This T-Mobile operates very unprofessional and I will not visit this location again. Just left and they were closed, when they don't officially close until 8pm. Some makeshift sign on the door that said they will be closing at 7pm. Thankfully the Managers at T-Mobile are really great, and genuinely helpful. Unfortunately t-Mobile is operating on an archaic system making it difficult for the employees to do their job well. They're under supported they have dicey Internet that can add major time!! talking hours here .... The service/buying waiting time is crazy long because there's not enough employees to do what's needed for the volume and long personalised service time needed. I've seen the manager in a situations where someone was loudly screaming at them for the hour plus wait time. The manager held his composure and was utterly professional, and really nice to him.. No employee should be put in this position because of company mismanagement and low staffing. if you insist on going here, I highly recommend getting there before they open and waiting by the door. Bought a new phone and the technician helped transfer the data to the new phone. Left the old phone at the store and they apparently never checked it into their system. Now my promotional credits are being reversed and I have had to call support a number of times - still dealing with this nightmare. Online support is suggesting that I have to go to the store to escalate the issue with them. Lost 2 hours on support so far and now I have to go to the store to continue in person. read more

So on 2-8-22 I stopped in at t-mobile TPR franchise retail store #9898 located at 17W704 22nd St in Oakbrook Terrace IL to get a Samsung A32 replaced under warranty. As this is what t-mobile t-force said had to be done as I guess they no longer ship warranty phones to customer homes. They make you go to a retail store probably so they can make more money.  Well not only was I charged a $20 warranty service fee that t-force said I would receive credit back for it which I still have not. But I was also charged for protection 360 at $9 a month which I never did ask for nor was I asked if I wanted it. It was just placed onto my account fraudulently and according to the FTC, FCC this is know as cramming. I also just read on reddit of someone else having unauthorized things on their account by t-mobile.  Here is the reddit link & FTC/FCC links on cramming. I plan to file complaints with t-mobile executive care team, t-mobile integrity team & the FCC, FTC, BBB & IL State Attorney General office because this type of stuff has to stop. People shouldn't have this stuff added onto their accounts just because a sales person need to make their commission and or are pressured by upper management to do what ever is necessary. Normally I really like the location but I waited almost an hour while the two store personnel over helped other customers. By over helped I mean that they spent time talking about things that really didn't matter to the sale and to the detriment of the other customers who are waiting in line. Really, they should've came back to those customers. Then when I finally get Michael, he kind of treats me like a jerk. Making me produce my ID multiple times and otherwise treating me as if I was trying to pull some kind of a scam when all I wanted to do was add another phone to my account. I went to this T-Mobile store after I got off work on a Sunday, 21 August, 2022. I needed to get my new phone activated and data transferred from my old phone, as I was scheduled to make a 500+mile road trip the next day and really needed the security of a working phone. The evening before, I had been to 2 T-Mobile stores near my home, one fo which closed 30 minutes early (and after I paid for 30 minutes on the parking meter) and another that claimed they couldn't help me because I was not listed as an authorized user on the account (which I have been for over 10 years). Even though it was a Sunday afternoon and near closing time, Manny, Jay, Christina, and Ashley all worked together to get me up and running and I even ended up buying a new charger for my car. They were courteous, patient, and went above and beyond what they had to do to help and I am extremely appreciative. read more

RUN RUN RUN to another T-Mobile store. This is not the one for you or anyone else. Their salesperson ADRIAN D. is HORRIBLE. I went into the store on January 8, 2019 and bought the new XS model iPhone, a Google Mini and a Fast Charge Qi. First, he never gave me a receipt for my cash purchases (I thought the receipts were in the bag) silly me. Second, he never ordered the Google Mini - I had to call the next day and send an email before he actually ordered the (PAID FOR) item (thought that was what he was there for) again, silly me. Third, he placed insurance on the account WITHOUT advising me of this option and CHARGED the account WITHOUT ASKING!!! What a SCAM!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE - shop at other T-Mobile stores. I see others are reviewing ADRIAN from 2016, which means he is NOT A NEW employee (which I assumed, you know like he assumed I was financing a purchase of this amount) since he had made so many mistakes with just one customer. WOW, 3-years on the job and you still don't know what you are doing. By the way, thanks for pulling back that survey you sent me to evaluate your service. Today on September 26th @ 6:30pm, I visited this place to pick a Tuesday Freebie. There were 3 customers and 2 assoctaves were there. I notified the aasociate(Sarah) for the check in purpose. The associatemail told me to wait couple of minutes, since she was helping a customer. She let me wait for 20 minutes as she was helping the customers in a lazy way. I have felt that she was purposely delaying it. It took her 10 minutes to install screen protector with too much gossips. I appreciate TMobile freebies but not when they waste half an hour of people. Theven purpose of freebie is to make customers happy instead of upsetting them. read more

Ok ... the worst .. I went to the store on a rainy day and there was 4 employees and 2customers in which I was included.. Now I never go in unless I am buying something which is not often so I was soooo confused on what happened. I needed to get an replacement phone for my husband and they told me to go through the insurance company.. so we did. The company had the wrong address because the T-Mobile employee some time ago inputted the suite number incorrectly. Now I'm standing there with the employee with the info in front of him and the insurance lady on the phone and the both of them was unable to help me. It took me to ask the T-Mobile worker what address did he have to solve my own problem. Now this is while all the people there which I only can think the manager ( never introduce himself) was there and soo uncaring.. I will be calling corporate . I have been tmobile customer for my whole life and have always recommended each and everyone of my friend and family members to go always take tmobile as their cell phone's network. But these people working at oakbrook branch, they have the worst customer service. They don't even greet their customers or try to approch them and ask them. It was my first time that my cell phone got some problem with its usb port and my phone's condition is 10/10 just like new. I claimed my warranty and let then inspect my phone. They told me that my phone is under warranty and i will get my phone replaced with some refurbished same phone within 2 days. I told them that i need a wireless charger and i was shocked to hear that one of the sales associates of tmobile working over there told me that he cannot let me finance a wireless charging mount 'if i have intensions to return this charger after 2 days'. I was like what the hell ! , who gave that employee a right to become the boss of tmobile and set his own rules. Tmobile has the policy if we buy some product from them we have 14 days return policy. I still remember that guys face, i did not remember his name but i can recoganize him. I will deifinitely call Business bureau and will file this complain and will talk ahead to everyone in this business now. Is that guy an astrologer working over there that he knew i will return after 2 days. Every customer has the right to check the product and if its not his type he can return and buy something else.
