Do not sign up with TMobile phone service. This review is for tmobile.com. The workers lie and are idiots. I tried to sign up with them on June 6 and the worker lied and made it sound so easy. The sim card they sent never worked; they said they would send another one- it never arrived, I cancelled service a week later, 6/23,22, and they still robbed me of a payment on June 30. The workers (not in the U.S.) never once said I needed to cancel autopay separately. Logic dictates that when an account is cancelled, the auto pay should be cancelled, too. I went to try and upgrade my phone and remove a line from my plan and the customer service was not good at all. The man helping me was very lazy and was no help to me at all. I spent my time on my phone on customer service most of my visit. They offered my no incentives and they were no help in explaining the plans that customer service had offered me. I got super nervous reading the reviews for this place. Reviews were relentless, and some of them were extremely situational. Some of them were due to an unfortunate employee that may or may not work there. But I figure most people who leave Yelp reviews are overbearing with their opinions. So let me be one of them. I have been searching for the z3 for a long time. I also needed a new phone desperately. I work hard and I felt it was time to treat myself. So I called ahead of time, and Franco answered. He let me know there was one left and he would put it aside for me. I came in, and that he did. He was EXTREMELY helpful, very nice and personable, and on top of that, he wouldn't give up after exhausting all the possible solutions for me. I was about to walk about because I couldn't afford to buy the phone that day, but he expressed he was here to help and gave me several options until they fit what I needed. He had mentioned he came from another store, and if the store is really as bad as Yelp reviews say, he must have had some sort of impact on them. I had a great experience. So if you're hesitant as to whether you should go to the T-Mobile by your house, just ask for Franco and I'm sure you'll be fine. Who said there wasn't great customer service anymore? Well this T-Mobile store was there for me when I needed it. I am a T-Mobile customer and I needed help clearing space on my phone for a vacation. My internal phone space was full and I couldn't load apps or take pics or videos without a storage full message. Eric, the store manager helped me and now I can take all the pics and videos I want. He was great. I would definitely recommend this location for you phone and service. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I recommend becoming a T-Mobile customer. read more

Don't believe anything T-mobile is selling you all there promotions are just a pyramid scheme and once they have you in auto pay , they'll change the term from watch you have a contact and agree a-pond , and they'll tell you you've getting a credit for your phone and then they'll apply that credit too your bill and tell you that why your bill went up , because you use that credit to pay your bill , they give you no control over that , so be very careful , and as far as them making it right they have no Intention of making it right , they've all got you !!!! We switched from Verizon to T Mobile about a year ago as the monthly price was better and the coverage map looked very much the same. The reality is that we have 1 bar of signal strength N of the 210 freeway so reception is often weak or calls are dropped. When traveling to Lake Havasu, AZ calls cannot be made in the center of town but can be made from the N or S side of the city. T Mobile coverage map is very optimistic. read more

Latroye McFarland-Wilson was our mobile expert and sales associate at T-Mobile. He is truly amazing! We just switched our longtime AT&T account over to T-Mobile and could not be happier. Only regret is that we didn't do it sooner. If you go to this store do yourself a favor and ask for Latroye to help you. Latroye not only has expert knowledge he is the most polite and kind person, he continuously smiles and answers every question you may have without having to ask someone else. He has the answer instantly he goes above and beyond with his customer service he has the patience of a saint. I like going in just to say hi and be cheer'd up with his smile. This T-mobile store is always accommodating we bought several accessories including the screen protectors which have a life time guarantee and they gladly replace them for you in the store. ..The employees in this store do not seem to value professionalism. I asked the employee if he was the only one working that evening as he had a family of five with him and four other customers waiting. He said 'Yes' then he said 'just joking'. Then he became passive agressive and asked me 'Are you the customer service police'. I came in again today the same employee was speaking at the top volume to the other employees while i was being helped. I mentioned to the employee helping me how inappropriate the other individuals behavior was and he had no reaction. The individual's unprofessionalism is a turn off. People pay good money for their phone plans and they deserve respectful customer care. We do not go to your store to serve your needs. Customers should matter. Also in the middle of my appointment other employees were interrupting me and the tmobile employee to say goodbye. I have to share that since the time of my last review, this store stepped it's customer service all the way up. I went in for a warranty exchange an was greeted by the same blond I talked about in my original post. She said hello and told me someone would be with me soon. About 3 minutes passed and I was greeted by Franco, who provided excellent customer service. Franco was very helpful in explaining the transaction, he took the time to put a new cover on my new phone, he explaned how I should utilize dropbox to free up the memory on my phone, and he assisted me in purchasing a wireless charger. This store was awesome. I went in to have them activate my new iPhone 7's and switch all of my info from my old ones as well. I was helped by a gentleman named Eli. He was great. For the first time I felt someone in a T-Mobile store actually liked what they did for a living. He was very helpful and made sure I was in and out as quick as possible with no problems. Dominic blew smoke up our ass to make a sale and promised the phone Tuesday in store and it "didn't come in" and he didn't even call to say it didn't come in and we drove out here for nothing. Then he guaranteed us over night delivery and we'd have it Wednesday and still nothing. We call and now we have to wait a week....what a joke! At any rate, my finacee and I were both looking to switch from Verizon since we were about to lose our unlimited data with them when we upgraded our phones (we were rocking iPhone 4S still LOL). I called around 12 on Friday (today is Monday) and Kyle answered the phone and answered a few quick questions I had about T-Mobile, data plans, and he said he had 2 iPhone 64 gigs that just arrived and he would put them on hold for me...he said he got off at 5PM and I told him I wouldn't be there until 6:30PM, he said he'd wait for me to show up...sure enough he did. He greeted us with a warm smile, talked us through the plans, had our 64 gig iPhone 6s ready to go and switched us over from Verizon with no problems at all. He was very friendly, patient, and must have spent about a good 90 minutes - 2 hours with us explaining everything and being very thorough. He showed us what was different about the new iPhone vs. my old 4S, transferred my pictures, my contacts and recommended some good cases for us. We would totally come back here just for the experience we had with him. Again, can't understand why so many bad reviews...you must not have been helped by Kyle - THANKS KYLE! read more

The customer service at this location truly is horrific. It's amazing that some of the staff there ever were hired, and even more so that they still have their jobs. The demeanor of one male employee there with whom I was forced to deal is totally unsuited to customer service: he doesn't smile, he doesn't make eye contact, he doesn't explain what he's doing while you're waiting for him (no matter how long), in fact he barely speaks. Need I say more? It's as though the guy has been lobotomized. Another employee there--female--is the epitome of bitchiness and stupidity. How she ever came to hold any position of responsibility is completely beyond me--but then we ARE talking about T-Mobile, one of the greediest, most incompetently-run companies on planet Earth. If you're thinking of switching to T-Mobile, all I can say to you is, DON'T. They will lie through their teeth to get your business, then treat you like garbage when you are forced to complain. ANY OTHER CELL PHONE COMPANY WOULD BE A BETTER CHOICE. If you're already a T-Mobile victim, however, stay as far away from this branch as possible and go to the one on Milliken in Ontario--they're light years ahead of the idiots at the Upland branch, though that still isn't saying much. But one employee in Ontario detected and corrected mistaken settings in my phone for which the Upland branch was indisputably responsible. read more

This place is always packed with people waiting to be helped and employees who seem not-at-all knowledgeable. While I waited there for a half hour today (before being told they couldn't help me), I heard people trying to pay their bills being told they'd have to wait 40 minutes, all the while employees were milling around. When I mentioned to the guy that they needed a better system for helping people just trying to pay their bills or get quick questions answered, he said he'd "relay the message." I have been a customer of this location for 4yrs now & let me say I've Never been so Disgusted by their employees.. Not only did they talk me into changing my existing plan to accommodate adding my daughter & reduce my bill (Which was not reduced btw). Then was told if for any reason if I wanted to suspend the line I could do so & not in cure the $50 monthly charge. So for the past 2mos the line has been suspended little did I know I'm still getting billed. Corp says No.. I'm now on a family plan & even if I suspend it its still $10 monthly. Also if i dont want to pay the $10 i can suspend both lines & no money would occure. Well that's not what was explained & No I need my phone. Needless to say this location is very miss leading in the information they give to their customers. I don't even think they know there own policy & procedures. Only to find that they have done this time & time again to other customers also. Lieing about what type of crdt report will be ran (hard or soft). Anyways let's just say I'm Not Happy & I Will Never Go Back To This Location..!! This Place couldn't get 1 star from me even if they had real ones inside.. The phone upgrading itself took a while but the staff was very pleasant and social so the time went by fast! My family had been with Verizon for 20 years prior to switching to T-Mobile this past March. We were sick and tired of the high costs and poor customer service at Verizon. We have been with T-Mobile for a bit now and I have to say. Best move we have made in a while. The coverage isn't the best but it is pretty damn good. The customer service on the phone, in store, on twitter, and everywhere else they offer it, is supreme to any other phone company that I have witnessed first hand. The T-Mobile reps that I have worked with in this store are fantastic. They love to listen to your rants about your previous carrier and rants about life and they are really nice. When we first switched over from Verizon, Latroye (probably spelt it wrong) stayed like 30 minutes past closing just to help us! He never fussed and he answered all of our questions, explained our new bill, and everything that T-Mobile has to offer. We were really impressed. The T-Mobile reps that we have encountered seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs. Where as when we went to Verizon stores, they gave attitude, impatience, and were just horrible. I love this T-Mobile location but most of them have good employees like this one. I highly recommend the switch to T-Mobile if you are questioning. You will not be let down. read more

I went into this location and they were very rude and refused to take the time to listen to my questions. I work in the wireless industry and I was very sad to say that they treated me the way they did. They ignored me for about 20 min and didn't even check back with me to try and see why I was even in the store. T-Mobile: you have failed this city It took about 4 hours in the store to set up service for two phones, and the billing and execution of the promotions did not go as I expected. but if you like bundling all costs into a monthly payment plan then you will like probably be ok. T-Mobile keeps the full balance of the phones as part of your monthly bill, and subsequent promotional credits are applied to the monthly bill, not used to lower the phone balance. They also charged us insurance that we declined. Both these differences added about $80 to our monthly bill. they say you can pay down the phone balance, but was over 1 hour on phone to discuss what was happening, another hour to pay down phone cost in addition to removing the insurance. Their monthly online statement also does not state the phone balance per month; this makes it hard to see how the balance is getting reduced. I would not buy T-Mobile again. read more
