We tried several slushies and corn nuggets! I am excited to find a place that has these. If they could have more of a butter flavor inside, then perfection! But still pretty darn good! Rosee Lychee slushie with popping boba - very yummy and the popping boba are pretty fun. Orange slushie - very refeshing and has bits of orange. Passionfruit slushie - good. Watermelon slushie -ok. The cups are fairly solid due to the lids being firmly fitted (not popping off) which is good. However, if you need to remove the lid for any reason, be careful the edge is sharp. The hours may not be updated on Yelp, so you should call. On Uber Eats, it shows them having a split schedule and open till 3am! (Pic attached). The first time I tried food from here was from an Uber delivery, due to that the food wasn't as hot as it should've been but it was still so good! That time I ordered the popcorn chicken plate combo which comes with a side of rice and macaroni salad. Ever since that day I kept thinking about it so I finally decided to go to the actual restaurant in San Gabriel. There's some seating inside the location but this is more of a "to-go" place which I didn't mind at all. Food: There was only one gentleman working, he took my order and then went into the kitchen to prepare it. I ordered the popcorn chicken combo and a side of fried jalapeños with cream cheese. Once again the combo plate did not disappoint, especially now that it was freshly made! The cream cheese jalapeños were also delicious, they were nice and crispy with the perfect amount of filling. Drinks: I got the Vietnamese Iced coffee and let me tell you it's not for the weak. I was super caffeinated all day which I needed haha but it was very tasty and it's served in a 24oz portion. My bf got the taro milk tea which was also very good! Definitely check this place out next time you're in San Gabriel or look for it on food delivery apps! Is it late? Craving some boba and maybe something to eat? This place does not disappoint. They open late at 11:30pm and we arrived there shortly after they opened for the night. And it was already busy! That's a good indication people like this place. You won't be able to enter the small cafe, but order through the entrance from the parking lot. Thought it was odd, but *shrug*. So don't expect to be able to order and sit down as there is no seating apart from your car. I do suggest ordering it there as it'll be fresh. I've used DoorDash previously and the food just isn't the same. All their boba flavors are good. I do suggest the spam musubi and cheese sticks (pretty much mozzarella sticks). They deep fried the spam before putting it together and it gives it a nice crunch. I did notice some bites were lacking the sauce, so maybe I'll considering getting an extra side of it next time. Would reorder everything except the fries which were too tasteless and cold (likely because of delivery which I don't fault them for). Onion rings were basic but they arrived crispy and were yummy with the ketchup. The chicken was different than your standard popcorn chicken and I still thought it was good and crunchy and breading was a nice change. Fish balls were also a good choice and love that it comes with the sweet chili sauce. Careful when you bite into them as they will squirt! Last was the musubi which was also very different than what I'm used to. The musubi is breaded and fried but it totally works and the fried breading adds great texture. I would only wish they added a bit more sauce as it was a tad dry to me but others loved it as is. Next time I would ask for a small side of the teriyaki sauce for myself. Wifi/Outlets: They have an adequate amount of plugs to plug in and wi-fi is available also. Location/Parking: Located in a small plaza that shares a parking lot with other small businesses. If you can't find parking in the lot, you can park along San Gabriel Blvd. Just be weary with the time restrictions. Ambiance/Decor: Small little boba shop with modern furnishings. You'll also hear some music in the background. Service: Service is good. Staffers are friendly, attentive, and offer great recommendations. Food and drinks come out in a reasonable time frame. Food Of Choice: I usually get either: 1) Popcorn chicken. The chicken is lightly battered, but you can still hear the crunching noise with every bite and the seasoning is great. I usually choose the bbq flavor, but you can choose from the other flavors also: original, or cajun. or 2) Spam Masubi. The masubi is yum! Like to utilize their ranch dipping sauce. I like to come here all the time because of how chill it is. The seating is comfortable and there are wall outlets next to each table, and free wifi. I always end up staying for several hours and the employees are fine with it. There is usually only one employee working. It is a good place for studying or hanging out with friends. They provide free board games for you to play and you do not have to give them your ID like most other places. Some of the games they have are Taboo, Monopoly Deal, Uno, Blockus, Triominos, and Flux. The popcorn chicken and spam musubi are pretty good. Next to the wall menu, there is a screen that shows the most popular drinks. I've tried most of them. The only drink that I did not like is the Fruit Frenzy because it was too sour. Even the pieces of fruit in it were sour. You can never go wrong with any of the flavored green teas or milk teas. I'm glad I decided to try a hot drink called the yuan yang, which has a good ratio of coffee to milk tea. It is interesting to see that the place is rebranding to T2ME. If you order online for delivery, you can get a stamp card (purchase 10 drinks and get 1 free), but it is solely for online ordering. Not sure how many people were in the kitchen, but up front there was only one girl taking orders and making drinks. Another tea house within a few blocks of A Plus, Neighbors, and Tbay? Yep, and T4U has found a way to stand out from the other tea places with their Chamango drink. I didn't try it, but it seems to be a pretty stand out drink that isn't served at most other tea houses. T4U is located in a small plaza on San Gabriel. There's a private parking lot for the plaza, but there's also street parking as well. It's a really tiny tea house, with only two or three tables and a couch area. I think there was another table outside with chairs around it, but when I came with my friend, every seat was taken and we had to resort to going elsewhere to drink our drinks. There were a few drinks I wanted to try from T4U's top ten drinks, but I convinced myself to just get one. I tried the Sea Salt Cream Green Tea, which I have high expectations for. I thought it tasted fairly good. With the Yelp check-in, I received a large sized drink - and with the addition of boba, everything was still under $4. Boba was really good. Chewy and firm, with enough sweetness to give it flavor. It didn't detract from the green tea flavor either. Whenever I order this particular drink, I like to make sure that the cream is separate from the tea. I felt like the color of the tea was pretty similar to the cream, which made me think that maybe milk was added. But the tea was pretty good - not as "pure" as I have had from other places, but I liked it. I would probably put T4U's sea salt cream green tea in my top five, with this being the fifth compared to other tea houses. My friend tried the honey green tea and the Hokkaido milk tea and thought they both were good. Can't really comment much since I only tried one drink and I thought it was good. Service was fast and efficient - drinks came out in under 5 minutes. I wanted to try their Cassava cakes, but they were all out. I will be back to try their popular Chamango drink as well as their Cassava cake and popcorn chicken! Credit card accepted on orders of more than $10, otherwise you can pay $0.40 to use the card. First off, let me just tell you that we were turned off by the fact that it took FOREVER for them to make our drinks.
