Had tonkotsu and salmon poke bowl here. The quality and taste is great considering the affordable price. Service is excellent as well.

I ventured inside on this lovely Sunday, noting a delightfully serene dining room with only a few select patrons present. I was instantly received by a charming young woman at the counter who extended a remarkably friendly greeting. While my initial impression of the layout was conservative, the hospitality quickly evolved into something genuinely impressive. They also feature a beautifully appointed small bar that crafts cocktails, which adds a sophisticated touch. I escorted myself to an excellent table and requested a bowl of Egg Drop Soup to enjoy while engaging in a brief, lovely conversation with the attentive staff. The preparation was entirely satisfactory. While the interior architecture and decor are not quite as grand in scale as I had initially envisioned, the aesthetic is tastefully curated and not bad at all. For my main course, I selected the Mongolian Beef from the menu a splendid choice, and beautifully priced at $14.85. The gentleman assisting us throughout the afternoon was an absolute credit to the establishment, executing his duties with flawless precision. When the entrée arrived, the flavor profile and presentation left me completely satisfied. Between the exemplary service and the delicious culinary execution, it was an absolute treat. I shall most certainly be returning to this delightful sanctuary

To be clear, I am a New Yorker and know good fast Chinese food. The ambiance was promising. It looked like I was finally going to find what I've been looking for in Phoenix for years. For whatever reason, Chinese restaurants in Arizona serve egg hockey pucks and cover it with various items and call it egg foo young. I even asked about it before I ordered it. Alas when I got home and saw what I had, I was disappointed. It's faster to make it this way but the egg hockey puck had no taste - zero. They could have at least added oyster sauce, a little soy sauce, maybe nam plah, and perhaps sesame oil. It was tasteless. A complete miss. I also ordered something simple, shrimp spring rolls. They were delicious! I inhaled them and will order them again. I'd go again just for the spring rolls. Maybe they have other dishes that are good and I may not entirely give up but the egg foo young is a no go.

I should have looked at my food before I left but I'm too trusting. I even gave theses lazy workers ac$5 tip bc I felt bad but regret that. The grease ripped the bag so when I open the plastic bag the gyoza rolled onto my floor. Lazy employees with no standards. Istay clear of this place. They deserve no customers. Ambiance: do you like crack heads smoking crack three feet out of the window in front of your kids. There is a corner spot by the outside tables. It's the local crack head smoking spot. They do not even care if you are eating. And the employees seem to not care and just let it happen. It's sad, disturbing and disgusting. This business opened a shop with the almost same name as few doors down from a long long time establisher restaurants. They try a different style of food every few months to try to steal more customer. The food has been bad every single time. I do not like Nora at all. But a few doors down is New Asian Kitchen. They have been serving me great food there for over 30 years.

Since I was somewhat homesick, I wanted good boba and popcorn chicken. Thank goodness for Yelp and friend recommendations, since I came across Owl Owl. To my surprise, they also have other delicious food such as beef noodle soup, porkchop rice bowls, and stewed meats. Now I feel like I have a home away from home. In addition, the shop is clean, and the staff are super friendly. I HIGHLY recommend this place! The reviews speak for themselves. I tried the beef noodle soup which has soft tender beef, bouncy noodles, little mustard greens, bok choy and broth with a tiny kick. For appetizers has the popcorn chicken with real pieces of chicken and not just batter. I love the crispy basil pieces in it. Fish cakes was good too which is like a salty tasting mochi-like appetizer. Lu Wei was also good with marinated seaweed, boiled egg and braised tofu. Yummy! And of course I paired it with a Jasmine green milk tea with boba and also got a chocolate boba. They started to get busy to a cozy spot. Service was good. They should put some tables outside to accommodate more in dining seating. Overall delicious and would come back!
