My sister had the chance to attend the Table for 6 launch party and enjoyed sampling Christina's creations. This past weekend my mom, sister and I sat down for a brunch service which was a memorable and delicious experience! Table for 6 allows you to curate your own brunch menu and we went with chicken and waffles, steak and eggs, and corned beef hash for our entrees. You're greeted by Christina who opens up her home for diners in a warm, welcoming, and cozy environment. When weather permits, she has a spacious outdoor dining option. We started off with refreshing tea-based mocktails and a charcuterie board filled to the brim with cheese, crackers, meat, nuts, homemade pickles, and other bites and spreads. She even showcases treats from local vendors such as Gilroy's garlic chips! Be sure to save room for your entree! All of our dishes came in generous portions, were tailored to our taste preferences, and made fresh to order. The cornmeal waffles with Korean inspired fried chicken were a standout, and my family enjoyed their corned beef hash with poached eggs as well as the steak and eggs with flavorful chimichurri sauces on the side. Christina also brought out a basket of breads with a sweet potato biscuit and her specialty sourdough. The biscuit came with cinnamon butter which one of the best bites of the entire brunch! It was sweet and savory which is one of my favorite flavor combos. The cinnamon butter is crave-worthy! Lastly, the dessert platter capped off a delicious afternoon. Christina used to work at CakeLove bakery in Washington, DC and her baked goods are not to be missed. The apple cider donuts were mini but packed a mighty flavor punch, as well as the pumpkin muffins. She provided a non-dairy cream cheese spread to go with the donuts and muffins--yum! The basque cheesecake was baked perfectly and served as the centerpiece of the platter. There was also a creme brulee inspired puff pastry which was my family's favorite. Overall, come hungry to Table for 6! It is a unique dining experience in a lovely environment with a fantastic host who truly loves cooking and entertaining. We plan to come back for an Afternoon Tea service. Thank you, Christina!

This new micro restaurant in San Mateo is the best place in town for ambience and food! My daughter and I both loved the atmosphere outside -- gorgeous setting surrounded by plants and a cozy tea party setting at the table. All of the food was delicious! My favorite was the Brioche French Toast and I also loved the egg salad croissants with microgreens (but forgot to get a photo!). Christina made us feel very welcomed. She pointed out which dishes were vegetarian and was a very gracious host in addition to being a talented chef.

A Must-Try, One-of-a-Kind Experience! Table For 6 is truly a hidden gem and an unforgettable culinary experience. Christina and her husband, Jeremy, welcomed us into their peaceful outdoor space with warmth and genuine hospitality that made us feel right at home. My friends and I were lucky enough to enjoy their private Blue Crab Lunch Special, and it was nothing short of spectacular. We began with a rich, creamy crab chowder, paired with homemade sourdough, biscuits, and an assortment of delicious jams and jellies. A fun and unexpected highlight was learning how to pick crabs with Jeremy--he made it engaging and approachable! From there, the feast rolled out dish after dish: oyster shots, crab cakes, soft-shell crab, hush puppies, collard greens, homemade bacon, coleslaw, corn, and cornbread. What truly stood out was that the majority of the dishes were unique twists or creations we'd never tasted before--a refreshing and exciting change from typical menus. Every bite was thoughtful, flavorful, and made with care. And then came dessert: FIVE incredible sweets--Baltimore Berger cookie pie, Smith Island cake, Virginia peanut pie, fried bread pudding, and cherry crumble bars. Yes, you get full servings of everything! Come very hungry--you will absolutely leave with leftovers, a happy heart, and probably the need for a nap. Most of all, we appreciated the chance to unwind, catch up, and enjoy the company of such kind and passionate hosts. Christina and Jeremy are a true delight, and their love for food and hospitality shines through every detail. This is a must-try experience you won't find anywhere else. Already looking forward to coming back!

We had a wonderful time at Table for 6. Christina and her helper were friendly, courteous and so kind. The food was excellent . . . the charcuterie, the main entrees (corned beef hash and salmon with vegetables), a variety of freshly baked delicous desserts, and the spectacular bread, with plenty leftovers to enjoy the next day, all served in such an inviting atmosphere (inside or outside). You will not be sorry to try Table for 6.

What is the cost of a tea party for 6?

Tea Party is $85/person (as of 6/2025) not including tax/tip. Unless of course you do a custom menu then pricing can change. It was a unique experience :)

The noodles are delicious, the broth is rich yet not greasy, and the beef slices are incredibly tender and smooth. It is almost impossible to find any flaws. If I had to point out one area that could be improved, it would probably be the choice of beef chunks. They are still very tender, but the texture feels just a little dry at times. Even so, this small issue does not take away from the overall experience. Overall, I highly recommend this modern pho restaurant. They also offer many other dishes with great value for the price. Strongly recommended to everyone.

With the sauce they used for the fries, I feel like I got a burger and then some. For the price, that will probably be my go to order since it is more filling than one burger. Overall, good food and I will try again at the original location.

Pick up was super smooth and I got a reminder email the day before and text day of. Do be aware that the croissants should be heated up (air fryer is preferred) while the brownie and basque cheesecake can be eaten right away so it's not a great box to enjoy at the scene. Instructions on how to best enjoy each item is sent via email and I actually enjoyed eating the pastries over the course of a couple of days knowing the proper storing methods. Everything was delicious though! I loved the special kaya cream nian gao filled croissant for Lunar New Year. The contrast between the chewy nian gao, flaky pastry and kaya cream was amazing. I also loved the bitter viet coffee brownie and the super rich, triple cream basque cheesecake slice. I make basque cheesecake myself and I have to say this one was way better! All the flavors were great and felt fresh and natural vs. some pastries which can be too sweet or artificially flavored. Definitely would recommend if you get the chance to pick up in the bay!

My friend and I both ordered boxes from them along with some other foods from other makers. I opted for the signature pastry set and was happily surprised when I opened my box to find this (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=zI-RhYfzK9HR34m9OL86xA&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q). Here's what was in the box along with the baker's descriptions: 1. Oolong and Bailey's Irish Cream croissant (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=4EuzcZNQIIVLItpGqCfB2Q&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q) - Four seasons tea cream, Irish Cream, tasty puffed rice. Seeing how this came, I ate this the same day that it arrived. I was impressed with the presentation and the flavors matched that. In celebration of St. Patrick's Day, this special fused the distinct oolong flavor with the sweet boozy flavor of the Bailey's to make a rich tea flavored pastry. 2. Raspberry lychee rose croissant (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=Pv4en7ZLDdtfrzWumdsuIw&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q) - Subtle lychee cream, floral and tart raspberry rose jam. My favorite item in the box, I reheated this in the toaster oven. The fruit flavors shined with the contrast of the tartness from the raspberry and the sweetness from the lychee. 3. Cardamom bun (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=nlmEFbIbqkHIj8hC4UsCNw&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q) - Fragrant cardamom, chewy brioche. As described, the chewiness of this stood out. It was not overly sweet and the herbiness of the cardamom stands out. 4. Black sesame madeleine (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=zSxPDuDgKhsrLNBAWgKMWg&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q) - Nutty black sesame, cakey inside. The black sesame flavor is a bit muted. I also reheated this in the oven and enjoyed the crunchiness of the outer layer in contrast to the cakeiness of the insides. 5. Vietnamese coffee blackout brownie (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=pGz9uVrXB1SnrfQDPs9vbQ&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q) - Intense black cocoa brownie, Viet coffee cream, sweet condensed milk. This had the most bold flavors of all the items yet was not overly sweet. The chocolate and coffee balanced each other out but I didn't feel the condensed milk added anything. Thankfully, I ate these pastries over the course of a week so my sugar levels didn't skyrocket. I look forward to trying more of their pastries if they appear again on Neon. Otherwise, I'll keep this in mind if they do a pop up.
