Everyone talked about the sushi so we tried the house Iza Sake roll, it was good but honestly didn't blow us away. So many reviews told us to splurge on the Wagu A-5 hot rock lettuce wraps. It was fun to have them cooked in front of us and the meat was buttery, I would say to save your money. Let them cook your fried rice in front of you for the ambiance and you get more for less money. It also has Wagu beef. We also tried the bone marrow and we liked it but I do believe it's an acquired taste. We had two mixed drinks the Hibiscus Shoga, very good, but a bit too sweet. Then the Kohahu Carmel Old Fashioned which was a recommendation and we love old fashions. This was good but way too sweet for us. I do recommend the Kurosawa Nigori. We plan to return to try the spoons and seafood risotto and maybe the lobster temaki. Also recommend going earlier than later. We had an 8pm reservation and the grill was cleaned at 9pm so it was a surprise to have the kitchen closed so early.
