I went to upgrade my phone from an old Samsung to a new Motorola. The guy who helped me said that he couldn't transfer data from my old phone to the one he sold me. He wouldn't even try. After backing everything up on my computer, I did the transfer at home, and wouldn't you know, it worked just fine. I think he was lazy or brand new and didn't know what he was talking about. 2 stars because the wait wasn't bad, the store was staffed well, and they also had my phone in stock when other places around us didn't. Get newer phones for trading in my old phones still owing money on them for free. And keeping my same numbers. With getting the money back to be able to pay off my old phones that I owe! I already have 4 lines with T-mobile and came to add another 2 lines, but Ileana makes me want to cancel the original 4 lines and go to Verizon wireless or Spectrum or AT&T. Do not go this T-Mobile. Went there to what was supped to be a simple easy swap. Due to a charge port not working. Gave them my phone they swap everything out. It was doing some loading. The associate CHRIS assured me everything was good and that I could leave. And it would be faster if I took it home and got on the WiFi and waited for it to finish due to it maybe. Taking an hour. Long story short. I'm having to add everything to my phone again manually. My phone did. Not cross over and mirror my old phone. Like it has done b4 on all my upgrades. I stated I was there for the screen cleaner offered today. He said I had to be put in the system. I then repeated this has never been the case before. He insisted that this is what I must do. I left the store without the give away. There were a few people walking in past me for their Tuesday offer. I got in my car to leave and they crossed in front of me with the free item in their hands. We came in looking for a new iPhone and who attended us was Henry. Things were explained quick and breifly when after my dad asked a question and was ignored. He asked again minutes later and was ignored again as Henry stood infront trying to acess the new phone for us. I went to the T Mobile store on Day Street in Moreno Valley to get some information on the First Responder and 55+ plans that were being offered, after hearing good things from some of the guys at my old office. I have been a long time client of Verizon Wireless, but never liked their plans and offers when it came to data. I met with Dave at this store and was immediately impressed with his knowledge of plans and service. He was able to fit me in with the First Responder plan and showed me all the benefits, to include 3 new free phones. He also worked with me on changing over several lines for my kids that were out of state. He told me to contact him by text on any changes and questions, and he always responded immediately to any questions or concerns. I took my oldest daughter to the store to meet with Dave on an upgrade, and she was equally impressed with his attentive service and knowledge. After leaving the store, she told me that she has never met a cellphone sales rep like Dave, that just seemed to navigate through the system easily and with confidence. She commented that she had just gotten used to the same type of lack-luster concern or understanding that she would experience everywhere like Spectrum or Verizon. The Moreno Valley store was not the closet store to my house. I only happened to walk in to the store to get some information. I dont know if the other T Mobile stores are the same quality of service, but I know that the Moreno Valley Store on Day Street is one of the busiest in the area, and we feel very lucky to have met and worked with Dave on getting us our new service. On another note, I have had tech issues with one of my new phones, but have had great tech support from T Mobile on trying to resolve the issue.
