I like the T4 franchises. My wife really likes their Hot Ginger Tea (the kind without milk, and she says you can taste the ginger) with Boba. I usually like their milk teas and their lychee smoothies (which is kind of like a slush). I was getting my phone fixed next door in that complex so I decided to get some drinks after that. - I ordered a Coffee Milk Tea with coffee jelly. Not all T4's or boba places in general for that matter offer coffee milk tea, so I usually order it when it's available. - I ordered the Hot Ginger Tea with boba for my wife and a normal Jasmine Milk Tea with boba for our friend. The drinks came out in a reasonable timeframe and the drinks were pretty good. The space has a lot of seating and they offer some boardgames which means people can hang out and chill. That's a good vibe. This T4 is pretty consistent with the others I've been to, which is why I like these franchise. read more

The side is pretty spacious to fit all the kids and the adults sat in the bar like seating. Ordered the Lychee with lychee jelly at 75% sugar and it was just the perfect tough of lychee flavoring. We also ordered the XLB, for a boba shop it's not too bad. The only thing missing is the ginger dipping sauce that is a stable for XLB. But this will do and satisfied the cravings. Like the size bc it reminds me of the bite size that DTF use to sell. The fried tofu was a bit disappointing bc the cubes were tiny. It's cute for the younger kiddos but for us adults we would prefer the Norman 1inch cube friend tofu. Loved the pepper fried fish balls. There looked like an abundance of pepper sprinkled on the fish balls but when you eat it, the pepper isn't too overbearing. The oolong milk tea tasted good, but was a bit strong in that it leaves a lingering flavor behind. I'm usually good about just ordering drinks with regular sweetness, but for this one I might go one level down next time. The popcorn chicken was really good. It's made fresh so it's hot when you receive it. It wasn't too busy when I got there, but it's good to note it was an early afternoon on a weekday. There's lots of table space and seating inside. The store is open late (until 10PM), so it seems like it would be a good place to study and/or do work. There are some board games in the corner which is nice if you're with other people and plan on spending time inside to eat and drink. Great customer service from the cashier, who was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, my experience with another staff member was not as positive. Due to the noise from the blender and the partition, I ordered a large drink but was initially given a regular. When I pointed it out, the cashier kindly said it was no problem to fix. An older staff member mentioned there would be an extra charge of $.75, which was completely fine with me. She took the regular drink and poured it into a larger cup. I cannot say with certainty what was added, but based on what I observed and the final taste, the drink seemed extremely watered down. I asked her about it and she said she added tea and syrup. I've been here a handful of times but never tried the bbq pork buns. You have to wait about 15 mins for them but worth every minute. Soft little pillows of deliciousness lol. Great treat if you're looking for a snack that is filling, but won't leave you feeling heavy. They have plenty of seating but presents more as a Grab & Go spot. This location, just like the chain, has been pretty consistent for having good boba. I think what sets T4 apart from other boba places is the vast amount of options. It can be an overwhelming amount of options when looking at the menu. You could make most of the drinks hot or iced, combined with many toppings to choose from, and the ability to adjust the Sweetness/Ice level, this place is great for customized drinks. This location also has a vast amount of options for food. The food to me is more like snacks. I ordered the popcorn chicken, this particular time it was missing basil leaves which they add for the aroma. Regardless, the popcorn chicken was still flavorful and had a very light spice to it. Although deep fried, it didn't have too much of a crunchy exterior so it was pretty soft to chew. You do have to pay extra for sauce, I ordered Sweet Chili (cost 25 cents). Their Popcorn Chicken is such a large portion, filling to the brim in its box, definitely worth ordering. I also ordered Deep Fried Popstickers with a side of the Chili Oil (cost $1 extra). There were 8 Popstickers which were good, very crispy on the outside with pork on the inside. A great pair with the Chili Oil although the Chili Oil itself was pretty standard, not too spicy. For my drink I ordered Large Matcha Milk Tea with Cheese Foam and Grass Jelly (regular sweetness/ice level). Personally, I'm very particular with my boba so I didn't give a perfect score but as I mentioned before, I come to T4 to be guaranteed a well-made, sweet boba drink. And it was just that, a good drink. The service was excellent, a nice cashier who quickly took my order and was loud and very clear to hear. My order came out within 10 minutes and they shout what's in your order so you can come up and grab it. There's one Gender Neutral bathroom, I have pictured. Pretty standard & was clean, you do not need to ask for a key/passcode to access. Does not have paper towels, only air dryer. Part of a small plaza, there is a lot of free, public parking. I came at 6pm on a Monday night in early November and there was consistent traffic with customers slowly trickling in. The music/atmosphere is not too loud, and there is so much seating. If you're lucky enough, you can grab a table next to the wall and there's an outlet, a perfect spot to setup for studying. The seats themselves are white cushioned chairs or booths, but pretty hard. Definitely more comfortable than metal which their high-top tables have metal, backless stools. They also provide a couple board games for free. Overall, a nice casual ambiance to study, hangout with friends, or just quickly grab your order and go. Personally, I think this is one of the best boba places near Sac State to go to. I will continue to return whenever I'm craving boba in the area. A nice bonus is they are open very late (10pm everyday). I always get my go-to: jasmine green milk tea with boba or grass jelly (if they have it), and as always, it hit the spot. I came in hungry, so I kinda went all out and ordered like 7 different things off the food menu (LOL) and honestly, loved them all. T4 never disappoints when it comes to variety--they have so many food and drink options, it's hard not to try a little bit of everything. This was our first time at this location of T4. There was tons of parking out front. The shop is very bright and open. Lots of seating...tables, booths and high tables. The menu is huge and a little overwhelming. But there's something for everyone!!! There was no wait to order. My daughters ordered a Thai Milk Tea with Boba and a Strawberry Lemonade Smoothie with Mango Bubbles (popping boba). Drinks are way too expensive and even more so because they never ring up the drinks correctly they're always adding in extra charges that are not disclosed. Me and my sisters will frequent this place when we are in the Arden area as majority of the time the drinks are great and there's not that many good milk tea options in the area as we prefer places that offer cheese foam or sea salt cheese topping. However on a number of occasions they forget to add the sweetener and this really throws off the drink and being as we don't live close to the place we just add sweetener at our own homes and Let It Go. The other Saving Grace is generally they do a good amount of cream cheese topping which saves the drink. However recently me and my sister went and got drinks for the next day. Number one they overcharged us for the cheese foam as the sign said it was only $0.25 cents more yet they charged $1.50 (it was the Jedia tea with cream and upgrade to cream cheese was $0.25) then we asked for no ice and they charge an extra $0.75 which they've never done before and did not say anything about it. The next day we went to have our drinks which total was $16.50. They didn't put the normal amount of cream cheese topping despite how much was charged and then it was not sweetened properly Additionally the cream cheese topping did not feel like it was made right I almost wonder if they only gave us the cream topping which we don't normally get. Based on all this I tried to send a very nice email asking for a refund which I have never done before and I've been ignored on multiple emails. Save your time and don't bother with this place they will not correct their own mistakes and they will sneak in extra charges.***UPDATE***** And to top everything off I see the business commented and it doesn't address the fact that they ignored my emails didn't respond and didn't do a refund for the awful drinks definitely sharing this news with my sisters and we will not be going back but clearly you can see this business does not care! Instead of an apology they continue to try to justify themselves and not address the main issue that their drinks sucked and they will not make it right.
