My friend and I did the Journey Behind the Falls and had dinner at the Table Rock Restaurant here as well as walking around, enjoying the gorgeous views, and shopping in their nice gift shops. The entire experience was excellent and I will recommend everyone come here to spend an afternoon - then, when it gets dark, to come back to see fireworks and watch the falls lit up at night. For nearly as long as Niagara Falls has been a global travel destination, Table Rock Centre has been at the heart of the falls. The main viewing area is on the edge of Horseshoe Falls, behind which is the Table Rock Welcome Centre. This building has a restaurant overlooking the falls and is also where you'll find shops and an information and ticket booth where you can purchase tickets to the various attractions (like Journey behind the falls, the tunnel etc.. and tours. Journey Behind the Falls offers a close-up view of the falls from the base of Horseshoe Falls. From the Table Rock Welcome Centre, an elevator takes you down 45 meters to tunnels with viewing portals behind the falls and an observation deck near the lower edge of the falls. Table Rock Welcome Center is the main hub for purchasing tickets to the activities/attractions surrounding Niagara Falls on the Canadian side. The Welcome Center is so close to the Falls you are continuously misted (lightly) right up until you walk in the front doors. There is a great viewing area platform just below Table Rock's Restaurant balcony, but you will get damp so be prepared. Once inside, you will find two levels. The main level houses the welcome center; the ticket area where you can purchase tickets from Niagara Parks to the attractions; the Table Rock Shop where you can buy gifts and other trinkets; the Table Rock Market that sells a variety of meal options; access to the Journey Behind the Falls (I highly recommend); and the restrooms. The upper level provides access to another ride called Niagara's Fury. This is the last year for this ride, so if you want to see it now is the time (it was just ok). The second floor also has the Table Rock Restaurant, Table Rock Patio, the general store, more restrooms, and a covered bridge that will lead you to the Falls Incline Railway and the Fallsview Casino Resort. The Welcome center is very clean and the staff were all really friendly. The merchandise here such as Tee's, hats, and other collectables are a bit pricy. The food prices are astronomical so, I recommend bringing your own sandwich or snacks to get your though some of the day especially if you trying to feed an entire family. A fountain soda is $4.50, a hot coffee is $3.25, a bottled water is $4, a 5 oz Bacon Burger is $21, Fish & Chips $20, a 16" cheese or pepperoni pizza is $46, a 16" deluxe pizza which really isn't any better than the cheese or pepperoni is $50. If you are here from the US the conversion rate works out in your favor, yet it still is expensive. Tickets to the Niagara Parks activities cost anywhere from $8 to $30 each. The best deal is to purchase the Adventure Pass Plus. It costs $104 for an adult and $68 for a child. The Pass includes unlimited WEGO bus transportation and rides on the Falls incline railway. The Pass also gets you into all other adventures on the ticket: (1) Journey Behind the Falls, (2) Niagara's Fury, (3) White Water Walk, (4) Niagara Parks Power Station + the Tunnel, (5) Whirlpool Aero Car, (6) the Butterfly Conservatory, (7) The Floral Showhouse, and (8) Niagara-on-the-lake Shuttle (round trip). Table Rock does a great job overall, and I expect the high costs associated with all the items noted above just because we are at Niagara Falls. When comparing Niagara Parks to other attractions I've been to recently such as ICON Park in Orlando, FL, I can say that for the price we paid for the Adventure Pass Plus we got so much more for our money than we could ever get at ICON Park. If you are in the area vacationing, I highly recommend stopping in and seeing all Table Rock and Niagara Parks has to offer. read more

Great place next to the falls. We arrived here by Flixbus and the staff were very helpful in getting my friend connected with a cab. She and my wife were hangry so I let them eat inside while I took an Uber to the hotel. They had trouble finding the accessible path (which does exist) but they ended up taking the incline railway up and beat me. The restaurant Table Rock House is amazing and a great value with locally sourced food and drink. They also have a food court, a large gift shop, and Journey Behind the Falls. read more

Staff was friendly and welcoming, and the place was big! Good job in architecture too, inside and out! The place is beautiful and even has treats to grab and a souvenir shop. Prices can get rowdy though. I tried their ice cream and it was delicious and well proportioned! Some of the souvenirs they had were also charming! When we first started planning our trip, I was a bit overwhelmed about Niagara Falls. Despite the fact that I had been before when I was younger, I remember almost nothing about it. I knew you could just walk up to the falls, but where would we park the car? Was there a good logical starting point? Is there somewhere with the best view? That's where Table Rock Welcome Centre came in. After looking over TripAdvisor, I noticed that people said the view here is one of the best because you're right on top of Horseshoe Falls. There's also a gift shop and a Tim Hortons inside, so you can pop in for some heat and warmth if it gets too cold. We popped the Welcome Centre into the GPS as our to-go point, but ended up dropping the car off at the hotel first. We walked down the hill and started at the beginning of the pathway at the American side of the Falls. Then we walked along until we hit Table Rock. The view here is actually quite nice as you're right on top of Horseshoe Falls. However, since there is such a nice view - and this is where most tour buses drop off their passengers, it does get crowded and you will have to wait to take your turn at the railing. The gift shop is here your standard tourist attraction gift shop. If you're into Christmas decorations, they have a very full section. I ended up buying some Niagara Falls Christmas ornaments to bring back as souvenirs. You can also buy tickets to some Niagara Falls attractions here. It is also where the Journey Behind the Falls tour begins. The Welcome Centre also has an overpass that will take you across the street to the Falls Incline Railway. read more

I had no expectation about The Table rock welcome center restaurant. Just I want to relax and enjoy Niagara Falls. But, There were good foods than I thought. The steak and chicken were delicious and the kids menu was fine. Desserts were also soooooooo fantastic. I want to be there next summer. read more

View is spectacular, but beware when shopping at the gift store. I bought several items, 2 were clearance makes as 50% off and verified by cashier at checkout, then I used the 20% off my entire purchase coupon given to me when I picked up my wonder pass. Well the coupon actually wiped out the clearance price, charged me full price then discounted the items by 20%. I was overcharged over $30 and when the I informed them via email with all the documentation the above explanation was just supposed to be acceptable. I am appalled by the response to the matter and am now looking into reporting the matter to my credit card as fraud. read more

Nice, not disappointed. Visited with my family (2 adults, 2 teenagers) in July 2019. Amazinnggg views. Perfect weather, around 70s and 80s (degrees F). Very crowded and touristy. Walked into the patio restaurant with no wait, good food and service but not worth the price. Everything here is overpriced as you would expect. Central location next to the falls and near many restaurants. Has a gift shop and a Tim Hortons as well, and the entrance to Journey Behind the Falls. Journey Behind the Falls is cool, but is it worth it? No. Cave of the winds is a similar attraction but far better. If you can only do one attraction though, Maid of the Mist basically has it all (boat tour, small boardwalk next to the falls). read more

Bewildering at first. This place is so packed, so crazy AT ALL TIMES. There are restaurants here, actual attractions, many a gift shop. Quite a bit to take in. You will have to enter here at some point in your trip. Sorry. The bathrooms, both men's and women's, have a foot wash station. No water fountains anywhere near here. A side note of positivity. Most of the landscaping around the visitors center is edible and is used in the center's restaurants. read more

one of the best views in all the world, and you can see it from being indoors. the welcome centre is very much welcoming, and it definitely looks bigger on the outside then the inside. the day that we visited the wind was pushing the mist from the falls into our direction and im not a fan of being wet, so rather then fight through it we ran inside to dry off and take a bit of break. we came into the "right side" which was an eye opening experience for me, we walked into the photo shop, and I couldn't help but notice all the photo prices, and photos with frames and blah blah. also used this place for a quick bathroom break in cleaning off our glasses from all the mist. something for everyone to see here, even just the way the building looks from the outside is awesome to stare at. highly recommend swinging by this building. read more

There's a new restaurant that opened this spring called Table Rock House Restaurant locates in the welcome center. The food is from local farms, etc. you get an amazing view of the falls. They offer three and four course meal selection that are worth giving a try. read more

The Table Rock Welcome Center is the nucleus for anyone visiting Niagara Falls in Canada. The WEGO bus system starts and ends right here, so travel to any surrounding attraction is convenient and inexpensive. The center is prime falls viewing territory from both inside and our, with large paned windows all oriented to the falls. Service windows with friendly staff are available to assist visitors with questions, atrraction tickets, maps. Several gift shops are contained inside the complex, all very well stocked. Food options are plentiful. I wanted to review the Table Rock House Restaraunt on its own....but dont see a listing here on Yelp for it. In short, don't go there unless you want to pay $23.00 for the worst, most overcooked hamburger you've ever had. It is a beautiful plave overlooking the falls but they must be charging for the view because the food falls dismally short. Tim Horton's is a better bet! Two major attractions are housed within the Center-Journey Behind the Falls and Niagara's Fury. Both are worth doing, especially on a rainy day. The passes offerred, this year it's called Adventure Pass, include two days unlimited bus service, and four attractions- the two I mentioned, plus the Hornblower boat trip to the Falls (not to be missed) as well as Whitewater Walk, which is amazing and beautiful all by itself. Try to hit this place in the morning, otherwise it gets too crowded to just leisurely stroll and take your time looking at things. read more
