Then he goes on to tell me that I wasted his time...like no buddy you get paid to be there I don't and essentially it's not the same thing. Top it of he say I should have told him I couldn't afford it after I said he'll no I'm not paying $225 a month. Needless to say I got what I wanted for much less doing it myself.. When I brought it here to CPR, they showed me that it was actually the screen protector and not the actual screen. They quoted me $25 for a new phone protector and offered to put it on for me right there. I was so grateful! When I asked if the other places would know that they said, "Of course, they were trying to take advantage of you!" I had been loyal ever since. The Bad: Fast forward to now (about 10 years later),... I hate to say it but I believe greed has gotten the best of them. I went there a few months ago to repair my iPad screen. It was $260! I went twice last week asking for a quote to submit to insurance both times they took down my information (on a "sticky note") and told me the owner would email or text me a quote within a day or two. I just had a feeling those sticky notes go directly in the trash. Here it is a week (& several follow ups) later and no one has contacted me or knows anything about my previous request(s). My advice,.. pretend you are interested in getting the repair asap, otherwise, I'm quite sure they just throw it in the trash.

For a few days, I had tried many different ways to reach customer service and was treated poorly. Reddit said that Tmobile would help faster if you reached them by social media. So I used Facebook Messenger, and no one responded. Today, I called the corporate toll/free line and was waiting in queue past 45 minutes. Days before, I called around a couple Tmobile stores to inquire about phone chargers at other locations, at which I was placed on hold for 12 minutes, and they disconnected the call. However, I had a special circumstance when I came into this store today. My father's phone charger burned the charging port within his phone, and it could no longer be charged. We knew at that point that he needed a new phone. The account access was very complex because it was under my uncle's name. So, as a process, this particular issue seemed impossible to resolve for both sides involved. And yet, Alison managed to think outside the box like MacGyver. She put my dad's SIM in the display phones and was able to help us get a PIN for my father's phone to access the account. She even helped me authenticate and set up things for my father's phone. It meant a lot to me because I don't get to see my father as often as I would like to, and phones really do keep us connected. So, while I hated Tmobile as a company from bad experiences in the past, I will say that Alison has completely shifted my perspective due to her exceptional customer service and ability to treat people like human beings, which I hardly experience anymore. Alison is the hero of the day. She is highly intelligent, compassionate, and serious about her job. Fast forward a few weeks I went to another T-Mobile store (corporate owned) to present my final Verizon payoff to getting the 800 credit. The associate there was puzzled why we had a three line plan and asked if my wife and I are over 55 (we are). She was extremely helpful and proceeded to tell us we could have a lower priced plan with just two lines on a 55plus plan. She was frustrated we were oversold a plan we did not need and urged me to go back to the Grand Ave. retailer to ask for a bill adjustment. Although polite the Grand Ave. manager there told me they did nothing wrong and was not at all helpful. Basically giving me the middle finger. I ultimately did get some satisfaction from T-Mobile corporate on a billing adjustment. I feel really taken advantage of and will be shouting from the roof tops to stay away from this authorized reseller. They rip off seniors! My take away...always go to a corporate store.
