Food is great and it's is perfect. Service was nice and polite. Ambiance is really loud.

A staple of the Pacific NW, and this is the first location on the east coast. It's exactly as I remember it. It's fast food tacos, nothing fancy, but I think it beats Taco Bell any day of the week. Everything tastes much fresher and the flavor palette is a lot broader than Taco Bell. This location has had achingly slow service but it's been picking up the pace as the weeks go on. I desperately hope this place thrives so I don't have to fly all the way back to Oregon to get my fix! read more

So I get it. Taco Bell. Not expecting gourmet tacos. Not looking for high end, organic ingredients. What I am looking for is getting everything I ordered in my bag. This is the second time in 4 weeks I've ordered a bag of tacos and come up short. There is literally nothing worse than coming home and expecting X number of tacos and receiving X - 1 tacos. Sure, I could drive back and complain and get my taco back but it's 11pm and I'm tired. Not happening. Jokes aside, I paid for six tacos and received 5. Happened twice. Taco Bell owes me money. You have to calibrate your expectations for Taco Bell. I mean, really, it's a place where a human can fill himself up for about the same price as a tin of dog food. So your main criteria are cleanliness, speed, consistency and quality. This Taco Bell ticks all my boxes. I have been boycotting this Taco Bell for the past few weeks because: 1. The soda coming from the machine always tastes terrible, like the water is toxic. 2. The prices are outrageously expensive compared to the Taco Bell in Fair Lakes. The other TB off of route 50 in Chantilly also has high prices. For example, as of May 2014, the Mexican Pizza combo is $8.99 at this location and is only $5.99 at the Fair Lakes TB. read more

At the risk of offending all my authentic Mexican food loving - friends, I must make an admission. Every once in a while (not often, mind you) I crave Taco Bell. It's not something I generally shout from the rooftops, but hey, it's the truth. More specifically, sometimes I just want a a Taco Bell crunchy taco. Don't judge me. I happened to stop by this particular location for no other reason than I was in the neighborhood and had a craving. I got through the drive thru just fine. My order was filled correctly and the food tasted as I expected - not great, not bad, just Taco Bellish. (Is that a word?) Anyway, the one remarkable factor of this particular experience was the drive thru guy "Will". He was personable, friendly, and dare I say 'top notch'. He succeeded in doing something that no other Taco Bell employee has ever done for me before. He actually made the whole experience memorable - in a very good way. I mean hey, I'm writing about it on Yelp, after all. :-) In any case, I can't attest for the other not-so-good Yelp reviews of this location. The morning staffs are nasty and act like their paycheck depends on the sauce, they're obnoxious, do not know how to greet customers, extremely rude. They need to go and you need brand new staffs, this is not a high end restaurant it doesn't mean they should allow trash employees who never got educated in treating customers right! Once I waited 40 minutes In the drive thru because I was trapped by the cars behind me and there is no other way out once you're in that line. When I got to the window and asked why, the woman who said she is the manager said there were only two people working on a Saturday night at 9:00. Also I know it's Taco Bell, but the one in Herndon taste significantly more "fresh"than the food I get here 100% of the time. Most of the time I end up driving right by and going to the Chik Fil a when the line is super long. Fact: George Washington was the 1st President. Fact: Light travels 186,282 miles per second. Fact: Not all Taco Bell's are created equal. In my neck of the woods, there are three Taco Bell locations (not including the one in the mall). The one on Chantilly Place, in my opinion, is the better of the three. While you may receive the same food at each location, the Chantilly Place store is a remodeled version, clean, and has friendly and helpful employees. My only complaint is that the soda machine in the dinning area produces flat soft drinks. If you ask them for soda from the drive-thru machine, the soda tastes fine. Notably, I stopped going to the Metrotech Dr. store because, for some odd reason, the prices are actually more. Additionally, it is an older store that always seems to be dirty. read more

Fast food is what it is, my visit was nothing out of the ordinary, got my food, everything was correct on my order and all tasted good. The employees are pretty relaxed, probably because it wasn't very busy at the time we went (after 9 or so). They let us play card games until the lobby closed, once the lobby closed we sat in the outdoor seating area which was pretty clean (a good sign in my book). It's in a great location known as fast food central, a plaza with a bunch of fast food restaurants next to each other including burger king, mcdonalds, wendys, chick fil a, and a hooters all right next to each other. It's also great because it's next to a hotel, Walmart, a gas station and the Dulles Expo Center. So if you have to travel to Chantilly stay in that plaza you'll be set for your trip. read more

I usually go to the one in fairlakes but I happened to be around this one one friday. I ordered the personal pan cheese pizza with the bread sticks and drink and my sister had ordered something from the taco bell menu and added a side of bread sticks. First off, the bread sticks tasted like they had been left over from the morning time. The pizza was fine so that's all I ate. About an hour after leaving I just didn't feel right, I was really nauseous. I woke up the next day sicker then ever. I puked over 10 times throughout the day and was so weak I could barely get out of my bed. I couldn't eat or drink anything but water. The next day I still wasn't able to eat but I stopped throwing up. My sister called me telling me she went through the same thing. Don't eat at this place unless you're willing to be sick for a couple days after. I wish this place would get shut down after what I went through from eating there. I love taco bell and pizza hut but I will never eat at this one again ! read more

Honestly i have read so many bad reviews about this taco bell however i have never had a bad experience until tonight. The only problem was the wait with no warning and for no reason. So we waited in the drive thru line for a bit and when we pulled up to the window the guys apologized for it taking so long which was sweet. But then we verified (after saying 3 times when ordering) that there was no sour cream on the crunch wrap that we ordered. When we verified the guy then said that we said sour cream was okay. No. No we didn't. We asked 3 times NOT to put sour cream on it. He then said well it's already on there so is that okay? I use to frequent this taco bell location often but now they've raised their prices to be out of control. Price gauging at its finest. What really gets me is any promotions that are advertised online or TV DO NOT apply here as the $1.00 "happier hour" isn't a dollar along with other promotions I've seen on TV that got me to drive there only to find the prices way more than they've been advertised. Wow, this place is bad. I have been to "bad" Taco Bells before but this on is not one I will return to. First, the prices are much more expensive than other TBs in the area, the service SUCKS. I went well after lunch expecting no line at the drive thru and there wasn't but I still waited. I get up to the window and I'm handed a drink that was either sitting out for awhile (maybe condensation) or they just spilled the soda all over the cup, not sure which. We did drive thru at this location and I just have to mention that the person on the speaker as well as the one that takes your money and gives the food were sooo friendly and nice, which is unusual on a drive thru, that makes you want to go there again. The food was served promptly and fresh and the cashier name was Sandra. We had a QUESARITO which was incredible wonderful, best Mexican food I ever had. They seem to almost never have any of the personal pan pizzas when I go there anymore. Why stick a Pizza Hut in here if they usually don't have any pizza? Whenever I ask for some, the response at least 80 percent of the time is "I'm sorry, we don't have any of that right now" (why advertise this location as including a Pizza Hut then?) or "Sorry, the pizza is cooking" (this is supposed to be fast food, if I wanted to wait I would just order from an actual Pizza Hut). The personal pizzas aren't even that good, I just sometimes get random cravings for them and it really bothers me that I have to come here not knowing if they'll even have the food they're supposed to. Can't say anything about the Taco Bell part of this place though since I never get it. read more
