On July 29 at approximately 8:10 PM, I went to this Taco Bell expecting to place an order. The person at the drive-through , Juan, refuse to take my order because I was black. I have the entire conversation on recording .Instead, an employee refused to take my order and threatened to call the police. I left without causing any problems because I didn't want the situation to escalate. when I called Taco Bell after I got home and asked to speak to the manager, the manager was careless about the situation when I was genuinely entitled because I was racially, profiled and stereotype before I even got my food. From my perspective, I believe I was treated differently than I should have been, and I left feeling that my race may have played a role in how I was treated. I have a recording of the interaction. The drive-through worker was very disrespectful towards me for no reason. he was saying things like I just clocked in. He was saying things along the lines of, "I don't have to take your order." and "If you don't leave i will call the cops" Then when i started recording he claimed that i was being "rude" and that's why he refused service when that's not what he initially told me. This experience was upsetting and left me feeling unwelcome. I went through drive -thru and ordered one crunch taco no lettuce and wanted to order the Baco fries. I was told their fryer is not working therefore they could not have the nacho fries. Once I paid got my food I drove around and parked my car I. There parking lot. My order was wrong and there's lettuce and barely NO cheese in my taco. We have been out of town for a while, and was so excited to find that there is a Taco Bell here near the Crossings!! Yes, there is another one not too far away, but this was is in a far better location (for us). Since we had a long day, we used the app and did a mobile order. Once I checked in at the Drive Thru, it didn't take long at all to make it through the line and the staff was super friendly and on par! Once home, the order was perfect, nothing was missing and it was oh soooo good! I see there may be some issues by reading some of the other reviews, but we had no issues what so ever with our first order and visit. I know a lot of places need to get a feel of the flow in the area, and there are always some kind of hiccups in the beginning, but I know we will be back to this location.
