The drinks were ok. If you are into powdery, colorful drinks that cost a lot, then this is perfect for you. The taro milk tea was quite sugary and a perfect shade of light lavender. The guava slush that my friend got was vibrantly reddish orange. Service is friendly and ambiance is great. Drinks are not. Average C.

I initially came here since I was driving pass town and wanted some boba and curly fries! Unfortunately they no longer have curly fries which I was disappointed about but no big deal. Plus we got extra sauces thanks to the cashier/bobarista. I also ended up getting milk tea and fruit tea as well. Not bad!

Really enjoyed the drink, especially the boba pearls, and the atmosphere! The staff was also really nice. Only wish it was not as pricey!

I was really craving milk tea when I came back from my day trip and Tea Bay was still opened and around the area. I ordered an Roasted Oolong Milk Tea with crema. I was actually really surprised how good the drink was. I was thinking it was going to be like your typical below average boba place, but it had the sweetness and nuttiness taste. I would definitely recommend the drink. I would say the only con is that it's a little pricy. I got a large and it was more than $7 with the crema. I would definitely come back but it wouldn't be mh go to place just because of the price!

Really solid tea spot! I would rate this place a 4.5 out of ten based on the following: Drinks: -taro smoothie half sugar with egg pudding -dragon fruit chia smoothie half sugar The consistency of my drink was perfect. I ordered it half sugar bc I was afraid it would be too sweet but it was actually not too sweet at all. The drink would have prob been perfect had it been full sugar so that's my own fault. As for the taro smoothie and its toppings, it was decent however the texture wasn't as perfect as mine and my bf and I agreed the taro flavor could have been stronger. It was also pretty sweet despite being 50%, so I have a feeling they probably add less taro powder rather than omit the sugar which is why it was blander. I think it's safer to just go for full sugar or 75 percent for their smoothie based drinks so as to not mess with the taste and consistency of the drink. As for food my bf ordered a bento and mozzarella sticks and Said they were also all solid. I really love the fact that they even included sesame balls with his bento and they were piping hot and delicious!I would Def come back to try their fried tofu and fried mushroom.

Tea, boba and snacks. Plenty of options to get your drink on. Weather you like em hot, iced or blended they got you. We have tried a variety of drinks and bonas. The kids favorite are the popping bobas and the adults like the jelly bobas. The service has been ok when it is packed and decent when its not. They do have some board games to play when waiting or chilling out for your drinks/food. Parking in the lot can be tricky and packed, seating they do have some. They also have point system here with 5 stars. Just make sure to let them know you did put it in to get your points, it might slip there mind while they are busy working and forget to tap it in.

One of my favorite boba places in Sac! The oreo ice cream shake is so good, the boba is really good as well. Highly recommend!

A gem in a somewhat sketchy plaza. This place may be hidden in the corner but the interior is very welcoming and nice. We had the brown sugar creme brûlée milk tea with boba and it was delicious just a tad on the sweeter side. As for the food, the popcorn chicken and French fries were a bit seasoned too much but the flavor was yummy! The worker was by herself and yet she was friendly, maintained multiple customers and was quick with our order. Great for college students since it's near Sac State!

You pick your choice of protein, broth, and vegetables. I went with the spicy tonkotsu broth, pork belly, and broccoli. Adequate portion sizes for $20, and the myriad of different toppings makes for a pretty appearance. My approval starts to hit a roadblock when it comes to taste and texture. The pork belly tasted dry. Soaking it in the broth didn't help much. Additionally, the broth was decent but I expected more flavor. It tasted like a watered down version of an original, harder-hitting batch of broth. I wouldn't have minded a creamier consistency either. Creative selection, sub-par execution. With Origami's large menu and close proximity to my workplace, I imagine I might stumble back here eventually. I'm willing to give their non-ramen options a try.

I tried their sukiyaki set, both wagyu and seafood. I wish they had given some instructions on the approach or order I should eat the sets of food. It was a little chaotic trying to figure out how I could submerge all the ingredients in the broth so they would cook evenly. The tempura is perfectly crispy, but the rice was a little brittle and got dried really fast. The texture was more like Vietnamese broken rice, and it caught me off guard because when I tried their sushi a while ago, they used very high-quality rice. As is typical with sukiyaki, the broth becomes very flavorful at the end, absorbing all the flavors from high-quality ingredients, but my udon got a little dry while waiting. Since I tried both set, the wagyu sukiyaki broth became a little too sweet at the end. My favorite is definitely the seafood sukiyaki broth. Would I try these pricy sukiyaki again? Probably not. Would I go back to Azayaka again? 100%. This would not discourage me from going back there any amount.

Daughter ordered the ramen ($18) with the red option, which she enjoyed with the plethora of toppings. Dinner the second time, I got the teishoku set with salmon ($21). Two decently filets of salmon came with rice, miso soup, salad, deep fried egg roll and salad. You also get a choice of either croquette or chawanmushi. The chawanmushi was a highlight for me! Since that visit I have returned three different times, always bringing someone different to show off this excellent restaurant find located near 73rd and Stockton Blvd Engawa Fusion is such a special place-this restaurant is over 30 minutes from my house in Natomas in traffic ,yet that never stops me from trekking my way across Sacramento-I love this place that much. On this particular visit we started with 2 different sushi tacos-We had the tuna version and the salmon version-each priced at $11.00. Now I could write a novel explaining the virtues of these culinary creations but I will keep it short-the tuna and the salmon tacos are such the perfect bite-well balanced-well seasoned-surprisingly heavy in the hand while being light to the taste-it's truly been my favorite new food item discovery of 2026. Next we went with the Stir-Fry Udon and this cost us $16.00. I've described this dish in the past as a dish I could eat every day of my life and would be a very happy person. The flavor and seasonings are flawless, the noodles are cooked perfectly, great chew-a very slurpable noodle for sure. I can easily see why this dish is such a popular item on their menu. This restaurant was given a spot on Yelps Top 100 Places to eat in 2025-nothing in this visit did a thing to show that honor wasn't well deserved. In closing-I don't know if I could recommend this spot any higher and I plan many future visits whenever I want to show people how amazing the culinary experience in Sacramento has truly become. 10/10 experience. PS-Parking could be a bit of a challenge as they share a lot with an auto shop but all of my visits I was able to secure a spot-I am sure you will as wel

The restaurant is super cute and has indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is covered and shaded which is perfect for warmer Sacramento months. I ended up ordering the Umami Udon with special chicken as my protein ($13.50), a Build Your Own Bowl with fried rice, katsu chicken, the triple katsu sauce, and stir fried veggies with "The Works" ($16.50), and Musubi ($8.75). The staff was super friendly and helped me make some decisions for my order and recommended the umami udon special, which I'm so happy about. The food was made fresh and took a little bit, but was packed with care and was nice and hot. I took it home to enjoy and the food was still hot and the portion sizes were really generous. The Umami Udon was amazing, it had perfectly cooked udon noodles that had a great chew in a creamy teriyaki sauce with smokey bacon, mushrooms, onions and garlic. It was a great mix of sweet and savory and lived up to it's umami name. I would order this again and again, it was so good. The Build Your Own bowl was also delicious and I can see why the chicken katsu is a customer favorite. The veggies were fresh and the fried rice was really flavorful. The Spam Musubi had thick slices of spam with a nice marinade and came with sauces for dipping. I'll definitely be back again soon, and while I want to explore more of the menu the umami udon is happening again!

We started with the Soft Shell Crab served with lettuce, herbs, and a tangy vinaigrette. It was very delicious and perfectly crunchy, although the portion was quite small. The Fried Chicken Dumplings were also very good, and the dipping sauce paired perfectly with them. The Saigon Alley Wings were equally delicious -- crispy, flavorful, and definitely one of the highlights. The Dynamite Scallops tasted amazing as well, but again, the portion was very small, so I'd recommend ordering more than one if sharing. The Fried Shrimp tossed in salt and pepper with jalapeños was nicely balanced and not overly salty. The Fried Calamari with cilantro aioli was cooked perfectly -- tender and not rubbery at all. For the mains, the Charbroiled Pork Chops and Short Ribs topped with scallion oil, shallots, and fish sauce vinaigrette were wonderfully flavorful, and the meat was tender. We also tried the Garlic Noodles, which were decent, although I've had better garlic noodles at other restaurants, and they arrived a little cold. The Garlic String Beans sautéed in garlic butter sauce with chili flakes were surprisingly one of my favorites -- crunchy, garlicky, and absolutely delicious. I also loved the Thai Tea because it wasn't overly sweet. For dessert, we tried the sesame balls with condensed milk, which we enjoyed, although it was the only dessert option on the menu. Overall, the food was flavorful and well-prepared, but the portions definitely lean on the smaller side. Ratings:* Ambience: 4/5* Food: 3.5/5* Service: 3/5 -- mainly because it took about 30 minutes to receive the bill. The space was very elegant yet relaxing to enjoy with friends and family. I would definitely go again! The Melon Blush Margarita was amazing as well as a cocktail. I didnt get photos of the desserts but I will say these were interesting. I felt like they were trying to put a lot of things together in one dessert and it wasn't bad but I think keeping it simpler would be better. We got the dark chocolate mousse and the panna cotta? I think I can't remember what it was called and I only liked one ingredient from each. But I would recommend this spot either way!

That makes sense to why the drinks were quite stiff. I understand why many of the older guests chose to sit outside on the patio, where it was much quieter. Danielle was wonderful. Even though she was handling a large party, she remained attentive and checked on us regularly. Food-wise, it fell short for my Asian taste buds, which tend to prefer bolder and more layered flavors. For starters, we had the tartare, which was enjoyable and very flavorful. For the main entrées, we had the beef carpaccio, but it unfortunately missed the mark. The vegetables on top were visually appealing, but flavor-wise it lacked depth. It needed extra mint or perhaps to be wrapped in a sesame leaf to give it more bite and contrast. Next, we tried the lion meatball with veggie fried rice. The meatball was dry and had a grainy texture. It needed more fat in the blend for better richness. Pairing it with a baguette or even a savory donut stick would have added a nice contrast in texture and flavor. I'm usually not a fried rice person, but I kept eating it because it was the only dish I genuinely enjoyed and found well-seasoned. It wasn't the traditional wok-hei style fried rice; instead, it tasted fresher and lighter. I understand and appreciate the direction of the flavors and dishes, as they seem intentionally designed to be more subtle, calming, and approachable for American palates. However, from my perspective and personal preference as someone who enjoys stronger Asian flavors, it lacked the "wow" factor I was hoping for.
