Terrible customer service. They are not knowledgeable or helpful with anything other than selling you a product. My new phone was shipped there and they refused to give it to me. After 12 years of being loyal customers, we've officially decided to cut ties with this store. On Saturday, I spent the day working with store manager Kyler to plan a surprise for my mom's birthday (the newest phone, scheduled to arrive Monday). He walked me through everything: color, storage size, pricing, and trade-in details. I made it clear I wanted to pay in full since it was a gift. We finalized the plan and I left feeling confident. Monday comes, and when I go in, I'm told the shipment hasn't been checked in. (But he confirmed the phone was there). Okay -- things happen. I leave, but later I start having a few more questions and call back.. Another team member, Anthony, answers and says, "Let me check on the shipment before we go into hypotheticals." I appreciated that. But once again, I'm told there is no iPhone 17 in that shipment. Not sure why that wasn't clarified when I was physically in the store earlier. I'm then told the manager Kyler will be in at 10 a.m. next day, and to call then. Tuesday at noon, I call. Now I'm told another store can fulfill the order that same day. Great, except when I call that store, they say they don't have it. This is starting to feel like a prank. Frustrated, I call the original store back. Suddenly I'm told, "Oh wait, we do have a handful of iPhone 17s!" I'm told to come by after work , but no promises it'll still be there(?) I go in Tuesday after work, and once again -- surprise -- I can't pay in full, the price doesn't match what I was quoted Sunday, and I'm ultimately advised to just go to the Apple Store instead. Just a massive headache and waste of time. Left me wondering why no one wanted to sell at this location. Thanks, T-Mobile! Heading to Verizon now. read more

I was a customer of T-Mobile for almost 14 years and had 8 phone lines plus an IPad and never missed or was late on a payment. I decided to switch because the bills were getting extraordinarily high. I had a outstanding bill. I spoke to T-Mobile and they agreed to allow me to make the payments for six months to pay off the bill cause I bought a bunch of phones I'd eight lines and now they're charging me an extra $18 per month to pay off the bill and I told them that I can't afford that I was paying over 400 and dollars a month And they're gonna continue to charge me the late fees so in my opinion, T-Mobile is not a very good company and I would definitely not recommend them unless they decide to change their policy especially for a customer who's been a customer for 14 years! read more

We had a poor experience with this store. We went to get a new phone for my son. The employee we worked with seemed shady. He told us my son needed to change his phone number, which was not ideal, but ok. Here's the problem...They said they would drop the old phone number in a few days and that our bill would stay exactly the same. When I pulled up the activity while still at the store, I found that our bill did indeed jump up significantly, but again the employee assured me that those charges would be taken off and our bill would go back to normal. It did not. On top of that, he added another line without permission, so that made 6 lines for 4 people! I had to call T-mobile customer service to get it straightened out. All I can say is they are crooks! I have home internet with them. I decided I would replace my ATT service because they were cheaper. I got my sims cards in the mail but the tower was down for a whole week and I had no home internet service so I had to hotspot everything to my ATT service. After that I decided not to switch over my phones. So I called to cancel my order. That in itself took about 6 hours in the phone to get it done. They say that since they sent me the sims cards (even though l never ever even put them in my phone, and the sales guy told me I had 30 days to try it out, and it was within the 39 days) that the $176.00 that they charged me was not eligible for a refund. entitled. But wait it gets worse. At the same time my home internet bill went from $81.00 per month on auto pay, went up to $350.00 which they robbed from my account. When I asked why they said it was for the phones that I never switched over! I finally argued my way into getting a refund of $190 which will take 3 days. The rest of the money is suppose to pay for this months bill and next month's bill. I doubt I will have tmobile for another month so that will be another battle. On top of all of this when I try to log in to my account online it says it doesn't recognize my email or phone number. So I can not see my statement or see what they are charging me for. The only way I know what I know is because I have literally spent hours on the phone with T-Mobile customer service reps that barely speak english. I'm currently on hold wait for them to figure out why I can't log in. When they try to manually put in my email address they get an error too. I've been on this call for an hour and 22 min now. I'm shocking surprised that the call hasn't disconnected yet. Normally I get disconnected at around the hour mark and have to call back and start all over. No notes from the previous rep. I can't yet speak for T-Mobile cell reception but the stores have all had good, friendly service and THIS store has Sean. He's truly a gem, as is his friends who work there. Sean really went all out to help me get functional on a new Android Revvl even though I bought it at Walmart. I'd been flailing miserable trying to switch from my iPhone & hadn't even ported over my # from Verizon yet which Sean did after hours of backing up to icloud my data & advising me on apps & functionality with Android as I've never had one & not even sure I'm gonna keep it. Eventually I wiped the iPhone to return to Apple where I'd recently bought it & needed a box for FedEx so Sean received some new phone there to provide me with all the packaging I needed & even taped it up & Googled a FedEx store to send me to! At no time did anyone working here act more interested in commission off customers coming & going. They all were more than capable of SERVICE here, a rare commodity in this day & age. If I lived in Phoenix I'd go out of my way to come to this particular store. Sean is a valuable asset & T-Mobile should make him manager. read more

1st post on Yelp: This store is trash! I was let in 2 minutes early by a worker, but at the counter I had some airhead tell me that I was 2 minutes too early. Knew right there this was going to be a bad experience. She wouldn't help me exchange a phone although I called the prior day to ask if I could exchange in store. I've never encountered such a ditsy idiot behind a counter. I know you don't need to be a rocket scientist to work there, but at least hire by competency. I've been a T-Mobile Customer for 12 yrs. I've been going to this office for 9 going on 10 yrs for my phone needs. I normally have no bad experiences. Today could have been better though. Last week I called T-Mobile about my phone (Galaxy Note 4) which died while I using it. Now this phone is actually a refurbished one they sent me back in May of this year to replace another Note 4. Four months in and this phone has been great until it stopped working. The phone support person I called had me test with different with batteries. We knew the batteries were good because they work in my wife's phone. T-Mobile support said they can over-night a replacement to the store at "1385 E Warner Rd". I just had to bring in this non-functioning phone and pay $5 and pick up the phone. Sounds simple but it turned out to be a drag. I get there today to do the exchange. Two guys in black shirts start running through a checklist for the exchange. They put in a battery and try to turn it on but they can't. They spend several minutes troubleshooting. Because I had to get back to work, I tell them this is why I am returning it and I was told I could just come in, do the exchange and pick up my phone. I ask them if we can speed it up a bit as I have to get back to work. They tell me that they can't accept my phone if it won't turn on and they wouldn't be able to give me my replacement phone. They cite the checklist they have to follow. I said then why would T-Mobile phone support send a phone here for me to pick up if that is the reason why I called in because the phone is dead and won't power on? Are you saying you guys in the store are not on the same page as the support people? They said something about well those are just the people on the phone and they don't have to the same things we do in the office. The people on the phone take calls and process everything while people like them in the office have to do all the physical work. (basically he agreed with me without saying so.) Then another guy came in who wore a pink T-Mobile shirt. The black shirts asked him if I could exchange my a phone that won't power on for the one that was shipped to the store. He told them I could exchange it and to just put in the system that it won't power on. He also mentioned if he scrolls to the bottom and read it says something about if a phone being returned doesn't power on it doesn't mean they can't do the exchange. So the guy in the black shirt goes back to the computer and finally processes my exchange. I pay my $5 and I get my replacement phone. What I don't get is any apology for their misunderstanding and none for wasting my time. Basic customer service skills is what is lacking here and unfortunately seems to be more and more common. If you make a mistake or inconvenience a customer, apologize! Why can't these kids learn how to something so simple? read more

Went to upgrade my HTC M8 to a Samsung S7. They told me I could save money by doing their unlimited plan for $70 a month. I was on board and they said the plan was changed on my account. Fast forward over a month later I still noticed my plan hadn't changed on my account and I was still getting charged more than 70 a month. I ended up calling customer support so they could change it. Why offer this plan if you aren't even going to actually update my account? That is what you are there for. I just hope they aren't duping other unsuspecting customer into thinking updates have been made to there account when they really haven't. read more

My wife's phone was old, slow and cracked (like me), but the model we decided on was sold out of all the stores closer to us. I called Warner and Val Vista, and they had one, and offered to hold it for me. The store was spotless, had hand sanitizer available, transferred all of the junk from wife's old phone, and were extremely pleasant to deal with. It took a while to transfer, because wife never deletes her texts. Every few minutes they would apologize for the delay (which in reality was completely our fault). Everything worked flawlessly! In the future I will drive past the closer 4 T-Mobile stores to go to this one. Some things are worth a little extra effort! read more

Went into T-Mobile on Val vista and warner to get a new phone because of the promo they are having and lost $68 in the process my 60 year old father got disrespected. My father has been a loyal customer for 12 years and has never been treated so terribly until today. If I could give Alex 0 stars I would he does not deserve to be a manager. I had a teeny tiny crack in my phone and after he made my father pay he then examined my phone and said he couldn't take it for the trade and then my father politely asked for him to get his money back and he automatically got defensive and attacked my father verbally. He was with his daughter and his grandchild who is 4 and started crying because she was terrified. He called corporate and they asked for his name and employee ID but my father being the kind man he is refused to do so . He got to speak with someone that was able to help him and more gave him his employee info and personal contact to make sure that he gets the phone and an extra discount for the disrespect he faced. read more

During two trips in there, each lasting 45 minutes, the information we were given changed every 10 minutes, the rates we are supplied are different from those online, and the store manager is completely out of her depth. The store manager A****y is not an easy person to deal with...she is out of her depth and deflects her lack of skills back on the customers. She called the main helpline for support and then say that they were not helpful! The best was threatening to call the police on a customer unless they left! Her behavior is not management behavior! T-mobile tries so hard to be 'with it' but by introducing a new fad each month (Data Stash, 4 different international rates etc) the staff appear to be SO confused. They should stop having 20-something's as managers in their stores and should train their employees how to read their information Avoid A****y's store unless you want to see how bad things can be! read more

Chloe was rude and kept getting confused at what I was trying to say. I kept telling her I was upgrading and adding lines and she could not keep it straight. Then when she called customer service she was bragging to the person on the other line that last night was her birthday and that she was late for work today because she was out all night and hungover. I asked questions about why I was paying a deposit on a phone when I had been a customer for a long time and had never paid a deposit. She told me, "it's always been this way. I've been her 8 months." I told her I have been with T-Mobile for 10+ years. She could keep track of how many phones I was buying and then told me to "Hurry up tell me what phones so she could go in back and get them. I have never had such rude customer service in my life. I would like to start if by saying the T-Mobile rep chandler approached very friendly , Identified exactly what my cousin and I were looking to do or why we walked into the store to begin with. We came to an agreement after chandler explained in detail what our payments would be and our initial down payment to continue moving forward. When assistance was needed the other T-Mobile rep David came to the rescue and assisted in making sure everything was being answering and expectations were being met. Over all I am very pleased with the service. From a newer rep to a more experience rep, the respect and joint workmanship of being a team and taking care Of us as new customers to T-Mobile was awesome. We ended up getting two iPhone 11Pro Max's' when we originally only went to look at prices and check out the iPhone 11 promotion. David and chandler made it very easy to understand and make a decision on what would benefit my cousin and I with what we were able to afford .
