This was my first time in Naples. I was here for business when my colleague suggested this restaurant. We were sat at a table near the window where we could watch the sunset on the water. The most picturesque setting and ambiance for what was nothing short of an amazing meal. My colleague and I shared the Alaskan crab legs which were juicy and perfectly cooked. For dinner we had the Chilean sea bass, again perfectly cooked and please make sure to try the cauliflower. That was my favorite part. T- Michael himself came over to make sure everything was perfect and Morgan, our server was a dream. We finished our meal with a creme brûlée that was better than most places in NY. Overall can't say enough wonderful things about this restaurant and absolutely will be back next time I am in Naples! read more

I grew up in restaurants. My dad was the general manager of the biggest restaurant in Cleveland Ohio. (The Theatrical Restaurant). Anyone and everyone know this night club. It is gone now and my dad is 93. But, this is letting you know I am serious. My Uncles had restaurants and my brother has a tavern. Ok, the place was very nice but a bit crowded it looked like they added tables. We all ordered filets, my sons girlfriend ordered the special. My husband and I got the 6 oz and it was very spicy. I called my brother who has been in the business for42 years he said the chef decided to rub the filets with crushed peppercorns it was horrible. The server was great she had a lot of personality. The ladies room had a lot to be desired it was old and a mess. I find Marco Prime on Marco Island to be more superior. read more

First time in Naples for my boyfriends birthday and I must say, I couldn't have picked a better restaurant to dine at for his birthday dinner. From the moment we walked in, we were kindly greeted by the hostess's whom let us know that our table would probably be another 10 minutes. We got sat before our reservation at 8pm so that was great. Our table was right in front of the beautiful water, such a perfect ambiance. Our server James was very attentive and professional and made sure our meals throughout the night were perfect. The food was A M A Z I N G, my boyfriend had a filet with 2 lobster tails and I myself had a NY strip with a side of mashed potatoes and broccolini. For dessert he had a complimentary molten lava cake and I had a slice of the apple pie with a scoop of ice cream (definitely recommend). So overall this restaurant exceeded my expectations and made my Nan's night so much more special because everything was perfect. And to top off the whole night the owner himself T. Michael caught us on our way out the door, wished him a happy birthday, asked us how our dinner was and introduced us to the bartender, Kevin, who's from Philly because we told him we come from Philly as well. And he let us know the next time we come to Naples and dine in Kevin will hook us up. Lol. He also then went on to kindly take our pictures for us and told my boyfriend who is also a chef that next time we come in he'd give him a tour of the kitchen! This was our first visit. We were a party of three, one steak was served way under cooked. No follow up from management or server.The food runners stopped by on two different occasions with someone else food. When food was served on warm plates they handed the plate to you. I was surprised with the service. After the steak was cooked to the order the food was great. The atmosphere was fabulous. BACK TO BASICS We eat out 6 days a week. I'm getting tired of restos trying to out do each other on the the latest iteration of "avant garde" fancy food. T Michaels delivered. Wasn't sure what to expect, some good reviews mixed with others that knocked the service. Upon arriving, we were greeted very warmly by the hostess and the Maitre D and promply shown to a table overlooking the bay. The decor was a little dated, but not too bad. Bladimir, our waiter, was outstanding. Didn't hover, but he was always there before we had to ask for something. The only knock is he could have warned us we ordered a lot of food, as we were unsure of the portion sizes. One dish, the LAZY LOBSTER Lobster in Panko, paprika and other things was unique and different, but really good. BUT, it was expensive (worth it), we definitely could have shared one order. The onion soup was hearty, the broth was rich and tasty with a touch of sherry, and overflowing with great cheese. The green beans were very fresh and buttery, excellent. I first have to say that I am shocked that this restaurant is only rated 3 stars this is definitely a 5 star restaurant! I recently dined at T-Michael's when I was in Naples. I wanted to find a nice place to eat at since we were celebrating a special occassion. Im sure happy I picked T-Michaels. I have to say I was a bit skeptical at first since their reviews seemed to be mixed, which after dining I don't understand because this has to be some of the best food and service that I have ever experienced at any restaurant in very long time. Once we arrived we were seated right away by the corner near the window, which was great because I had requested window seating.The overall ambiance of the place is very romantic. It is right on the water. Our server Josh was very friendly, and knowledgeable. He made sure that we were well taken care of. The owner of the restaurant came by and introduced himself he also brought over two of the most delicious shrimps I had ever tasted that were wrapped in bacon and with a side housemade bbq sauce. It was absolutely delicious! To start I had the lobster bisque, which was very rich and had actual lobster meat in it unlike some restaurants who serve it without. For my entree I ordered the petit filet mignon and my bf at the time ordered the snapper that was stuffed with crabmeat with the double baked potato, which was on special. My meat was a bit more red than I usually like it but I didn't care because both dishes were delicious. After dinner basically the whole staff came out and sung my bf happy birthday and presented him with a key lime pie. My bf also ordered an espresso. When we received the bill we were shocked to see how little we spent it was only $91.00 for two. They didn't charge us for the shrimp, the desert, or the coffee. Their prices are very reasonable based on the overall location, atmosphere, and service plus with every entree it includes potatoes and asparagus most fine dining restaurants charge everything al la carte and then you end up spending a small fortune. Three stars is simply the best I can do. We had the salmon and the 10oz filet which were both pretty good quality cuts of meat though very simple. The salmon was very good. The sides were incredibly disappointing. The chop salad was like something you would get at a below average local restaurant and the twice baked potato almost seemed like it was frozen not freshly made. I returned the potato but unfortunately not the salad. Overall it seems to me that an updating of the menu, presentation and flavors would go a long way considering the price of food. read more

My family ate here a couple weeks after hurricane Irma hit. I normally don't love ordering filet from a steakhouse, since I always feel it's not seasoned well enough.... however, this filet was completely seasoned to perfection and I was able to cut it with my fork. My husband had the prime rib and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the lobster bisque to start, again, wonderful with chunks of lobster in the soup. We ended with the cheesecake. My sister and I were in from out of town and this place was recommended by locals. Specifically the bar menu and area. It was great! Best meal all weekend and we ate at some places on 5th Ave. My sister had the crab legs and I had the blackened grouper sandwich. Both we highly recommend. The bartender was attentive and prompt and even held our food for a couple minutes while we decided to squeeze in a yummy wedge salad. Next time in Naples this is a definite must! Saw online that this place was doing a complimentary veteran's day meal so my husband and I made reservations so he could indulge. Glad we made reservations since it was packed! This was our first visit (4 of us) to the restaurant and we were very pleased with the view (table by the window with a water view), the food and the service. Great location in Venetian Village...we went a few weeks back for their Tuesday night happy hour which seemed very popular. They had a whole pound and a quarter Maine lobster on offer for something like $18 which I thought was a steal and I kicked myself for not ordering it. Instead, I had the fried grouper sandwich. It was good, but...a bun, grouper, tartar sauce...for what it was it was good. I would definitely go for the lobster next time and feel like an idiot for not getting it. Interior is great! Food was very good! Happy hour was VERY popular! Location is awesome...but I do have one small complaint... I wanted a mojito and they didn't have any mint...for an upmarket place like that and clearly one that is always very busy, I find that unforgivable and it really annoyed me. I have restaurant experience so it probably should not have, but the waiter had a "SOL" type attitude and essentially told me with his body language to "get over it" and order something else... Oh, we had the mussels too and they were very good - a whole bowl of them for 8 bucks...maybe it was all just the crazy happy hour prices, but I was impressed with the value of the place...my guess is regular menu you would pay prices more aligned with the surroundings. Would go again for sure, but it was a bit crowded and hectic for happy hour. The waiter, while clearly he had his hands full, was sort of abrupt and annoying, but it wasn't his fault they were out of mint...I endorse the place overall. read more

We celebrated my great grandmothers 100th birthday here tonight. The service was absolutely incredible from the wait staff to the owner. My great grandmother felt so special having her birthday dinner here, as the owner gave her the lobster on the house (and even cracked it for her to make it easier to eat). The rest of our dinners were incredible as well. Highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion or date night. Would definitely come back and try more on the menu. read more

Visited T Michaels looking for a quality steak based on the good reviews. After experiencing T Michaels one wonders if those who have given a good review have ever tasted a good steak. The service was good as was the view. I had the Beef Wellington. The fillet was not tender and had no taste. For $61 it was super market quality at best. Try Shula's, Capital Grill, Gordon Ramsey's or Old Homestead for a good steak...but not here. Grey Goose Martini was perfectly mixed but $17 is a bit pricey. Wife had stuffed shrimp. Very salty. Even if you don't normally do it, take advantage of the amazing summer specials at this fine restaurant - i.e. Rack of Ribs or All-you-care-to-eat fish fry $19 on Fridays(last night, ANY regular fish entree was only $29), Prime Rib $19 on Saturdays. Went there last week on a Friday. Place was packed! We had drinks at the bar while we waited for a table. We didn't wait very long, and got a table with a great view of the water. The waitstaff were very attentive. I had King crab legs, which were delicious, and big. Next I had the bone in filet, which was cooked perfectly. It came with steamed asparagus, which was sadly overcooked. I like mine crunchy! Topped the meal off with a nice bread pudding. This place has one of the best wine lists I've seen in Naples. The Oratoire CDP was great as was the Archaval Ferrar. Can't wait to come back and try some more of them. All in all it was a really good night, definitely coming back! read more

Worst reservation experience I've ever had. We had a 7:45 PM reservation tonight (a Saturday during the busy season, so we expect it to be packed of course) and got checked in with the hostesses at 7:30, they said we would get a text when the table is ready. For reference, this was just a table for two and I am visibly pregnant. The small entrance was filled, so we opted to stand outside on the curb by the valet and wait where many others were also waiting. At 7:45 another larger table with a 7:45 reservation was seated. From 7:45-8:05 we saw numerous people that showed up later than us be seated before us, but we still heard nothing. By 8:05 we went back inside to check on when our table would be ready. We overheard the couple that had just walked in ahead of us being told it would be 15 minutes until their table was ready. When we got to the hostess stand and said our reservation was for 20 minutes ago and asked when our table would ready the blonde hostess said, "Oh we let a few people in front of you, let me check." Went back to speak to the manager, and came back to tell us it would be 15 minutes (which would be nearly an hour after we checked in, and again, I'm pregnant and have been standing on the curb this whole time). We told her we couldn't afford to wait any longer and to cancel our table. Luckily we were able to get in elsewhere last minute, but not before wasting our time driving to this restaurant, waiting on their curb, and getting terrible service. If you're a busy person like we are just save yourself the headache and stay away, it's not worth the hassle. read more
