All while assisting the walk ins at the counter. They always have patience, know their stuff, and efficient. So they are a National UPS Customer because they sent a pre-authorized label through their network to me. I show the clerk the label and say, "Can I email this to you to print and attach. Sure, that will be $2.00 for the label. I ask, why? It's policy, she says. But it is a label as part of a national shipping contract with UPS. Yes I know but you see we're just a franchise so it's for the service. Uh huh. Well I guess you have to monetize the piece of paper here and of course the email and wifi costs money to run and of course there is your time to fund this 5 minute segment. Got it. Then, wait for it, she says, "It's a convenience fee." Let me just say this. Nothing is convenient about this moment. Nothing. You have a national shipping contract with this vendor to handle their shipments. That's on your side of the line, not mine. I honestly don't care about the 2 bucks. It's just the abject absurdity of the moment. And dealing with someone who has just been given the party line on what to do without any logic whatsoever on how to actually take care of a customer. I won't be back because this is just beyond stupid, and I don't do stupid any longer.

It's like $20 or so dollars and you don't have to worry about however many times you have to replace the batteries in however many key fobs you have. Would highly recommend the lifetime key fob battery replacement to everyone! The customer service is almost always pleasant and I am always in/out within minutes. Just a heads-up/tip, if you are wanting your car battery replaced, call ahead as there are certain make and models that they do not change the batteries of, they might sell them but not replace them as I found that out the hard way.

I had received a gift card from my 14 year old younger brother for $60, and when I went to go use it at this store, the person working at the cashier, (her name is Hailey) was rude from the start. She didn't smile and when I gave her my gift card she said there was only 12 cents on it. I told her that was not possible as the gift card had been with us since it was purchased a week earlier and we had made absolutely no purchases on it. She made calls and through the whole process when I would say thank you for your help, she would ignore me and was very rude. Finally she gave over the gift card and said that it was our problem to deal with and that she couldn't help us. We told her that it shouldn't be our problem because we had the card with the PIN number still unscratched and the proof of purchase with receipt. Hailey, the cashier, told us that she can't handle us anymore to her coworker and that she didn't like the way we were talking to her, rolled her eyes, threw our gift card to her coworker, Ellen, and walked out. We were relieved that we received a new worker and that she might be better, but without any respect to us as the customer, she said, "I will not serve you if you will act that way towards my coworker". We were absolutely stunned at this terrible customer service, as this is the worst experience we have ever encountered. We walked out of the store, cheated of our $60, without no help, or without any proper customer service. I am absolutely disgusted and disappointed with AE and will no longer be shopping here. Ellen and Hailey from this AE store in the Eden Praire Center were absolutely terrible, and should be punished for their horrible customer service and how they treated us.
