I've been coming here since the days of JJ Cafe. And while I really miss Robert and the old boba shop, I really like T4U too. I would highly recommend the match milk tea cold or the blueberry milk tea! Both are extraordinary. Review for drinks only! I was craving for boba, so I decided to yelp for a new boba place to try out. I dropped by, and it was empty. Didn't matter, the place is new and has been open for about two months. The owners were kind, and I asked for their recommendation. He said matcha latte and mango smoothie. I love matcha smoothies when they're made right, so I decided to try it. It was really good, a little sweeter than my liking, but good. As for the mango smoothie, I'm not a fan of fruit smoothies, but decided to get it for my boyfriend. This one is definitely a go to drink now. It was creamy, well blended, a little icy, but definitely won't melt any time soon. Actually tastes like mango and not just flavored. I did pay 50 cents more for real mango on top of the smoothie, but it was definitely worth it. I also ordered a pudding milk tea, which was a perfect blend of milk and tea. My last drink was a passion fruit iced tea. The drink was for another person, but it definitely tasted like passion fruit and tea. Overall, I would definitely come back whenever I'm in the area. If you're not a sweets person, tone down the sweetness. If it's your first time, order the milk tea. If a tea place can't get a milk tea right, then don't go back. :) read more

I love Vietnamese coffee but when I asked for it to be made with minimal sweetness I mean it. The place is pretty small and quiet most of the time. If you are planning to study on your own or with one/two friends, this place should be good. Their popcorn chickens are different than other places, since they do not fry them until it is dry. It is better in my opinion! However, the last time I went there, I had to wait for 40 minutes to get 4 orders of popcorn chickens ready (only one person was working when we came). This place is by far the best boba cafe I've been to. Nice relaxing atmosphere to either hang out with your friends and have a few board/card games or to study. You definitely got to try their milk tea or green tea. You can actually taste the tea in the drink and is made of good quality, unlike all the other places i've tried and all you get is just the milk flavor ...boring. My favorite drink is their taro shake, absolutely to die for! The flavor is so smooth and creamy and not so overwhelming sweet to cover up the true flavor that's there. Perfection. As for the food, the spam musubi is the best! Bar none! Other places just throw some teriyaki sauce, rice, and wrap it in seaweed. Give me something different! But here, the spam is deep fried in tempura! Golden! I'll for sure go back for more. As for the location, there is a little road construction on the way there but you can't skip out a great place because of that. The place is new so I wouldn't expect it to be packed like other places. If you ask me its definitely better, great friendly service, no wait, more room for friends, and quiet for studying, but it does have its busy hours, of course. Nice little boba shop. Loving the green tea and taro smoothie and the boba is just cooked perfectly! I haven't been much of a spam musubi fan but this place changed my mind. While the boba here is decent, I'm really giving 4 stars for their popcorn chicken. In my opinion, it is the best in the area. You get 3 flavor options: cajun, BBQ, and original (spicy, mild, not spicy). Unlike other places, your chicken will come in a styrofoam takeout box with a hole for ventilation. It stays crisp and doesn't get soggy sitting in a bag. They also give you sauce for dipping! And the quantity! They definitely give you more chicken than other places. Better value for the price. There was plenty of parking when I went. To save time, call in your order so you just have to pick it up and go! So come for the boba, return for the popcorn chicken! read more

Location is easy to miss due to road construction on San Gabriel Blvd. Parking is inside of a plaza with plenty parking spaces. It is small place with about three regular size tables and two small tables. The music wasn't too loud. I would definitely come back here! I really like the coconut smoothie! It's fresh and not very sweet. You can get free upgrade if you check in so don't miss the good opportunity. The wifi is fast. Order bbq fries, there isn't any bbq taste only chili powder. The popcorn chicken was more like america fried chicken crust instead of Taiwanese popcorn chicken crust. The peach mango ice tea is really sweet, would recommend 50% sugar. The matcha milk tea isn't green like other places, no hint of matcha taste, just green milk tea taste. I choose the seasalt cream green tea, and an order of the original popcorn chicken. Prices are affordable, my tea plus the chicken came up to be around $9.50. This place is very clean and tidy which I like and the music choices are nice. The cashier/barista was very friendly. The popcorn chicken portions were large and the chicken is crispy and tasty.
