These tacos were really good and really stuffed. I came when they had a deal going on for taco Tuesdays. The workers were great and told me which tacos were their favorite and which I should get. Food came out pretty fast and sauces are located on the side and you put them on the tacos yourself, which I really liked. I just feel like the tacos were missing a moist factor, like a creamy sauce or sour cream. But overall really good and will come again when I am in the area.

Straight to the point, these tacos were STUFFED. I really appreciated how much meat came in each taco, only thing is that the different meats didn't really taste too different from each other. Other than that the staff was great and welcoming. Plus, the restaurant itself was clean and had lots of seating. I actually liked the fact that they leave all the topping at a side bar for you to add yourself.

Combo #1 with carnitas tacos, rice and beans

The flavors of the food here are very good! They only serve quesobirria tacos on Thursday so if that's what your looking for, they only have them for one day. That's what I went in for! Although, we were sad to have missed the best day, in my opinion, my family and I tried different options. I got the combo #1 which comes with your choice of two tacos, rice, and beans. I chose carnitas because that will always be my favorite! My husband got the torta, which that sandwich was the size of his head! My son got the carne asada fries which were amazing! I couldn't get a pic of those because the kiddo dug in too fast, but take my word for it, they were amazing! The portions are a really good size. They do have agua frescas here like jamaica, tamarindo, and horchata. The horchata is made the Salvadorian way, with Morro, just for your awareness! Go try them out, you will not be disappointed!

My family and I came here for dinner, ordered a couple, Conasauga fries, Canastota, tacos, and a variety of tacos. The salsa bar was great. My favorite is the spicy salsa. The cheese taste like Ricos cheese for the nachos. I was a little disappointed to see my food come out on the paper plates that I use at home, lol. And the fries - were a small plate, not very generous at all. The only things that I'm not a fan of is the increase dollar for what is cheese and sour cream, charged 4% fee for using your credit card, and Birria tacos are ONLY AVAIL ON THURSDAYs.

Authentic Mexican. Nice clean atmosphere. Soft tacos with high quality meat. Fixings, what they calm "americano style" come on request only. Family opinion varies. The cheese quesadillas were terrific. Fries were thicker than McDonalds and crisp. No chips and salsa and no hard shells on the menu. My favorite were the tacos. The pork, beef and chicken were all excellent. Salsa came separate and was spicy. If you want authentic and comfortable, this place is a destination worth traveling too.

When someone says tacos, I always jump for joy and hardly ever let the opportunity pass. Taco Bar is a hole in the wall located in Frederick, MD off of West Patrick Street. A tiny gem with gratifying, bold, and savory flavors. The restaurant's interior was so inviting from the celebration of colors of the dia de los Muertos which means the Day of the Dead. These tacos were beyond delicious! I ordered the al pastor and chorizo tacos from their combo menu and I knew from the start that there will be zero regrets. The meal came with rice, beans, and a drink. The horchata drink is a must get! It was creamy but not overly sweet. The pork tasted like it was marinated for hours and the sautéed onions gave it the extra flavor. The chorizo was seasoned very well but slightly too salty for my taste buds. FYI they offer 20% off during Taco Tuesdays. Friendly staff and quick to serve! Grateful for another taco joint and worth a drive to the Frederick area!

Food sooo good atmosphere sooo good and they have an entire vegan menu. They use beyond meat for the veggie food. I definitely recommend??

    Birria Fries ..

Literally the worst Mexican food in Frederick, and it is expensive too.. No flavor, bad service , no wonder it was completely empty on a Friday night. You can get more authentic flavor in a Taco bell.

Food is great, fairly priced. The tostadas were very good! Looking forward to trying the Birria tacos which they only have on Thursdays

Well folks, my exploration of Maryland continues. Came here to have "street tacos". They missed the mark. The steak is not the traditional "carne asada" tacos. The pieces are too large, the tortillas are too big and the flavor is meh. So, been here, doubt I'll come back. Plus the price!! Wow, definitely an indication of the inflation we are in.

We wanted a memorable place to mark the occasion and chose Showroom. I even noted both celebrations when making our reservation a week in advance. The hostess was friendly and kind, although clearer direction on where to wait would have helped. The front entrance was congested, and we felt like we were in everyone's way. Unfortunately, the service never matched the occasion. Our server never introduced themselves or acknowledged either celebration. They began taking orders without any engagement, and throughout the meal we were repeatedly unable to get their attention. I understand Sunday brunch is busy, but I work in a concierge-driven environment and was genuinely disappointed by the lack of hospitality. The food was mixed. The chicken and waffles and the omelet were good. My husband's steak was cold and the portion was very small. He ordered French fries but received unseasoned potatoes that lacked any flavor. My fish and chips were fine but also lacked seasoning, lemon, or any attention to detail. I specifically requested fries without Old Bay but received fries heavily coated in it. We also ordered a steak and eggs meal to go, which took about 30 minutes. When it was opened later, it contained only three small slices of steak. My brother-in-law genuinely thought he had been given someone's leftovers because the portion was so disappointing. My husband quietly paid the $300 bill while I still hoped someone might acknowledge the birthday or retirement with a simple mention, smile, or thank you. It never happened. We were never even offered a desert menu. We left without a goodbye or any acknowledgment from the staff. Disappointed doesn't begin to describe how we felt. We had many options in Frederick but chose Showroom because we expected a special experience. I could tell my family didn't want to complain because I had spoken so highly of the restaurant, but they were equally underwhelmed. Please do better.

I had driven two hours and was hungry, but I was also committed to making good decisions. Or at least mostly good decisions... The hostess offered me a seat at the second-floor bar rather than the quoted 25-30 minute wait. Great! Solo diners love surprise upgrades. Unfortunately, when I got upstairs, the one "available" seat had apparently been claimed by a diaper bag and a giant straw sunhat belonging to the woman sitting next to it holding a too-little-to-walk baby sitting at the bar. Uhhh...this isn't going to work. Back downstairs I went. I gave them my name and number, found a shady spot outside, and settled in for what I assumed would be a long wait. Five minutes later, my table was ready. Thank you, Universe! My server greeted me with water immediately, explained the QR code menu situation, and told me not to order through the app because she'd be right back. No worries, friend. I'd already done my homework. I knew exactly what I wanted. One Martha Stewart's Prison Pizza ($22), please. (Sausage, broccoli, ricotta, Calabrian chili peppers, lemon oil, and sea salt.) I asked for the chili peppers on the side because I know myself. I like adventure. I don't enjoy possibly setting my mouth on fire. And a Diet Pepsi ($3.50), because balance. While I waited, I people-watched, which is one of my favorite hobbies. White Rabbit was PACKED. The patio was full. The downstairs bar was full. Upstairs was full. Couples, groups of girlfriends, older folks, younger folks, families, solo diners...everyone seemed happy to be there. The place itself is pretty small, which explains the wait. Six tables downstairs, maybe eight bar seats, more seating upstairs, and a constant dance of servers carrying food through the same front door customers use. Add the "please wait to be seated" crowd gathering in the narrow hallway and I'd describe things as organized chaos. But once I was seated, I was perfectly comfortable and out of the traffic pattern. One cool touch I noticed: outlets and USB ports built right into the front of the bar. Maybe that's common and I've somehow missed it all these years, but I thought it was pretty neat. Then my pizza arrived. Oh good lawd. OH. GOOD. LAWD. This pizza was SO GOOD! I knew from the first bite that I was in trouble. There was no sauce, which surprised me at first, but after approximately three seconds I no longer cared. The sausage was plentiful. The broccoli added texture. The ricotta was creamy and rich. And that lemon oil?! That lemon oil set it off! Everything just worked together perfectly. The Calabrian peppers arrived on the side exactly as requested. I bravely sampled a very small amount on my fork before desecrating my pizza and quickly determined that folks with stronger heat tolerance than me will absolutely love them. They were just a little too spicy for my delicate tastebuds. Thankfully, the pizza was incredible without them. And those slices? MONSTERS. I ate one and seriously contemplated a second before reminding myself that I had dessert plans elsewhere. A box was requested. Self-control was exercised. Barely. As a solo diner, I also want to give White Rabbit extra points. Multiple staff members checked on me throughout the meal. I never felt forgotten, rushed, or weird sitting by myself. Everyone was warm, kind, and made me feel completely comfortable. I really appreciated that. My total bill came to $32.44 including tip which felt really reasonable given the amount of pizza I consumed and brought home. Worth every penny. I'm already scheming my next two-hour drive back. Maybe a smashburger. Maybe those Brussels sprouts everyone keeps raving about. Maybe another pizza. Maybe all of it! I highly recommend checking out White Rabbit. Make it a destination, not just a stop while you're in the area. Don't let the size of the place or the wait scare you off. It's totally worth it. PRO TIP: If you park in the Church Street Parking Garage, look for the staircase labeled "STAIR 3." White Rabbit is literally right outside the door at the bottom. No hide-and-seek required!

She was apologetic for the wait and seemed genuinely embarrassed, but we assured her that it was ok and it wasn't her fault. Once we were seated we were greeted by our waiter, Jose. This guy was a rock-star! Customer service was top-notch, and he was extremely friendly. I ordered a plate of Loaded Cheese Fries to share with my son, as we weren't very hungry. When the food was brought to our table it was hot and delicious, but the fries cooled down fast and became stale-feeling. But, to be fair, I suppose that's what happens when you load refrigerated dairy producted on top of hot fries! Other than the fries cooling down way too quickly, I have zero complaints and would recommend this location to my friends and family!
