Dropped in this location 8/29/19 around 8pm to open three new lines after having left T-Mobile for 90 days in order to take advantage of deals not previously available to us as long time T-Mobile customers since T-Mobile (the supposed "uncarrier") treats new customers better then loyal customers (but that's another story). I want to keep this positive. My gf and I had the pleasure of doing business with Bill at the Idaho store. Bill was far and away the most competent T-Mobile employee I've encountered in my MANY interactions with T-Mobile store employees. Not that most have been bad, lots of 3 and 4 star interactions with T-Mobile employees in the past, maybe even some low-grade 5ers in there too. But Bill was knowledgeable and thoughtful, making sure I understood the plan and coverage. He made sure I was aware of all the promotions going on without being pushy, desperate, or judgmental. He engaged in friendly chit chat without losing sight of completing the transaction. He was professional and respectful of our time, privacy, and our knowledge. Bill is rockstar at T-Mobile and if/when I need help or additional products I will seek him out again. If you're like me and want to talk to someone who might just actually be professional and knowledgeable without being a pushy tool, seek out Bill to help you. It was Feb 16 Sunday when i recieved a txt message telling that i need to pay $363 for international call which i never use. For a long years using this carrier, i never use my fon calling outside US. Now they want me to pay this big amount? Am not that rich and i don't have enough money to pay for this. Ok, like most electronic stores, at this T-Mobile there's a wait. Even that time we had the torrential downpours the wait was at least 20 minutes. However, after having been to the Brea and Bellflower stores, this is my go-to place regardless of the wait. And this particular time, even with 2 people in front of me, it was only 5 minutes. The staff here are really cool and, while not a particularly big store, they have most every phone and accessory in stock. In fact, when I upgraded my 6S Plus to a 7 plus at the Bellflower store and 2 days later it stopped working, I brought it here for an exchange. Not only did they gladly exchange it for another one, they put the screen protector back on, apologized for the inconvenience and gave me cash for the difference in tax. They basically returned the phone without a restocking fee and since La Habra has a lower tax rate than Bellflower, gave me the difference. That was so much better than a straight exchange because it put money back in my pocket. Today, I jumped my wife's 6S Plus for a 7 as a Valentine's/early birthday gift. They had the rose gold color, leather tech21 case and tech21 screen protect in stock and installed everything. They also reviewed my plan and saw that I was on an older plan and paying too much vs. the new specials they had. Not only did I end up paying less monthly, the savings included all my wife's accessories and a SyncUp Drive Wifi hotspot for my Jeep and free roaming in Mexico and Canada (I was having to activate Mexican calling before I crossed the border, pay $10.00 extra/month, then disconnect the feature when I returned or continue to be charged $10.00/month). The in car Wifi let's my kids or me stream YouTube, Netflix, or Hulu without using any data from our plan. Nice. The "all in" plan they switched me to also gave my wife and me unlimited data and 5 gigs each of tethering (we used to be me unlimited data, my wife 4 gigs of data and only 2 gigs of tethering). As a point of reference for how significant this change in plans was, last month I used 212 gigs of data and easily exceeded my tethering since I used that with the kids in the car. So, again, La Habra T-Mobile went the extra mile to make sure I got the best deal, saved money and got the equipment I needed. My go-to store indeed. read more

Went to this location to get my young daughter set up with a SyncUP watch. There was an issue since I was originally a Sprint customer that got grandfathered into T-Mobile. I ended up having to switch completely over to T-Mobile, which was totally fine. The problem was that my Sprint account was set up as a business account (I never requested this so I'm not sure how that happened). Setting up the watch to a business plan was near impossible but could be done with the assistance of T-Mobile customer service in which the sales rep took care of for me. The whole process ended up taking about 2 hours or so since I had to switch over. The REAL problem came after the watch was set up. For whatever reason I was not connecting to the network. I couldn't access any apps and couldn't send any text messages nor get on the internet. The sales rep changed out the SIM card but it didn't help. He told me to give it 24hrs and I should be back up and running. This was not true. I ended up having to come back the next day. This is the reason for the 5 star review right here...Aaron P. was my hero. He was so patient and was able to troubleshoot the issue and fix my phone. Something was wrong with my SIM card tray. He explained how he fixed it but I'm not too tech savvy so it went in one ear and out the other. This process took another 2 hrs but I didn't mind because Aaron was confident I would leave with a fully functioning phone....and I did!!! I have to admit, I came in feeling pretty defeated but left so pleased. Thank you so much Aaron. Your customer service and expertise were top notch and should be recognized!!! read more

I've came to this T-Mobile location with my parents to get new phones for them and for my brother and sister. 3 of them got the Samsung Galaxy Avant and my brother just got the sim card so he can use his unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on T-Mobile. So far, No problems with the reception. Sale Rep Charles was very helpful and he was able to port all their phone number from Verizon and Metro PCS to their new phones. Although I had to come back to Tmobile next day because my dad's cell number didn't get ported to his new phone as he was unaware he needed the passcode to port his number to his new phone. Sale Rep I think it was David was able to help him get the passcode and was able to successfully ported his number. Great job guys!!!! read more

So my dad and I came in today to switch services because Verizon has now become to be compleat piece of shit garbage to us. We are now are saving money and getting better coverage. I can even use my phones data whenever I go to Italy with no extra fee. It wasn't even a hassle to switch, and this location was great. I would give negative stars if possible!!! To rate this store is a joke... I have never and I mean NEVER had a good experience here.. over NINE YEARS, the sales staff has ALWAYS been sub-par; unhelpful, rude, distracted -- more interested in each other than the customers. I told my daughter before she went back, "DONT", but she did and here we go again... Joseph is the Manager... and he is NO manager at all!!! He sold my daughter the wrong phones... she came in asking for an upgrade on 2 phones to iphone7's... he sold us iPhone 6's... She didn't notice until the next morning as it was late when she bought the phones and they were trying to close and rush her out of the store. All of this is ridiculous, because he actually sold us phones with less storage than what we were turning in... He did the "jump" upgrade incorrectly... Now, they want a HUGE amount down to correct... it's just ridiculous... We have tried to correct this over the phone thru customer service but since JOSEPH screwed this up so bad, they cant decipher what happened... it's been over a week... Her phone has all of her baby's pics... that will not fit on this new phone... Joseph seems to have a schedule to be envied as he is NEVER in the store and everyone continues to tell us that he is the only one who can correct this. If I could give a negative review I would. I literally just left and felt compelled to write this review. Not but 10 secs of being there I already felt like I was an imposition to whoever "helped" me and my mom. I say whoever because we didn't even get a greeting or an introduction. We were only there for less than 10 mins and I wished it was even shorter. The staff who we spoke with couldn't even give us the time of day, gave us brief short answers without any sort of help or solution. She kind of just passed us off to the person we initially spoke with to set up our phones. She didn't even want to deal with us, but honestly I didn't want to deal with her ever. As a first time T mobile customer, I was really left unimpressed. I already did not want to switch over but since it was a better deal because of work we thought why not. Man was my apprehension confirmed. Unprofessional and unfriendly, I don't expect a red carpet and VIP treatment but please some respect and some kindness would go a long was since their job is CUSTOMER SERVICE. But hey what do I know. I'm still upset and frustrated because going there was a waste of time. I've been with them for years so wanted to expand my business....BOOOOO they were ZERO help to say the least ] Anyway, Kenny, at the Brea/Birch store, was able to help us set up our lines and get 2 new phones to boot! Haley took over for Kenny to make sure that we received a top-notch cell phone buying experience. She is Very knowledgeable and thorough with all the details of our plan. This is for the service I received from the manager Sahara. I came in for a replacement sim card for one of my business accounts I have. I was first greeted in a very rude manner by the manager Sahara... if you call her capable to be a manager... I have no idea how... She takes my name down and I ask her how long is the wait and all I need is a sim card. She informs me there is a wait & I ask before I wait , if there will be a charge for a sim card for business as my local T Mobile will waive it & so have many other locations... If youre spending over $5K/month for services it doesnt hurt to ask. I have several business accounts with tier 1 credit; with each account having over $999,999 in available credit LOL. I use T Mobile heavily for business mobile services so minor things like this usually get waived even if they charge. She says I would have to ask the customer service rep that will assist me. The tone was in a rude / annoyed / im too cool for you monotone expression... I came here in shorts and you wouldnt figure me with that level of business account based off first impression. Either way I am in retail and customer service should be represented in a fair/kind way for anyone whether race, gender, appearance, etc. I am a paying customer and shouldnt have been treated this way. When it was my turn, I get called up by a gentleman and ask what I needed. I explained the matter and he said, they usually charge but he will waive it this time. (after reviewing my account & seeing +75 accounts on one of the corporation accounts) its only $20 but he said they will take care of it. As he walks to the back stock room to get the sim, Sahara rushes to the back... I am clueless... then a moment later he comes back out and says "Unfortunately we cant cover the sim card but we will pay half the charge for you." WTF!!?!?! Its fine if they said they cant waive the fee but to tell me you can and then misinform me again??? Manager just straight had an attitude with me and I left. I will not be coming back here. I live near up the hill but would rather make the drive to another location where I will not be getting attitude problems. Its only $20 but you dont tell a customer one thing and get denied moments later because manager decides doesnt like you or whatever her problem is. When my wife damaged her phone and the insurance company sent a crappy refurbishment as a replacement, we decided to visit this T-Mobile store to see if anything could be done. After all, her phone had only been a month old and in pristine condition and insurance sent us a dirty, scratched, scuffed phone as a replacement. We were greeted by Charlie, and in a matter of a few minutes he explained he could get us a brand new replacement at no extra cost. Well, needless to say we were extremely happy and I know that if I ever have another issue with a phone, I will be visiting this store. Idk WHAT Valerie is talking about. It's normal to.pay $20 to replace a sim card if you lose it. They replace for free only if yours is damaged.it's not far to leave a negative review just bc you are having a bad day! . Ive come to this store, and several other T-Mobile s in OC....always a great experience. I've been helped by Annabell, who Has recommended services that saved me money. She is soft spoken, but never rude. The manager helped me file an insurance claim once when I dropped my phone and broke it while working in the area....he was awesome and made the experience as painless as possible....and I was really upset when I came in. (last month). I used to use Sprint as my cell phone carrier, terrible network in my area, in addition to non-existing customer service. Ive got to say, my experience with T-Mobile has been great for the last few years. I have a 4g phone, get service at home at last, and when I need help....I know I can count on the staff at the stores to be helpful and friendly, and they actually care! My favorite stores in OC: la habra on Idaho street and the Anaheim location on katella by Hooters/Honda center. (travel all around OC for work) . I dont see a starless review so this will do. DONT GO TO THIS STORE FRONT... take the further drive! Trust me. Wasn't even 10 seconds of being in this office that I felt I was a bother to the team members. First greeting was "what are you here for" wasn't till I left outraged that I got a name from the manager and member who "helped" or at least I thought that's what they were doing. Anyways I come in with a warranty exchange after being on the phone Sunday with a sweetheart who helped me when my phone couldn't even turn on. She asked me a plethora of questions that could disqualify me from not being able to receive warranty exchange; damage to the screen, bending, warping, water damage... none of which apply to me EXCEPT a small crack to the lens on my back camera but with no compromise to the integrity of the camera it's self. After about a half second review and ripping off my current screen protector the team member said I didn't qualify so she couldn't do it. Boxed up the warranty phone and went to the back. She asked her manager at my request then she came out proceeded to say the same thing. This team member weirdly tried to put my screen protector back on after she removed it and cracked it more than it already was. Anyways, upon frustration and not understanding the problem bc the team member didn't seem to know the answer and manager not very clear what I understood was I needed to go to a third party to replace the Back Lens and then bring it back per store manager or else I would be charged 400 dollars non negotiable. I walked out not feeling welcomed or helped. Noticing I was handed back a phone without a screen protector I entered the store again to kindly ask the manager if I could be issued another bc it was to my understanding that screen protectors bought in store had a life time warranty and also bc the team member took mine off without being able to proceed with the exchange. When I was asking the manager and letting him know it was torn off I was rudely interrupted by the member who with a very interesting attitude and chip on her shoulder said "it was already broken". Thank you. I was aware it was the same one I had when I bought the phone it clearly saved my screen. The manager then told me there is no life time warranty and he would not replace the screen because he doesn't have any.???? In my own frustration I said whatever and walked away and the team member Martha chuckled. I know this was towards me bc when I turned around to confront the manager he was already looking at her in disarray. All she had to do was wait till I left to make any kind of remark but she did not. I asked the manager if he thought that was appropriate behavior for a customer and he had no comment I asked again waiting for a reply and nothing.... turns out we have a good family friend that works for T-Mobile for years and he says that the back camera does not disqualify you from warranty exchange and that in fact an screen protector purchased in T-Mobile has a lifetime warranty. Also mentioned that if the store has reported lots of shrink or wasn't getting good numbers and reviews that the manager wouldn't take it bc it can reflect on him badly. Which means this store is more interested in numbers and bonuses(I'm sure) than customer care and satisfaction. Overall trash experience. Martha should be trained on human interaction as she was blunt standoffish rude and didn't make eye contact or introduce herself and when asked her name refused. And managers of store fronts should be concerned with their consumers so that these garbage experience don't lose customers who've been around over 10 years. Also my sister entered the same store front earlier and heard a team member calling a Hispanic lady dumb and stupid for not upgrading a phone bc it would only be 100 dollars more and she would have the new phone but she didn't want to do that so the team member told another team member that she was dumb and stupid but still in proximity where my sister could see and hear. I cannot attest to this bc I was not there but doesn't seem like something she could gain by making up that lie. Don't come here. Simple. read more
