Pulled into the Taco Bell today to grab a quick bite. Order was the usual upsell hell, but no I if I wanted extra beef, sour cream, or jalapeños... I would ask. The issue arose at the drive through window, when the cashier refused to accept my USD $10 bill, because it wasn't in pristine condition. I simply took the bill back, telling the Taco Bell cashier to have a nice day, and drove next door to the Burger King restaurant... Who gladly accepted the bill for payment without question. Ordered DoorDash. The food came on time, but it was a completely wrong order. I ordered a crispy burrito and tater tots and I got five tacos and a small order of tater tots. This location used to be great. We have been regulars for the last 8 years. That being said, the last 4 times we have gone our order has been wrong. Also their staff is always young kids (typical of fast food) and they're really loud and borderline inappropriate. As a former quick service manager, I honestly believe that the order mishaps we've had could've been avoided if the employees were doing less horsing around and focusing more. I went to the drive thru and I made some unique request. Steak burrito? Asking if they can split the large slushee for my two girls. Without skipping a beat, the young man and lady working were so accommodating and didn't make it an issue at all. I understand it was really hot yesterday, we all experienced in WA! But to be able to place a mobile order at this Taco Bell(TURN MOBILE ORDERING OFF!). But you took my order and said it would be ready in less than 30 minutes for in store pick up. We get to store and there is a note that the lobby is closed due to heat and being short staffed. I was no longer able to cancel my mobile order and had already made the trek from my house. I called the store since I could not go inside and they said they had no idea when my order would be ready and I would have to pick up through drive thru which was over an hour wait to get to speaker. Went there tonight around 7:20 pm and the drive thru cashier rushed me for my order didn't listen to a single thing I said except for the core order. I ask her to change the crunchy taco to a soft taco supreme and she just said "soft taco okay do you wanna add sour cream or extra beef?" And I said no a supreme and she still didn't listen. To begin with my Uber eats order was confused with another customers order and was told we couldn't receive our food. So my wife and I drove to the store and walked inside to a filthy nasty mess behind the counter with food and trash everywhere, not to mention the MASSIVE lack of customer service. 10 minutes of standing at the counter comes our order that was thrown in the counter top a little to unprofessional id say. First review after being on Yelp for years. My order is wrong 98% of the time. What's the point of offering customizations if they are not honored? The lobby is also closed more times than not which leads to three options: 1. Check the order myself by opening and picking through every item with not-yet-washed hands -OR- 2. Deal with the fact that I just paid for an incorrect meal and paid extra for ignored customizations -OR- 3. Sit in the long line at the drive-thru again and explain my order through the speaker box; making the reason I use the mobile app irrelevant. Rated 1 star to hopefully get the attention of the manager so they can help get this Taco Bell to standards of at least getting the order right more often than not. I understand that mistakes happen, but these mistakes should not be happening so regularly. Eventually, we stopped going through the drive thru because our order was always incomplete and messy. Swung thru the drive-thru on our way to Buckley, ordered a Quesarito and was told they couldn't take my order for that, they could only accept orders for Quesaritos thru the App?!?!! Never had this happen before. Drove around to the parking lot (annoyed), and tried to log on to their app, but it wasn't working.
