. there was about a 30-40 minute wait when we arrived, although there was a lot of space to sit and wait which was convenient! I was able to look at the menu online while waiting, so I knew exactly what I wanted and was ready to order by the time I was seated at a table. all of the staff that I encountered were very friendly. the restaurant itself is a good size with plenty of tables to accommodate the amount of business they seem to get regularly. I built my own omelette and got two pieces of French toast instead of the tater tots that come with it - the coconut syrup and pecan butter were sO yummy!! the omelette was nice and fluffy, and they had a good amount of options to add to it. very nice breakfast to end our trip to Denver on a good note :) read more

Oh so worth the money! Come hungry cuz there are only large portions. I really wanted to try the churro donuts, sandollar (not my sandollar size but wow!) pancakes, eggs your way, a benedict, an omlette, and the oatmeal. Well I became an over stuffed French toast with churro donuts, sandollar pancakes and the Wisconsin benedict! And I was sharing! But a for sure stop if you're in Denver. They are busy so you should expect a wait. Oh the syrup? Yum! I had the strawberry and I got the house syrup with a hint of strawberry. It wasn't too sweet. You taste maple syrup with strawberry hanging to hit you after. So try a flavored syrup here or you'll regret it. read more

This place is actually a good brunch/breakfast spot. Located within a shopping mall type building, there is plenty of space and interesting places to go to while waiting for a table. In addition while waiting, we were allowed to get drinks Which made it easier to pass the time. I got the mile high tower which was a make sure scrambled egg, smashed tater tot's, chicken, mushroom, onion, and cream cheese. I also got a side of green chile pork. I thought it tasted really good and was filling. In addition, I also got a mini waffle flight to satisfy my sweet tooth and I sure did. I will definitely come here again. read more

A friend and I stopped in while in Denver on a work trip and were very happy with our choice! My breakfast tacos were delish! Wish I could have gotten a variety platter of multiple things on the menu because it all sounded and looked great! Our waitress was wonderful also! read more

Marcel is an amazing host. Breakfast is solid. Location is excellent and serves the surrounding hotels well. I had the green chile huevos rancheros one day and the fruit and yogurt another. Both hit the spot. Coffee could be better but the food makes up for it. I'll be back. read more
We've never had coconut French toast and they have a unique style. Rather than sliced bread, it's baguette bread. Th coconut flakes are toasted on with a coconut syrup. I don't think you'll find this anywhere else so I highly recommend. I got egg benedicts with reuben and it was good as well. Service was great. read more

Stayed overnight in Denver for the Parade of Lights and was looking for a place to grab breakfast near our hotel. We walked a couple of blocks and entered Syrup. There was a little bit of a wait but it couldnt have been more than 5 minutes. The host was very gracious and friendly. After we were seated, the waitress made sure baby had a sippy cup with water which was very much appreciated. We order egg scrambled for baby, blueberry pancakes for husband and mixed berry pancakes for me. Food was tasty and it came out fairly quick. My pancakes tasted a little bit like cinnamon which is something to consider if you dont particularly enjoy cinnamon. But otherwise, pretty good. The service was friendly and fast but not rushed. I would definitely return if I was in Downtown Denver. read more
