Far and away, my favorite Taco Bell. This restaurant recently underwent a thorough remodel inside to breathe in some fresh air to the outdated decor and seating. The only downfall of the remodel is they seem to have lost quite a few seats. However, this Taco Bell is right off I-65 and the majority of their business is drive thru or to-go orders. The employees here are always bubbly and energetic. At most low-level fast food places, the employees don't care about you nor the service. This place does their best to fulfill orders at a good pace and make small talk with you as needed to make your visit more enjoyable. The food here was always correct each time I ordered. I have used the Taco Bell app on my phone twice in the past few weeks a bit leery about my order being wrong, but it was always perfect...even down to the details like 'no cheese' or 'extra meat' on my Mexican Pizza. With the influx of business this Taco Bell does which I believe is far more than most Taco Bells, kudos to the staff for their speed of service and attention to detail. -Bob read more

I ordered from the drive thru today and ordered a Diet Pepsi with my meal. I got it and no ice. I drove around and was told the ice machine is slow so no ice. What kind of national restaurant chain can't hire competent management to at least stock enough lettuce? I'm not going to place any blame on the kid working that evening, because he's only as good as management. But they didn't have any lettuce. In addition, they didn't have Sierra Mist. 2 cars ahead of me and it took 20 minutes for me to get thru the line. From my perspective, it seemed a bit excessive as the guy directly in front of me received his food relatively quickly, as did I. The kid running the window did inform me they were out of lettuce before proceeding with the order so I knew what I was getting myself into. Nope. Traveling through and decided to stop inside because drive-thru was backed up. Nobody staffing the register and figured out why....a toppled over, broken sign that said to order at the kiosk. Kiosk didn't even have the Pizza Hut menu items on it. People hanging out waiting for food we're complaining about how long it took. Get your shiz together, there's nothing but bad reviews. I have had nothing but bad experiences here. They get my order wrong all the time. While they are friendly for the most part they are all pretty incompetent and can't tell the difference between a regular taco and a supreme. The last order I received for supposed to be a taco supreme and all I got was a plain taco with no lettuce or cheese, just meat. I think it was meat. read more

During COVID, I was surprised when I was at the drive thru window, and the cashier wasn't wearing her mask over her mouth or nose. When I asked why, her reply was, "I don't know." Then I saw through the window that the girl taking the orders also did not have her mouth or nose covered with her mask. I tapped on the window and asked to talk to the manager. The cashier told me there was no manager in the evening. Finally, the girl who brought my order to the window, also did not have her mouth or nose covered with her mask. I'll type this quicker than it took me to order and receive my purchase... I ordered 1 chicken quesadilla. I arrived at the drive through at 8:05. The car ahead of me had already ordered and was stuck at the speaker with other cars ahead. It was 8:10 when that car was able to move so I could order. I waited... as I already wasted 5 minutes of my break. I finally reached the window at 8:30 and received my order. That's 25 minutes. Sounded like the crew was either partying or arguing, not sure, was incredibly loud. Not even an apology for the wait. Every other fast food restaurant will tell someone to pull up and they will bring their order out when it's ready, if that's what's holding them up. I don't even think that was the case, since the 4 vehicles ahead of me each had to wait a lengthy period before they were handed their orders. Provide your staff with better training. read more

I went to Taco Bell 61st and I 65 in Hobart, Indiana to try the naked chicken taco. Mind you....it's lunch time on a Saturday afternoon. There's a line of four cars in front of me and three cars behind me. I get to the drive thru speaker and total silence.....so I pull to the first window and was informed, they are not taking any more orders right now......excuse me......but I just waited in your line for 15 minutes and no one said anything through the drive thru speaker......how do you just stop taking orders in the drive thru. I agree with Tabitha more than Jerry here. My service was slow as no one was working the counter. However, I did enjoy the music theme, especially the violin over the back left entrance. Still, this restaurant served its intended purpose and I grabbed a Coke to go on my way back to #Atlanta. read more

While the food was correct and hot the service is horrifically slow. I celebrated two birthdays while waiting in the drive-through line. The customer service is below par with no please or thank you or you're welcome from anyone working at this Taco Bell. Majority of the employees just stand around and talk with their friends while not assisting any customers. I have given this Taco Bell a few chances and this will be my last. It took us 32 minutes from when we ordered our food in the drive thru to when we got our food. It wasn't that long of a line, each car took 5 to 10 minutes to get there food. But once we finally got it, we realized that they didn't even give us all of our food. The workers looked lazy and didn't care to serve us. This is the WORST restaurant ( not just taco bell)I have ever been to....not one employee moves faster than a crawl, food is ALWAYS cold,incomplete, or your waiting for a half hour to get your food . We should have known the food here was going to be bad based on the appearance of the restaurant. The windows, doors, counters and especially the bathrooms were dirty and dilapidated. My daughter ordered 2 burritos and after biting into the second, she said that something didn't taste right. Looks like this place is very understaffed. It took a very long time to get service through the drive thru. There were 7 cars in total including myself (5 in front of be and 1 behind). It took about 10 mins to be helped to place my order after being told, "one moment, please." Once ordered, I wasn't able to pull forward due to the cars in front of me. I watched as 4 different cars pulled out of the line before reaching the window to pay for their order. So in all 2 out of 7 of us were served in 27 minutes. As I pulled around, I noticed that the inside was not open due to it being later in the night. I do not see why it took so long, or why they were behind. Also, just to note, it ALWAYS takes somewhere around 15 mins to complete your order from start to finish at this place. Very slow, service every time. Then to top it off, once I got to the window to pay, they had my order wrong. Due to the fact that I was not willing to wait any longer, I paid for the incorrect order and went on my way. Worst customer experience ever. Young man working at cleaning the parking area would not get off his cellphone. This was prior to opening hours on a cold winter day. The young man gave me big sass ('you're not my manager') Though he said he would get a manager to help me, he continued cleaning and chatting. I was asking for assistance to help catch a loose rescue dog in the parking lot. He was too busy chatting up his fiancé (he told me this!!!) DId put the phone away after I banged on doors and got a mgrs. attention. She was also no help ('corporate policy....blah , blah) Then a third staff appeared. NOT ONE of them said 'how can I help you' or offered assistance. I am sharing this horrid experience with all my friends and staging an absolute boycott of all Taco Bells. Don't go there. The trash had not been removed from closing the night before. There is one star here, but that would be a zero if yelp recognized zero stars. read more
