I visited this store less than a month ago when I got my S25 Ultra. I bought a Zagg screen protector for my phone on the suggestion of the sales staff, was told all of the lifetime warranties for it, registered it like I was supposed to, and had it installed by a staff member. Later that day I noticed it was starting to bubble a little but figured it would be fine, over the next 3 weeks it continued to bubble and soon covered my entire screen. Was in the area today so I stopped in to see what we can do. Turns out nothing. They only give you 14 days to return it, which of course this developed over the course of 3 weeks so you can do the math. What a hassle. I've been a loyal T-Mobile customer for nearly a decade and USUALLY customer service is amazing. My dad was tricked at another location to get this Samsung smart watch for "free" but it was actually $10/month on the phone line. I don't use watches and if I would, it would need to be an apple watch or some fancy brand for work meetings. But definitely not this lame Samsung watch. When I saw the notification added to my line, I IMMEDIATELY contacted T-Mobile. They said I would be charged for the watch if they cancelled the line without returning the watch. It was the recommendation that I bring the watch to a T-Mobile location to cancel. None of the above is why this location specifically got a 1 star. The reasons are below. I came into this location and spoke with EDUARDO. He REFUSED TO LET ME REFUND THE WATCH, since I did not have the credit card that paid for the watch's taxes and things. I told him I did not have the credit card, and would not be able to any time soon. I was reasonable. I offered a scenario for credit or any other solutions. And for the record, I never have this issue with any other retailers during exchanges or refunds. So it seemed strange. Eduardo REFUSED to be helpful!! As soon as I got out of this terribly location, I called corporate. Guess what?? They said the location must be mistaken regarding the corporate policy. They saw no need for me to have the physical credit card and apologized. They asked me to go to a different location and notes will be on file... Guess what?? The Irvine location off Culver and Alton was able to credit my account. What annoyed me the most was I was clearly dissatisfied and Eduardo was like... Have a nice day! Well clearly no thanks to you?? It really feels like they're rubbing it in after causing the initial irritation. And their loss because if I was happy, I would have came back here soon to get the Iphone 13. The worst phone store I've ever been too. Always a long wait, the manager will come in and out of the main room while you are standing there and not ask you if you need help. You're just standing there for periods of time waiting. Go to another T-Mobile store. 2 stars because when i switched over to T-Mobile the girl that helped me was super friendly and nice. I've been back twice since and one time i left because there were 2 employees and 10 people waiting and this time they couldn't help me because they didn't want too. "Call customer service!" I was pleasantly surprised how effective and wonderful the service I received in this store. David Ortiz was very helpful, he didn't rush (unlike the rep in the other T-Mobile store), he looked into the matter carefully and diligently, and solved it in less than 10 min. Our issue was that the primary account holder in our family plan wasn't set correctly. I could not be more pleased with the personnel and product at this T-MOBILE store. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. They had me out of the store in less than 15 minutes with a Home Internet solution called T-Mobile Home Internet. (a attractive hi-tech stand-alone cylinder shaped device that is like a hot-spot on steroids). The device will set you free from the hard wired internet currently offered by most providers, with a vast improvement in speed not to mention, portability. The device set up in just 5 minutes following the APP based prompts after downloading the set-up app from the Google Play Store. A QR code makes locating the APP a snap. The internet speeds I achieved topped out the internet speed checking sites such as Bandwidthplace.com and others, and the device quickly hit redline and beyond as soon as it connected. This 5G device works off the cell tower network (not hard-wired) which means you should be able to take it anywhere. All I can say T-Mobile is 'great job' you've introduced a real 'game changer' to the internet provider world, backed up by a network of brick and motor stores to support it and what you claim is the most advanced 5G network anywhere (which I don't doubt) read more

If they could do less to provide customer service, they would. I called customer service the day before to return a couple of signal boosters. After being on hold for an hour, I finally got someone on the line and they sent me a couple of labels. The rep told me I could pack and drop them at a UPS store or take them to a T-Mobile store. The instructions in the email also mention the options. Since I didn't have a box to pack them in, I tried to take them to a store. The first store I went to did not accept the signal boosters. They said they were owned by a third party and could not accept. They gave me the address for this store because it's a corporate store. I arrived at the store and explained my issue and was told they could not accept the devices. I showed them the email from T-Mobile with instructions to bring these devices to store, but was offered no help. I called customer service again and waited on hold for 20 minutes and spoke with an agent. She was trying to be helpful and spoke with the rep and explained the situation. She sent him the labels and asked if he could take care of the devices. While she was on the phone, the store employee seemed helpful and printed out the lables. As soon as she disconnected, he told me he did not have a box to pack the units and told me to take the lables and pack them myself. What are the chances that a corporate store that probably receives inventory on a regular basis doesn't have a box to pack a small device? read more

My daughters and I showed up at this location 15 minutes before they closed tonight. Jose and Drew stayed with me and my daughters until 9:20 setting us up with new service. They certainly could have told us at 8 o'clock when they were supposed to close that we would have to come back tomorrow, but they did not! both of these gentlemen were friendly, knowledgeable, polite, and very respectful of my daughters and I. One of my daughters, hadn't backed up her phone in about a year and they politely assisted her with doing that before they switched our numbers from AT&T to them. I couldn't say more for the significant, above average service and patience we received from these two gentlemen! Amazing customer service from Jose today. I had ordered two phones online and was having issues with the sim cards. I have been dealing with customer service all day before they finally told me I would need a new sim card. I went to one T Mobile store but they were out of sim cards so I raced to this location and got there at 7:50 p.m., 10 minutes before close. Jose was happy to help and was able to get both phones fixed and was patient throughout the experience, even when dealing with customer service on the phone. I didn't feel rushed by getting there late and walked out with two working phones. It would have been very easy to say that they were closing and to come back tomorrow, but luckily I was able to get my phones fixed the same night. read more

What an awful experience. Was a disfunctional location and horrible management. The manager Tony Araujo had four of his employees standing around unable to help any of the customers because apparently Tom Araujo is the only guy to handle a situation other than paying a bill. I came in with an issue with my phone and been on the phone with technical support with Apple then T-Mobile and was directed to go directly to Tony Araujo's store for in person help. When I arrived an employee greeted me kindly and once I described my issue the employee went to get Tony Araujo. After explaining myself for the eighth time which is absolutely irritating Tony Araujo gave me one look and said it's not our problem. Provided no solution or compassion. As if he didn't want to be bothered. Tony Araujo told me I was rude and to lower my voice. Wow. I was so offended with no help. Well I left and called T mobile corporate and made a formal complaint about Tony Araujo customer service skills. T-mobile you should have a secret shopper there immediately. This T-mobile is scamming people! Another review which mentioned returning an Apple Watch was charged a $50 restocking fee and it almost happened to me. I understand they do have restocking fees which was explained to me when I bought my Apple Watch at the T-mobile on Newport and Walnut. They also explained that for "wearable devices" (Ex: WATCHES) it would be a $25 restocking fee, makes sense.. right? Not according to this store! The associate here was insistent that because you can access the internet, it fell under the restocking fee of $50. She already had a bad attitude and I'm not one to argue so I just took the watch back to the T-mobile on Newport Ave. where I explained what happened here. The manager flat out said "That's wrong, it's a wearable device. I don't know why they would tell you that." He made the return super easy and at half the cost! So, for anyone attempting to make returns here, read your purchase agreement carefully and maybe go to a different location where good customer service exists! read more
