lobby closes at 11 but they lock the doors at 1030 this is ridiculous and the service is AWFUL do not come to this one they need new management ASAP this is a good Taco Bell but bad management who ignore the problems

This is supposed to be a bean burrito with no red sauce. The beans look like meat. They're so dry.!!!

You would think for Mexican fast food restaurant they would at least have the refried beans made up right!!!!

I was told they only do outdoors, with the truck. I need indoors for nursing home residents and staff (like trays of stuff for a buffet line or something). So unfortunately the truck doesn't really accommodate my needs. That's okay. Nobody can be everything to everybody, I get it. But I also ordered dinner, to go. I have a deep love for Mexican cuisine (more so authentic fast food and home cookin) that goes back as far as I can remember and I was eagerly anticipating THIS dinner. Now, I used to basically live on the California/Mexico border and ate in Mexico, in border towns and non-border towns. I've also cruised deep into Mexico. One of my mother's husbands was Mexican and so was one of mine. I've spent time in Mexican bush camps in southern Texas over a campfire cooking texmex with ranch hands, but I'm no foodie. I just have a little exposure and experience in this genre. So that really compels me to say that my dinner was less than impressive. Service was good for sure. The carnitas chimichanga I ordered was pure meat. On the side was some sour cream, guacamole (not enough of either) and plenty of shredded lettace underneath the condiments. The chips were good, but could've been warmer with more salt and salsa. I have to say that the food at this restaurant, while 'stylized' as Mexican, isn't really what you'd expect as Mexican (only marginally adjacent, I'm afraid). I truly didn't expect it to be authentic this far away from Mexico, but it really missed the mark. I saw tortillas, I saw stylized proteins and even salsa. I just didn't FEEEELLLL Mexico when I ate the food. The carnitas tasted like boiled shredded pork, I'm sorry to say. No spice, no heart, nothing Mexico about it.

The taco truck is open Friday Saturday and Sunday and there are several socially distanced picnic tables outside, some with umbrellas and some without. It was a nice day so we sat in the sun. My diablas torta (chorizo & carne asada) was delicious with slices of avocado, onion, lettuce and peppers. Unlike most tortas I've had they were light with the mayo which is appreciated when you're having something as decadent as chorizo and steak. The bread was amazing and fresh as well. Great sandwich. The bf has lengua, carnitas and diabla tacos and enjoyed them all. We had horchata and Jamaica to drink. The Jamaica was not too sweet which was nice. The horchata was very good. My biggest problem with the aguas frescas set up was the multitude of yellow jackets attacking the drink dispensers which were set up for self service. I had wanted limonada but the bees were particularly interested in the dispenser for that one. We also checked out the store next door and picked up a packet of hot homemade tamales (also delicious) as well as some chorizo, hot sauce and drinks. Highly recommended weekend trip.

The closest thing we've found to tacos that remind us of home- LA. It's well with the drive for us!read more

I firat found out about this Mexican Store and Taco Truck from locals while I was at an art exhibit that was in town. This place may very well have the most authentic taco experience in Western New York. The taco truck is parked outside of the grocery store, and you can order single tacos in steak, chicken, carnitas, chorizo, and al pastor, or buy an order of tacos, which gives you one of each! Each taco has tons of meat, along with diced onion and cilantro, and comes with lime wedges and pickled onion. Bottles of Guacamole, Roja and Verde sauces are also available, I personally love the Verde. There are a few tables outside, and a few indoors in a side room of the Store. The taco truck seems to only be open on weekends from mid May to mid October. The store is interesting as well, with a lot of fresh produce, snacks, clothes and more that you can't find at most grocery stores.

This is a review of the actual store. The taco truck, which sits outside, has very limited hours, and is only open in the summer, so I will do a separate review of that when I finally get to try it. Hopefully Yelp will move the Taco Truck reviews over to the new listing once it exists. The people running it are lovely. The Mexican drinks are dirt cheap and authentic imported. Try all of the Jarritos, or try some of the Mexican coke which is made with real sugar and therefore actually tastes surprisingly... good! You can see from the pictures that the place is full of all kinds of amazing stuff. If you're ever in Medina, you must stop by. It's not a town you'd ever expect such a marvellous extensive Mexican store in, and yet, here it is. I hope they stay in business. I think they're connected to the Monte Alban restaurants in Rochester and the burbs of the 585. And of course if the taco truck is open, stop there and have a taco. You can always call this store and ask if their taco truck is open, and if not, then when. Speaking of tacos, would you like to see mine. Oh wait, I have the other thing. The Chorizo. Well maybe you can put Chorizo in the Taco? That sounds like it would be perfect. Let me know if you're up for it. After all, it's my life. And all the people, so many people, all go hand in hand through their Parklife. Damon "Monte" Albarn told me.

First off, the food at Chuy's is incredible. If you haven't been - get down there and try it…read more But this review is more about the service. On Wednesday, April 22 I was in Henrietta for an appt and decided to place an order at Chuy's to pick up on my way home. I paid and received my email confirmation. My mouth was already watering... I arrived to the restaurant early, hoping it would be ready. They were closed. A sign hung on their door stating they were "Closed Wednesdays and Sundays until further notice". Nothing on their site indicated this and my order went through with no issue. I was a bit upset. Not only for the inconvenience but also because I was hungry and wanted my burrito! So the next day, I had to be back in Henrietta anyway so I stopped in and asked about the order. They immediately apologized profusely - apparently there was a glitch that allowed several orders to go through. They assured me that I would be refunded. I asked if it would be possible to just give me my order instead of a refund (I was still dreaming of that burrito). They said of course and even offered me a free drink which was not expected (I was happy to pay but they insisted). The burrito came out in less than five minutes and they said they would still refund me - even though I assured them it was not necessary. I wasn't even mad when I came in; I didn't make any scene or demands. I just wanted to ask about my order assuming it was an accident, and give them a chance to see what they could do. They went above and beyond anything I would have expected. They more than made up for any minor inconvenience it caused. Even if they didn't refund me, I would have still felt the same way in how I was treated. So yes, the food is incredible, but it is matched with a masterclass in customer service which feels increasingly rare these days. I'd post a pic of my burrito but I've been chowing down on it while trying this review and, well, it's gone...

What an incredible experience…read more This restaurant gives meaning to the saying, "never judge a book from its cover." The reason I say that is, it's unassuming from the outside. Connected to an auto repair shop to the left and liquor store on the right. Arriving, we saw only a handful of tables that weren't cleared off from past customers. We waited by the front door not realizing you order from the window which is hidden in the corner. We were greeted by a friendly young lady and after we placed in our orders, we sat ourselves and waited for our food to arrive. The first thing to arrive was the guacamole with chips. We found the guacamole to be less chunky as we'd like, but nevertheless it was pleasant. The chips were overly salted in our opinion but did not take away from the dish. Then came the al pastor tacos. These were absolutely delicious. The pork was wonderfully marinated, and the toppings added to the entire taco rather than overpower the pork. We also opted in for the shrimp tacos, which were also quite delicious. Ordering a couple of empanadas, one steak and one al pastor, these were phenomenal. Taking a bite of each, you can identify everything inside these perfectly fried parcels. Very very good. I can confidentially say, this is the best Mexican food I've ever eaten and easily beats any of our Mexican restaurants here in Rochester. But a fair warning to future patrons. Don't expect to walk in and expect a full-service restaurant. Waiting times can be a little longer than expected as well. But the upside is receiving delicious, made-to-order food made with love and care. We'd make the trip to Sodus just to revisit this restaurant.
