Wow what a bad service experience! My brother and I walked in on Black Friday thinking it might be super busy. It was pretty empty so it seemed we would be helped quickly. There were only 2 customers in the store. 2 of the four employees were assisting the 2 people that were together. As we walked in, one of the employees who was assisting the 2 people said he'd be right with us. "Hmm. Odd, why can't 2 of the other employees help us," I thought to myself. We waited a minute and one of the other 2 employees begrudgingly said, "I can help you.' As if we were inconveniencing him. He was not friendly just a plain robot. Not cheerful or pleasant. How about being more customer-service oriented. "Hi how are you today?" He proceeded to help my brother. My brother let him know he was looking for a newer phone. He looked at his phone and said in a rude voice, "Yeah, this is really old!" Ok maybe a 5 year old Phone is old for most tech gadgets but the way he said it, was very condescending. Ouch! He then pointed my brother to the newer version of his current phone and told him his new bill would be $100/month. Hmm my brother doesn't use it for social media, mostly for necessity of having a phone for an emergency. I have Verizon, and they've always asked me more detailed questions, to get me on the right plan. When I voiced that I only pay $48 dollars with Verizon and my brother asked about a loyalty discount, the employee immediately said, "You can go to Verizon!" Trying to pull the old sales trick of 'taking away the carrot' so to speak. My brother responded with a resounding, "ok!" And so we did and he got a way better deal at $67 per month. Verizon was so much more helpful and friendly. The name of the employee was Austin. Also we didn't appreciate the other employee following us around with Austin. It was weird. If the employee was being trained, then say something. That was just awkward. Do better. read more

Came in to get onto a phone plan with my husband and got two new phones. The employee who helped us was Makala and she rocked! We came in one day, and Makala explained to us all the ongoing promotions and what it would be like to set up a new line. We wanted to think about it some more so we went home. I was with att and we were trying to decide if it made more sense to both switch to my plan or my husbands. We came back the next day and Makala was there again and helped us finalize switching over our plan. Throughout the process she was kind and patient and very knowledgeable. A big part of our choice of staying with t mobile was the great customer service that we received. read more

I went there to drop off equipments that i was told to drop off after 2 weeks of trial but now asking me to call tmobile to cancel the service because they couldn't do it. I was also told to drop the phone that i traded in once i got the new one and now telling me i have to ship it. If this was communicated in the very beginning, i shouldve done it myself and not went all the way to store to do everything. Such a waste of time. Not to mention he refuse to service me. I went to get a new phone. I have been with this company for over 18 years. The "manager" was less than helpful. Very condescending, rude and surprisingly employed with such an attitude. It seemed like I was being punked everyone I asked a question. My entire 7 min of being in the store was nothing less than miserable. 08/08/17 This T-Moble business is located inside the Sparks Galleria Shopping center. It is in a small strip mall on the left hand side. It is located next to the See's candy store and near Qdoba. Ahmit hit customer service out of the ballpark. He kindly greeted us upon entering the building. I was looking to upgrade my phone. Ahmit was knowledgeable, informative, polite and friendly. He showed us the up grades and informed us of their new features. He gave us all our options so that we were informed of all of our choices and how best to make it fit in our plan. We decided on the new android. I can't RAVE about him enough. I sure how he gets KUDOS from T- Mobile and his manager. While there we got to meet Andres, June (the manager) and Nicole. All of who were professional, polite and friendly. Andres helped Ahmit by going to the back and getting the extras that we were purchasing. We purchased a wireless charger, a Otterbox protective case, a screen protector, and an extra cable as the new one is not compatible with the old phones. Thanks Andres for helping and chatting. Story time!!! So today I went fishing at the Sparks Marina & while I was sitting in my chair on the dock my pole started getting good bites. So I jumped out of my chair & there goes my phone that was in my lap plopping into the water. GONE. Lost my license & debit card with it so I packed up n went straight to T Mobile. Katie was HANDS DOWN the BEST and went wayyyyy more than above n beyond to help me n my situation. 1) I had forgotten my account pin so I couldn't get into my account in order to get a new phone. 2) I had no drivers license for them to verify who I was. 3) Katie told me three or four times that there was nothing she could do but CONTINUED to try n try n try. 4) I only had 62$ in cash on me, with my debit card lost & locked anyways. Katie did the impossible & was able to figure out a way & got me taken care of. I don't do reviews but Katie, you deserve way more than the 5 stars I could give. Got my new iPhone 14 Pro Max today & was super excited to use my new phone. Everything was working out with transferring my apps, music etc. except it wouldn't let me get my old phone number. I headed down to my local T-Mobile store on Disc Dr to get some help. I explained the issue to Benjamin & he was super helpful. He fixed my issue within minutes & also cleared my old phone for it to be used by another person. I wish customer service at all businesses were as good as Benjamin was at T-Mobile. Horrible customer service! T-mobile made a mistake when setting up my new account and told me to take my phone to any store to return it to them. This was the closest store to my house. The assistant manager tried to charge me a restocking fee to send it back even though it was their mistake! I asked for the manager and he said that the manager would charge me as well! I immediately went to AT&T and switched to them. They were so courteous and kind. I called T-mobile when I got home and got someone higher up to help me with my return. They confirmed that the store should have accepted my return at no cost. read more

I have been a longtime customer over 15+ years with T-mobile and as I walked in your store to get my tempered glass screen protector replaced "for free" ,which isn't really free because I originally when purchased on 7/14/2020 was told that if I spent $40 on this you get free replacements for life of your phone, which when JAYME sold these to us she NEVER stated it was only if you had purchased insurance! I know to order these normally on line thru other websites because everyone knows your markups on accessories is beyond ridiculous, but she stressed to me again the value and I made a big deal about how that was actually a good deal , she knew while she rang us up we didn't have insurance but kept talking with me about the value of this. I came in on Thursday this week 10/8/2020 was told by Henry to my surprise that we don't get for free only if we purchased insurance prior, when I said we weren't told that he sent me to a website or said to go see JAYME who was at store in Meadowwood Mall today and she would take care of it, so we drove from Sparks over to the mall to speak with Jayme whom Henry said would take care of this mess for us. Well when we arrived in the store JAYME was helping a family and asked us to wait, when someone else arrived back from a break he started to help us while JAYME stood there and became involved when I again said Henry told us to come see you to get this replaced , I expected being told to drive over across town she would apologize for the confusion she caused ( I have over 25 years in management of retail stores and so I start out giving everyone the benefit of the doubt knowing that my business is important because of longtime customers and you don't get anywhere getting upset and being unkind) and she would correct the issue, at best I would of been happy with "we apologize for the confusion and mistake we made , we will give you a replacement for free today but then explain what happened and they can't after today." But no , JAYME was combative and rude wouldn't apologize or offer to make things right in some way, I teared up because I was so upset with how she was treating me and then I asked to speak to her manager she said she was the manager and so I asked for her full name and she refused to give it and wouldn't give me any other contact information. I left in tears because of her rudeness and so disappointed in your company that I thought valued their longtime customers, but now I know we are not valued and I will start looking for another carrier,, tell everyone not to come into your store, and I hope JAYME S. gets reprimanded and goes through proper customer service training because she should never be allowed to treat customers the way she did . They (Yelp) should really offer a negative rating option. How many stars are in the universe? I'm not sure there's enough... When my husband was looking to upgrade his phone we went in and unfortunately we're "assisted" by "Sunny". With the new phone came a new plan, one we we're assured wouldn't raise my husband's monthly bill. My husband confirmed this verbally with "Sunny" THREE times. When his next bill came, roughly $25-30 OVER what it had previously been, we paid it, assuming it was for the activation of the new phone... After another month passed of receiving an inflated bill, we called and asked that our plan be reverted. We were told it was. Next month, another huge bill. When we returned to the store to get some answers we were told by "RAJA" that no one there had helped us, and due to his insistence nearly believed it, until we noticed and mentioned "Sunny's" business card sitting on his desk... When we started questioning things, we were told our bill was never the price we had originally paid, despite the fact we've been paying it for YEARS and have bank statements to prove it! We were accused of taking "our time" on addressing the issue (even though we had sought resolution the second month of receiving a huge bill) and were told that it was "OUR fault for buying a new phone and signing the contract!" VERBATIM!!! (Insert expletives and cursing of their bloodlines here.) We are at fault. We're at fault for trusting that a customer service representative actually cares about the people he provides the service for... "Sunny" had NO problem walking us through and "explaining" (as only a liar can) what we were signing (a direct deposit into his checking account apparently) and "Raja" had no problem deflecting an obvious wrongdoing. Better yet, when we contacted another branch, one that apparently still values customer service and were helped, SUNNY called and nearly had the gentleman FIRED for helping us! Because of commissions I'm sure... (I wish I were kidding.) After paying what we were told was our "final bill" (less than a month ago) and being grateful to have this fiasco behind us, have in the last 2 weeks, been getting called by t-mobiles COLLECTION agency without EVER having been notified that we even had a remaining BALANCE!!! When we called to ask if it's their normal procedure to send someone to collections without EVER notifying them that an additional balance exists, (even though they've been able to send us inflated bills the last 6 months and clearly have our phone number considering they WERE our CELL PHONE PROVIDER!!!) We were told "I'm not here to speculate." Of course not... because this is all speculation, and not what has actually occurred. (Insert sarcasm here.) So consumer beware. I would avoid this COMPANY/BRANCH altogether or at the very least the Sunny AND Raja. I have personally watched both BLATANTLY lie to a customer's face. *This is an VERY abbreviated version of what has been an unbelievable lack of customer service and more and more obviously THEFT!!! I called to pick up an AC adapter as my other one had run off. They answered right away (more than I can say for the Mae Anne location). A rep Justin took care of me quickly ensuring that they had the item I wanted (he said to make sure I didn't drive all the way over there for nothing--good thinking). He was friendly and efficient. I drove over there about an hour later. I talked to a guy that made sure Justin came to help me so that Justin could get his commission on the sale (teamwork--I like that too). Justin remembered why I called and quickly went over to where the items were located. He knew, but made sure to look, whether car or AC adapter chargers were cheaper (and knew they were the same). He also gave me a bit of a price break and rang me up quickly, making sure to get me a receipt. All in all, very good experience. If that experience at all typifies what it's like that store, I might go there instead of the closer Plumb Lane store which had a horrific wait and forgot to put in my product return so I had to make a call to avoid a 60 dollar charge when a bill came. The store is very easy to find on Disc just off of Pyramid Highway, both with a shopping center sign on the south side of Disc and with a large sign on the store front. read more

Excellent customer service!!! (I'm very picky about customer service as well as most businesses don't seem to care anymore). Steven was the main salesman that helped us. But so did Dani and Layla. All very very nice. We switched from Verizon to T-Mobile on Friday night and they made it go smoothly. Overheard that it was Stevens first week and we would not have known if we didn't over hear that (so good job!!). All three of them were very knowledgeable as well. Thanks guys!! read more

We have the best experience at this store when it comes to changing our 4 lines from AT&T to T Mobile. Dani has helped us step by step and extremely knowledgeable. Our situation was a little complicated because our children are in CA and we are in Sparks. Dani even offers us her personal phone number so that when our kids get the SIM cards, they can call her so that she can help them porting the existing numbers over to TMobile. She is very patient and makes the transaction seamless. Changing from one carrier to another is not fun but with Dani's help, any complication can be solved. We are very happy to find a store nearby with excellent service from the people there (Nicole is great too!) Be sure to ask for Dani when you are in the store. She is THE BEST! read more

I had a lot of problems with my phone, and I am not very tech-savvy. I decided to go in to this store and see if they could help. Apparently they are under new management, though I didn't know the old manager. All of the staff were very friendly, the store was neat and clean, and the gentleman I spoke to spent quite a lot of time answering all my questions. His name was Larry, and we joked throughout the interaction that his technical knowledge was almost as impressive as his beard! He really did have a great sense of humor and was very patient with all my questions. I will DEFINITELY be coming here again! read more

I come in to this T-Mobile once/twice a year when visiting my parents during the holidays (I reside in the Bay Area). I try to get our upgrades completed, any account information updated and their service squared away. On many of these visits June has been the employee who has helped us and time and time again gone above and beyond to support our experience (especially when another associate at the store switched my mom and my SIM cards causing our phones not to work at all. Even though this required us to travel back to the store, June immediately dropped what she was doing to make sure everything was in order before I left for the airport to catch my flight). Her positive attitude and helpful nature is not lost on us and we appreciate the experience she provides each time we are in the store. I am grateful that she is able to quickly manage/rectify any issues, she is the example of great customer service for the store. read more

I have been a loyal customer to this T-mobile location for the last 3 years. Not only are they more convenient location but the store was always quiet and the employees were always helpful and nice and not too pushy like car salesman. However, after my recent experience with this Disc Drive T-Mobile location, my 5 star rating has changed to a -0 even though that is not an option. That is why I'm giving them a 1 star rating. Since T-Mobile has changed and went to no contracts and adding the jump plan, my whole family has upgraded their plans. All 5 of us! My husband and I started out first and purchased two S4's followed by my kids all adding I phones. After I looked at my bill I noticed a large $150 fee which later to find out it was a migration fee(early upgrade fee) My daughter was not told about it by Jet the salesman or she would not have gone through with the purchase as she was already out of pocket taxes and down payment. After calling T-Mobile they said that if that fee was not on the paperwork that the store would credit my account and not to worry. When I went in the store to talk to Jet, he said in no way would he be willing to credit that. He says he told her about the $150 fee but I know he did not. Even the manager(tall bald guy) was not willing to help. He just peeked his head out of the back but let me leave without resolve. I then called T-Mobile and explained to them what had happened and they were very sympathetic and credited my account immediately and proceeded with filing a complaint against Jet at the T-Mobile Disc Drive in Sparks NV. Needless to say, I will never give them my business again! I will drive to another location across town. I'm giving the T-Mobile operator that helped me 5 stars. This does not even deserve a star I'm afraid. I bought a brand new I phone 19 days ago and it stopped working already. I obviously couldn't get through to customer service so I went in and was told it would be over nighted to me. Went back the next morning and was told they don't ship on weekends. Called to complain AGAIN to customer service and of course it did no good. They told me they would note the account and that a store manager could override it and just exchange it in store, plus they were rude. I called the store again to see if they could and they said they were busy with a customer and would call me back in 5 minutes. That didn't happen so I called again later and was told the exact same thing and didn't get a call back then either. I ended up going in yet again and was told that they couldn't override it because all the managers in this town are off Sundays and Wednesdays so I had to come back. I went in again and they said they still couldn't replace it, that they don't do that and I would need to wait for the UPS truck. Here I am STILL waiting for the UPS man. I am to the point where I am ready for a refund and a new phone company. I completely understand that sometimes phones are on back order but I have been lied to and treated badly repeatedly with no resolution in sight. All I wanted was the same phone, one that works. Went in to get a Sim Card which I was told would only be $10. Got there and I was told was $20, according to both sales people in the store. The salesperson informed me that the new phone I had purchased was not unlocked for the tmobile network but tried to pressure me into doing a new contract with him so that I would not be without a phone. Instead I figured I would leave and call Tmobile to trouble shoot the problem. He insisted that he could find me a better deal and took forever while retrieving my receipt until I finally said no a final time. The receipt was for something other than a sim card and when asked he said there was no option for Sim card only sales in the system.......not joking..... Turns out the phone was unlocked and after I got down the street a little ways it registered on the tmobile network, GO FIGURE. A half hour of hearing it doesn't work but 3mins or less after I leave and it connects..... read more
