His fun and positive personality added to the experience, and I felt really well taken care of I love taking myself on solo dinner dates, and this is exactly why I enjoy dining alone sometimes. It gives me the chance to fully soak in the experience without any distractions. The food was absolutely delicious, the Sashimi melts in your mouth, just like butter Also knowing the fish comes directly from Japan made it even more special. I had a wonderful time and really appreciated the great service!

We knew that it would be costly but can still be a surprise when the bill arrives, watch out for the drinks We only ordered what we had seen reviewed and listened to our servers recommendations. There are a few things we plan to go back and try though. Based on his recommendation we tried the scallop temaki and it was delicious but we still really want to try the scallop spoons. Everyone talked about the sushi so we tried the house Iza Sake roll, it was good but honestly didn't blow us away. So many reviews told us to splurge on the Wagu A-5 hot rock lettuce wraps. It was fun to have them cooked in front of us and the meat was buttery, I would say to save your money. Let them cook your fried rice in front of you for the ambiance and you get more for less money. It also has Wagu beef. We also tried the bone marrow and we liked it but I do believe it's an acquired taste. We had two mixed drinks the Hibiscus Shoga, very good, but a bit too sweet. Then the Kohahu Carmel Old Fashioned which was a recommendation and we love old fashions. This was good but way too sweet for us. I do recommend the Kurosawa Nigori. We plan to return to try the spoons and seafood risotto and maybe the lobster temaki. Also recommend going earlier than later. We had an 8pm reservation and the grill was cleaned at 9pm so it was a surprise to have the kitchen closed so early.

We come back again and again just for those, and we've even called in takeout orders when a craving hits. We also love the Poke Nachos, topped with generous chunks of sashimi, avocado, and jalapeños. The fries and poke nachos together are more than enough for two people to share for lunch, and for dinner we usually order one of their delicious rice bowls. The restaurant has a great atmosphere with a bar area featuring TVs, a separate dining room with high-top tables where the sushi bar is, and a back dining area with standard-height tables and chairs. There's also a beautiful patio overlooking a water fountain and courtyard, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal outdoors. If you're visiting Namikaze for the first time, the Loaded Otaku Fries are an absolute must-order!

We ordered from main and happy hour menus, and we enjoyed the sashimi and sushi roll (wrapped in cucumber). What we wished we had more of was the ahi tuna on top of the Namikaze Nachos. The wonton chips and the rest of the toppings were great, but the lack of ahi tuna, which was the best part, changed the entire dish for us.

Huge menu with a lot to choose from - I usually go for the bento boxes. The tempura isn't greasy but it's crunchy. Gyozas are good and fresh. The sushi I've tried has been tasty too. There's another side to the restaurant that I believe is the teppanyaki side. Haven't experienced it yet since I've only come for lunch. I'm wondering if they get a lot of business since it's so barren when I go. Hoping they get enough business because I do enjoy this restaurant!

Once we walked in we noticed it was pretty empty for a Saturday afternoon, but nonetheless we weren't bothered or worried. Great music selection and the sushi chefs were a blast to talk with. Their humor made our lunch even that more enjoyable. We definitely made some friends and looking forward to come back another time.

Food is made per order so always hot and fresh. The Dino ribs had great flavor and I did not expect to be that many beef ribs in there... great value! When I saw the breakfast burrito post and Laotian sausage it was a must try. I haven't seen that fusion before and it was a good size burrito with nice crunchy tots, the Lao sausage added a delicious herb flavor to the meat and the sauce was the perfect touch to balance everything out. And wash it down with Ube horchata, perfect combination of 2 flavors and very refreshing.

Fan-freaking-tastic!!!…read more 3-4pm and I hadn't eaten all day yet. Got done with a haircut nearby and had this place in mind for my meal the entire time. It did not disappoint. I've had Ohana Shack a few times before, door dashed for lunch and one other time when I had my last haircut, popped in for some Spam Musubis (they were out today). Walked in and every table was packed! Girl at the counter was super friendly and was patient with me while I tried to decide what else to get (my mind was set on Musubis). I saw the Salmon Furikake on the menu and asked her what she thought of that dish... she said it was her favorite so I took her word for it. Let me tell you-- it's damn good! An explosion of flavor in my mouth. Freaking delish. Idk, might've been because I was starving as well but nahhh... that's some good stuff. The rice portion-- meh. But that's probably the norm for most people lol I, however, like a lotttt of rice (that's a me problem, I know). Their Mac salad, perf. Other dish I've tried is their Kalbi Short ribs... really yummy as well and their Musubis-- well, they were sold out today so that should tell you. The Ube Horchata is decent. Not too sweet. Anyway, I cleaned that Salmon dish entirely. I'm satisfied and was inclined to come write my review. It's a yes from me.
