To all you pretentious people. I have been to every carrier store in the Valley. There will be times you go to the store and they will be crazy busy. There will be times when it will be slow. That goes for every major carrier. I have always received great service at the Palm Springs T-Mobile store. I have walked in before and got served right away. I have gone in when it's quite busy and had to wait up to twenty to thirty minutes. That part of life when living around other people. Get over it!!! Don't be a primadonna. Yes the coverage may not be as good as Verizon. NO ONE IN THE INDUSTRY IS CLOSE. BUT YOU PAY FOR IT!!! T-Mobile is innovative and is changing the industry. I just used 28gig of data in one month. Do you know what my bill would be with Verizon? That is why I switched to this company. I am almost saving 30% over my Verizon bill, more if you include I won't pay an overage for data By the end of this 2015 T-Mobile's map will almost match Verizon's. They are spending 15 billion in coverage upgrades this year. . They have the second best coverage in this country and better if you include Wifi calling. Do your research before you pick your carrier and you will pick what carrier you want based on expense and services. I have found a very few dead spots in this valley. I have had data coverage in this valley where Verizon has had none and vise versa. I will put up with a very few dead zones to save more than thirty percent. I have driven from here to LA streaming my Slacker Radio all the way and never missed a beat. Not to mention streaming music doesn't count against your data on T-Mobile. Do your research as I have and make your informed decision on a carrier before you put down a whole company based on one or two bad visits to a store or one bad person on a single customer service call. PS don't go during lunch hour it's a mad house.... No I do not work for this company I am just a smart shopper who got tired of Verizon's tactics and new policies that kept my bill going up and up and up with less and less services. read more

You ever receive such poor customer service that you think you're on a hidden camera show? Well, that was my experience today at this store. I walk in, there's two customers there, one was on his way out. I stand in the line while theres two reps at the counter. One greets me right away and says he'll be right with me. Meanwhile, he continues to tape a box together that he's getting ready to ship out. Really? The box cant wait? Then he proceeds to answer a phone call, all the while staring at me while he's assisting a customer on the phone. After he hangs up, I ask him should I go over to the other counter for a technical issue (my battery was dead). He says no, anyone can help me, he'll be right with me. He then continues with his taping of the box and walks with the box into the back. Then the other guy at the counter says, Oh, the guy at the other counter can help you. I then go to that dude, he says, let me go check and see if I've got a battery. He comes back with one that doesn"t fit and the whole time he's working on my phone hes texting on his personal phone, less than two feet away from me. Then he says, We don't have a battery that fits your phone, go to Radio Shack or buy it online. Really? I got the phone from TMobile and they don't have a battery for it?? Weird, just weird.... read more

Seemed to be good service in the store...just wait till you have to get on the phone with the company, endless waiting. Then you have to tell your story anew to each different customer service person, a real headache. You would think that such a big company would stop communicating the old fashioned way and do everything via email or chat. read more

Sent my friend to visit TMobile to investigate and sign up for a new plan. He arrived at noon and was signed in by a rep. After 15 minutes, the rep said "you're next". But nothing happened :( After waiting another 15 minutes, he left, disgusted at the total lack of customer service. Zero stars for this store. I switched from AT&T to T mobile about six weeks ago. When I switched, I asked the employee about how well Voicemail would work with my iPhone. It has been a dismal failure. With AT&T, there is always a red dot on the phone icon, indicating a missed call or a voicemail. This does not work with T-Mobile. I have spent about 15 hours on the telephone, and I have also visited the store and discussed it with employee, who gave me the store phone to talk to their technical department. After any encounter, I always get a message that my problem has been fixed, but it is still not fixed. I have given up. When a voicemail is left, there is a transcribed. message, more less accurate in my text messages. This is the only way I know I have a voicemail. As per my conversation with the employee, prior to setting up service this was all discussed. And I discussed my hesitation to change because I would lose an old AT&T plan that I cannot get back. Now I am stuck. T-Mobile cannot get it to work properly. read more

Of the 3 times I've been there: They get the job done, so that earns them a 3. But other than that, they see to have no interest in their customers; any time I talk to any of them about ANYTHING, they're just looking down at their computer or phone, not paying attention, and don't respond. They lack serious customer service. This is INCLUDING the manager, although he seemed to make effort (which is more than I can say about his employees), but the effort seemed very fake and you could tell he did not want to be talking with us. What a horrible experience. When our phone goes down, our contact with the world is gone. We need help. You won't get it at this location. One young man couldn't get off his social media and when I did get his attention, he was bothered about the interruption and said, "Stop dropping your phone." The young lady talked over me and had no interest in what I was saying. She KNEW IT ALL and wasn't going to let me speak. Because of work, I end up dropping my phone way too much. I was concerned about keeping my contacts from the old phone. She told me it couldn't be done. I know this is not true. The last time I bought a phone from this very location a young man did it. I'm a T-Mobile customer have been for 8years. I just moved here to PS. I am extremely impressed with this store. Employees are always smiling and seem happy to help. One particular employee Cabe Costa went above and beyond with service excellence. I have been an android user for 15 yrs and with Samsung falling short last year I had to switch to iPhone. I was beyond nervous, Cabe was extremely helpful in answering all my questions even reassured me iPhone was ok. I needed to remove all my photos over 13gb of pictures and videos. Cabe patiently tried to help move my photos to an SD card but there were some glitches in their software. I'm bringing in my laptop tomorrow and Cabe is going to help me get my photos. He didn't have to be so helpful, but, he did. Great employee needs employee of the month. read more

Save your money, tmobile service in the desert is horrible & this store is the worst. They never get things right. Husband's phone broke, they sent him the wrong one. We have a white s5 & black s5 on account we asked for his black one to be replaced they sent white, when called on it they said no they sent the right one and would not fix the problem. Now my white phone is broken and they won't help me because I magically disappeared from the account and they can't do anything for me even though I'm paying the damn bill every month and insurance for this pgone! Guess I'll have to switch back to Verizon or another company with better cell and customer service. Over the BS and drama at tmobile after 4 years of crappy service. Buh bye!!! read more

I switched over to T-Mobile because they had good prices and a discount for first responders, I even asked them specifically are nurses eligible, I was told by someone on the phone that I was eligible. I traded in my phone, got everything set up, they were having trouble with the system and couldn't verify my workplace, I spent almost 2 hours at the T-Mobile store, they knew I was a nurse and said this "was a known issue", they said it will be fine and said they would call if they need anything more. Two months later was told that I am NOT eligible for the first responders discount. I think its a disgrace that a company as large as T-Mobile would discount the work that nurses and doctor's do by not offering them a discount. I feel like I was taken advantage of by switching over to T-Mobile just to be told later that I'm going to have a higher bill because what they told me in the beginning was a lie. I would not recommend T-Mobile, and as soon as I can pay my phone off, I'm out of there. read more
